Jungkook's POV....
After i dropped Taehyung off at his place, i drove home and walked into the house, soaking wet, thinking about him with a dreamy look on my face and i was full of smiles.
"Jungkook" My mum called and i snapped out of it.
"Yes mother" I answered and she rushed over.
"Son.... why are you so soaking wet and why didn't you pick my calls? It was raining cats and dogs and we couldn't find you" She said, holding my arms and rubbing them.
"I'm okay mum, i was with a friend and I've never been happier" I giggled, Taehyung's face flashing in my mind.
"Was it the same one that brought you to the hospital?" She asked and i smiled.
"Yes. It was him mother" I told her proudly.
"You really need to invite him here so we can all meet him, okay? And you should do that as soon as possible" She asked and i nodded, full of smiles.
"Okay Mum, anything for you" I said and hugged her, kissing her forehead and once again, thoughts of Taehyung arrested my mind and I was smiling unconsciously.

Mina's POV....
Its been a while since i last saw Chaeyoung and I'm really worried about her because she's my best friend and we share a special connection with eachother.
And as weird as it is, even when I'm with my boyfriend, Jack Zhang, i still think of her alot and sometimes i start smiling or laughing out of the blue like now.
"Babe, why are laughing? Tell me, i wanna laugh too" He insisted like a child and i knew i was doomed.

Come on Mina, think! You dont want to make him suspicious, or mad...

"Remember that time you told me about how you fell off a jetski because your cousin threw a boomerang at you?" I asked, lacing it with chuckle and he burst out laughing too.
"Yes. It really hurt and he did it on purpose just to get me back for eating his lunch" He laughed.
"You went into the water after eating?" I asked, feigning interest.
"Yes, of course! How was i supposed to support my alibi of not being there when his lunch was gulped down by a hungry guy?!" He asked, howling with laughter and i joined him.
I guessed some of the people in the restuarant heard us because they started laughing too.
"A hungry hot guy" I complimented and he giggled.
"Sitting next to a gorgeous lady" He said back and i blushed a bit.
Suddenly i remember that time when i was studying and refused to eat and Chaeyoung came into my room.

Flashback....
"Mina! Leave that thing alone and come eat!" She yelled with a frown playing on her face.
"No, just hang on im almost done Chae" I pleaded.
"Don't you dare 'I'm almost done Chae' me. You've been saying that for the past four hours!" She shouted at me but i only threw my hair back and squinted my eyes at my laptop, diving more deeper into my work when suddenly it was slammed shut and i squeaked, jumping back.
"What the heck did you do that for Chaeyoung?!" I asked angrily and glared at her but she only sent smiles my way.
"I'm glad i have your attention now Mina, just wait for me, okay?" She said, gesturing with her hands and zipped out of my room, down the stairs.
In a while she was back with food on a tray.
"I'm not having it so take it back!" I said and threw a fit, crossing my arms across my chest and facing the other side to pout.
"Okay. Don't blame if you end up in mid air" She said and before i could register her words, she picked me up in her arms and sat on the chair i was sitting on before with me fully sitting in her lap and she smiled at me as i had my arms around her neck.
"Will you eat now?" She asked softly.
"Yes please" I replied and she smiled.

End of flashback....

But i miss my dorky friend now. Even though her memories radiate my soul i urgently needed to meet her physically and make new ones.
"Hey Jack?" I asked as he ate his food.
"Yeah babe?"
"Uhm i was wondering if you could drop me off at my friend's place after this?" I asked him sweetly so he wouldn't refuse.
"Sure thing. Just let me finish this. I'm really hungry, especially after remembering the boomerang-jetski thing" He complained and i giggled, watching him eat but soon after my mind drifted off to Chaeyoung again.

I can't wait to see you again Chaeyoung....

Rosé's POV.....
"Unnie! Unnie! Unnie!!" I shouted, running down the stairs to the kitchen.
"Yes Rosé what's wrong?" She asked.
"The competition is in four days!" I exclaimed and she gasped.
"Oh my goodness! Chaeng we haven't told anyone about it yet" She worried.
"Dont worry about that. Taehyung has already told Aunt Seun-gri and Uncle Mark and i told grandma so you have to talk to Aunt Jin-ah" I told her and she gasped.
"What?! You want me to talk to her about something I'm not even sure about! No" She said, turning away and crossing her arms on her chest.
"Please!!!!" A lot of voices said at once and she turned around quickly.
"What are all of you doing here?" She asked as she saw every member of our family except Aunt Jin-ah ooh and Jisoo was there too.

"Please Jennie you have to agree to the competition, it's going to be very fun and exposing for you" Uncle Jin said.

I hope she exposes her heart to Lisa, just saying..

"Take part in it Jennie. You'll use your gift to it's full potential!" Uncle Mark supported.
"But Samchon--" Unnie began.
"Just participate Jennie. You'll make us really proud-- not that you dont make us proud everyday. But it'll be fun for you and you'll have the experience of being in a famous cooking show" Aunt Seun-gri  gushed happily.
"Jennie. You should listen to them. For once all of them are right" Grandma said and Unnie loomed nervous.
"Jennie dear, dont listen to her. You should follow your heart and put yourself first because you never do anything for yourself except to fulfil all of their wishes all day long" Grandpa said and we all eyed him.
"Grandpa!" We all yelled at him except Jennie unnie and Jisoo.
"Shut up and help your granddaughter do something good for herself for once" Grandma scolded her son and he rolled his eyes.
"Jennie..." Jisoo began, stepping forward and i smiled. "I think you should think about this before coming to a decision and follow your heart because I dont want you to do something you don't want to do, okay?" She said with a lot of inspiration and she had her hand on Jennie shoulder.

She looks so inspirational right now... take the hint unnie!

"Jisoo, with all due respect.."

Author & Rosé: Oh God

"...I really need Aunt Jin-ah's consent first. She's like a mother to me and i would never think of doing anything behind her back or without her permission even if it was for my own good. So i really need her permission. Sorry" Unnie explained and i was touched by her confession.
"It's alright Jennie. I would also never want to go against my mother. So i understand what you're feeling" Jisoo said to Jennie unnie.
"So if Aunt Jin-ah agrees then you will do the competition?" Taehyung asked and Uncle Mark nodded in agreement with his question.
"Yes" Jennie unnie said and we all cheered.
"Oh my gosh! I just hope Aunt Jin-ah agrees to this! It'll be so amazing!" I cheered, giving unnie a side hug.
"Rosé, she hasn't even given her consent yet and you're already celebrating" Unnie said and Taehyung started dancing like he was a K Pop and we all laughed, joining, after i pulled Jisoo and Jennie into the fun of course.

Chaeyoung's POV....
I was in my room, wallowing in my own misery when i heard a knock on the door downstairs but i was in no mood to open it so i stayed down there.
"Let whoever it is give up and go away just like i did a few miserable days ago" I mumbled and dug my face into my bed.

Mina's POV....
I told Jack to go as soon as he dropped me off and i knocked on the door and waited for someone to come open it but it took a while so i knocked again and Chaeyoung's Mum opened the door with a bright smile and i smiled back.
"Annyeonghaseyo Mum" I greeted her like that because she made get used to calling her Mum but i enjoyed it.
"Annyeonghaseyo Mina. Chaeyoung is inside and i really have yo go somewhere real quick so can you please look after her for me?" She asked and i nodded eagerly, smiling like an idiot and she beamed, thanking me a million times before running to her car and i walked inside, full of smiles.

Boy, I'm so happy! I wonder if she's sleeping...

I brought out my perfume and sprayed it then started walking upstairs.

Chaeyoung's POV....
I heard Mum talking to someone downstairs and from her tone i knew it was Mina and my eyes flashed open so fast i thought I'd get up in the same manner but i just jumped up acrobatically from my flat lying position and my hair was everywhere.
I jumped into the bathroom while removing my clothes on the way and i was left in my sports bra and tight Calvin Kleins.

Rosé: Before you start thinking, the Author sent me to tell you she's not trans. So cut the dirty thoughts short if you're having them 😏

I got rid of them and jumped into my bathtub which was now filled with cold water and i did my thing.

Mina's POV....
I was going up the stairs when i heard the shower in Chaeyoung's room running and i blushed shyly.
If her Mum was here, I'd beg the ground to open up and swallow me.
Thank goodness she isn't.
So i walked up the stairs and went into Chaeyoung's room, peeked and got in without knocking and saw her clothes on the floor and a blush ran through my entire body.

Chaeyoung's POV....
I heard someone opening the door and i guessed it was my Mum.
And as forgetful as i so happen to be, i forgot my towel.

Yeah, i just happen to not keep it in the toilet cause if it ever falls... ugh!!! The cringely shivers....

Author: Same here, i get ya Chaeyoung

So i took the opportunity to ask for it.
"Mum! Can you please get my towel for me?" I asked, putting on my underwear.

Mina's POV....
"Mum! Can you please get my towel for me?" That one came while i was still in my thoughts.

What?! Oh my God! I'm not ready to die! History will have it that she died looking at her hot friend! Ugh!

But i had no choice so i went into her closet and grabbed her towel and sniffed it.

Oh it smells so much like her! It's heavenly!!!

"Mum!" She called again and i rushed to her and knocked on the door.
She opened it and i came in a little, handing her the towel.
"Thank you--" She froze in her words as soon as she saw me and i did the same.
My lips parted a bit at the sight in front of me.
She was in only her sports bra and Calvin Kleins and droplets of water were dripping down her body and her hair was oh so wet, so was somewhere in my body.
My eyes travelled down to her torso and stayed there.
It was like they were glued to the spot.
"M-mina... you..." She tried to speak and i looked up at her and she froze.
Her plump lips were the only thing i could see now and i wanted to taste them no matter what.
"Mina..." She began but i raised two fingers to her lips.

Take me now....

My mind was playing that scene from Jessie when Luke said 'Take me now' after Jessie hugged another version of herself.
I was smiling up at her and looked puzzled, trying to scan my eyes.

Chaeyoung's POV.....
I was looking down at Mina, trying to scan her eyes but i had no idea what was happening to her and it is very awkward to be in my bathroom, if i may mention, nearly naked with my bestfriend, holding a finger to my lips, no, two fingers.
I started to move backwards and accidentally turned the water in the bathtub on and i gulped.
She also move closer to and this time it was the shower thing that came on and damn me for leaving it hanging in the air because it started to rain all over us and i looked up at the shower thingy and frowned but she placed a hand to my cheek and i looked down at her.
She was smiling dreamily and i was forced to smile at her lovingly.

Is my fantasy finally becoming a reality?

She was moving closer and I on instinct was moving backwards.
Soon there was nowhere left to go but i was proved wrong when we crashed into the bathtub and there was a huge splash and we were both soaked and i was bewildered but Mina was still smiling.
"You look cute" She whispered directly in my ear and i shivered as goosebumps rose on my skin and i drew in a breath.
"Mina..." I began yet again but she did the same thing she did last time and that was when i realized my hands were around her waist and i started to pull them away but she impossibly held my hands in place.
"Why? Don't you like me anymore?" She asked and i opened my mouth to speak but she beat me to it. "You haven't made any sort of contact with me for the past few days and it hurt me so much and now that we're here together you want to run away from me Chaeyoung?" She asked with tears in her eyes and i wiped them away with my thumb.
"It's not like that Mina. I still value you. It's just that you're engaged now and i don't want to get in the way of your relationship and new life" I said, thankfully making a straight sentence and i didn't date to say the word 'love' because it would just make things awkward.
"That's why you're keeping your distance?" She asked and i nodded. "Then I'll break up with Jack because he's not as important as you are to me" She said and was about to get off me but i held her arm.
"No. Don't do that. He makes you happy and i dont want to ruin that"
"HE doesn't make me as happy as YOU do" She said and i smiled.
"It's good to hear that from you Mina" I said and she smiled, wiping my tears away. "Just don't leave him"
"Why?" She asked.
"Because he hasn't given you a genuine reason to and when he does, I'll kick his a$$ for you" I said and she giggled.
"You're hilarious Chaeng" She laughed and i joined her.
"Come on. Let's get out of the water and get you dried off" I said and she shrugged but got out of the water and helped me out too and luckily my towel was discarded on the sink.
"Here. Use my towel. I'll go get another one" I said and she looked at the towel then me.
"No. I have a better idea" She said and started taking her clothes off.
"Mina what are you doing??" I asked in utter disbelief but she only smirked as i tried to look away but she turned my face to her nearly naked body.
"Don't look away, I'll feel bad" She said and i blushed.
"Sooooo, if I'm in my right senses, you want me to look at you?" I asked.
"If you want to" She said in a voice i thought was seductive and i blinked.
"Come on silly! We're girls so of course i won't mind it if you stare at my body" She teased, pushing my shoulder and i laughed nervously.

So it's not because she wants me... it's because we're girls, aish...
But on the bright side at least she loves me more than that boyfriend of hers

She put the towel around the both of us and wiped our bodies dry and after that i went to my closet and brought out a set of clothes for her.
While she wore them, i picked out some clothes for myself too; a pair of black sweatpants and a blue shirt that says TWICE on it and i turned around to see her in my white sweatpants and black branded shirt that was a bit oversized for her but it still made her look cute.
"Wow" I said out loud.
"What?" She asked, looking at what she was wearing.
"You look nice" I said and she smiled cutely.
For some reason, i felt that the usual vibes of our friendship had returned.
And it made me truly happy despite the face that she's engaged.

Mina's POV....
I don't know if Chaeyoung felt this but the usual vibes in our friendship had returned and i smiled brightly at her and she did the same for me.
"Come on, let's go do something" I said, holding her hand and she nodded with that cute smile of her's, following me out of the room and i felt genuinely happy for the first time in days.
