Jisoo's POV....
I woke up on my own and instantly looked to my alarm to see it hadn't rung yet.
That was odd.
I picked it up to see it was set to ring ten minutes later.
Lisa.

I am gonna kill my cousin!

But I should worry about that now.
Karma has repented and I woke up early.
I dropped my alarm and ran into my bathroom.
I took my time in the shower but the same didn't go for my dressing time.
I was wearing a white suit with a matching shirt underneath and white matching pants.
I wore white Adidas converse and I picked out a black tie but man am I bad at knotting a tie so I just held onto it.
I did a little light make up and I checked the time.
"Gosh, I have to get to the competition before Lisa and warn Jennie" I said and ran downstairs.
Breakfast was being served and I sighed.
"Jisoo? Why are you wearing all white today? It looks nice tough" Aunt said.
"Thanks Aunt"
"You look nice nuna" Jungkook said.
"Thank you. You look good too" I replied. He was wearing a yellow mustard suit with a white shirt underneath and expensive blue jeans with boots.
May I say he dyed his hair red?
Mine remained black by the way.
"Jisoo come sit with us for breakfast" Aunt said.
She barely finished and I spun, dodging her and I grabbed Jungkook's glass of orange juice.
"Can I please have this, buddy?" I asked him and he nodded so I drank it in one big gulp.
"Jisoo, you know you still have time, right?" Aunt asked and I went over to hug her.
"I know Aunt. But I have a mission today" I stressed.
"Jisoo"
"Aunt please, just this once. I promise I'll eat there. Please?" I asked her and she sighed.
"Fine. But once you get back I'm feeding you myself" She said I nodded.
"Jungkook and I will come later on, okay" She said and I nodded then I went off.
"What about your tie?" She called.
"I'll figure it out" I replied in Korean as I ran to my car and literally jumped in it, driving out quickly as I wanted to be there before Lisa.

Jennie's POV....
Today is the day of the competuition and I got up as early as a bird and did all the necessary chores before that sleeping Chipmunk ever woke up.
I even practiced my cooking and it tasted.
I was humming a song while cooking and breakfast was ready before the family woke up so Aunt Seungri or Aunt Jinah would just serve it.
I went back to the room and Rosé was still sleeping soundly.
I sighed and went to take a bath.

She might be awake by then

After the bath....
I was done with my bath and even dressed up but Rosé was still asleep.
I frowned and walked in her direction.
"Jisoo came" I whispered in her ear.
"Where?! Where is she?!" She asked like a mad woman, jumping off the bed.
"Right there" I said, pointing to the bathroom and she frowned.
"I respect you but don't ever joke about Jisoo like that" She told me and I gave a gummy smile as she dragged herself into the bathroom.
I combed my hair and decided to was to wait for Rosé to come help me hair dry.

Ten minutes later....
While Rosé was taking her bath, i took the time to make the bed and clean up the room so when she came out I was wearing my earrings.
"Wow, you're done already" She said.,going to the closet.
"Yes, why wouldn't I?" I smiled and she proceeded to pick out her clothes for the day.
I was wearing a white shirt with a black jacket over it and tight black pants with white converse.
"Are you sure you want to weat that? It's fine though" Rosé asked.
"Yes. I'm going to cook so I want to feel free" I told her and she nodded.
She was a black crop top white black tight fitting pants and a BALENCIAGA jacket over it.
"You look good" I told her.
"Thanks. Now let's get your hair dry" She said, making me sit in front of the dressing mirror and she plugged the hair dryer in.
In a few minutes she was done and I did her hair.
We grabbed things like our phones and bags then ran out only for Rosé to run back in and come out with a pair of sneakers and I ran in to grab my flats.
We laughed at each other's stupidity then ran downstairs.
We got down to see the family members waiting and they we all dressed well.
Taehyung was wearing a well ironed blue long sleeved shirt over white pants with a blue converse and no tie of course.
"I think we're ready to go" Aunt Jinah said and we headed out the door.
On our way to the competition, the car broke down and Rosé looked like she saw a ghost.
We all got out of the car and Taehyung went to check what the problem is.
"How are we going to get there now?" Aunt Jinah asked, running her hand through her hair and I did the same.
"It's not going to start anytime soon guys"  Taehyung announced.
"Oh no. What do we do now?" Rosé asked.
"I think you two should find another way to get there because once you're there everything will be alright" Taehyung said.
"Yes, he's right Jennie. But be careful.  Rosé, look after your sister" Aunt Jinah said and we nodded.
We gave her a hug before running across to the other side of the street.
We had covered a bit of distance on foot when we decided to cross to the other side of the road.
We were about to do that when a car drove, almost into us and Rosé pulled me to herself, causing my back to collide against her front.
"What the...." I said as I saw it was Lalisa with black sunglasses on. "Can you watch where you're going for once? I'm running late" I told her, going to her side of the car.
"Well why don't you just get off the road then and fly out of my face while you're at it?" She told me coldly.
"Why you--" I was about to say something when a mob gathered around us and Rosé held me closer.
"Hey! You won't even apologize to this lady? You almost drove into her" A woman said and Lisa rolled her eyes, getting out of the car and taking her sunglasses off.
She was wearing a well ironed blue suit, a white shirt underneath, a perfectly knotted black tie, matching blue trousers and black shoes.
"Are you a relative of hers?" She asked.
"No"
"Then just go away, you're wasting my time" She told the woman nonchalantly and I gasped.
"Lisa, how could you be so rude? This woman is old enough to be your mother" I told her but this Mon was getting angry.
"Come on! Let's teach her a lesson!" A skinny man called and the mob started getting violent.
"Wait! Stop it all of you!" I shouted at them but a creepy man came forward with a metal pipe and I moved in front of Lisa.
"I promise all of you that if you don't go away I will call the police on you" I warned them.
"She almost ran you over and here you are protecting her"
"It seems like they're lovers" A man said and they all went away, i tried to protest but they were already gone.
"Now get off me" Lisa said, pushing me off her.
"What? I just saved you and you have the guys to speak to me like that? How ungrateful can you be?" I asked her and she rolled her eyes.
"You didn't do me a favour. Now get away. I have somewhere I need to be unlike you" She said and i closed the door she opened.
"You are not going anywhere until you thank me or else I'll call that mob back" I threatened and she looked at me.
"Then call them back. I'll just use you as a shield" She said and Rosé sniffled a laugh.
"Really, you're a stick. What do you need a shield for?" I asked and Rosé looked so red.
"And your cheeks look like dumplings, you little Mandu-- why don't you cook that, no. Don't. Someone might actally mistake your cheeks for the dumplings and eat them right off your face" Lisa said and Rosé burst out laughing, holding her stomach.
"Oh please, you're the only one stupid enough to do that" I told her and she rolled her eyes.
"Whatever. I'm leaving" She said pushed me away to get in her car.
She glared at me from inside her car then drove off.
"You could have asked her for a ride" Rosé said and I huffed.
"Never. Or should I call Kai?" I asked her knowingly.
"I think we might get a taxi" She said and held my hand so we continued walking.

Taehyung's POV....
It took a lot of effort but me, Dad and uncle got the car working again and luckily our clothes didn't get dirty so we just washed our hands and Dad started to drive.
We drove to the competition venue with Mum and Aunt Jinah praying for my sisters   and I did the same, mostly for Jennie.
For that Chipmunk a little.
We got to the venue in a while and we got out of the car but didn't see Jennie or Rosé.
"Where are they?" Mum asked and I saw Jisoo so she ran to us.
"Where's Jennie?" Jisoo asked me.
"She's not here yet--"
"WHAT!" She screamed sharply and I swear to God my ears could have bled.
"Pathetic" Lisa said behind Jisoo and i began to get worried.
"No one asked for you opinion, Lisa" Jisoo scolded her and she walked up to us with her hands in her pockets.
"There's just twenty minutes left for the competition to start and she'll never make it so please tell her that she's disqualified" Lisa said and I heard gasps behind me.
Even i was shocked at such cruelty.
But Jisoo turned to meet Lisa.
"That'll be if she doesn't make it and i promise you she WILL make it or else my name isn't Kim Jisoo" She said blankly but boldly and my family and I cheered up.
"And I say she WON'T make it or else my name isn't Lalisa Manoban" Lisa countered in the same tone and they inched closer to each other dangerously.
"Well we'll just have to see" Jisoo said and Lisa scowled like the devil himself.

Rosé's POV....
"Rosé there are no taxis. What are we gonna do?" Jennie unnie asked worriedly.
I was about to say something when I noticed a familiar car.
"Wait, look" I said, pulling her to show her the car.
"Jisoo?" She gasped and Jisoo parked right in front of us.
"Come on guys, get in" She called and we jumped in.
I was in the back while Jennie unnie was seated up front with Jisoo.
"Jisoo I'm so glad you're here" I told her and kissed her cheek from behind and she held my hand.
"Me too Jisoo, thank you" Jennie unnie said and Jisoo smiled.
"It's okay Jennie. You need to win today, no matter what happens" Jisoo said urgently.
"Why? You sound serious" Jennie unnie asked.
"It's Lisa. She says if you don't win this round you have to leave the competition, for good" Jisoo said and it felt like a blow to the face and Jennie looked scared.
Oh Lisa, why? I took you as my favourite chef, I'm hurt.

Next time on Parallel Love....

"We're here but there's not much time left for the competition to start. Here's you tag Jennie"
"Thank you"
"Now go. And show Lisa what you are"
"I will"
"Today's challenge is about embracing new situations. So you'll all have to cook a non Korean dish"
"Oh my God. Lisa is a monster. She did this on purpose"
"Don't worry. I have faith in my sister"
"Me too. But Lisa can be cunning at times"
"Don't worry. Jennie will win this"
"I hope so"

Okay guys, cross your fingers because even I don't know what the outcome of the first round will be.
