Welcome to Paradise Rising, the sequel to Paradise Falling, featuring one of your most favorite side characters: Jackson Pierce*. Without WP, this series would not have been written, so I saw it fitting that I'd post the second story here as a first draft. Due to other projects I'm working on, I will likely only have time for weekly updates, but once the new year rolls around, I will probably update more often.

So what can you expect? 

Just like Paradise Falling, this one is gonna be a dark romantic thriller. Jackson is maybe the most morally gray character (besides from villains) that I've ever written, with deep emotional scars that dictate everything he does. Many of you might not like him, though I hope he will grow on you and will be redeemable in the end.

In addition, the story will be riddled with violence including flashbacks to severe torture, swearing, drug use, physical and emotional abuse (no SA) and sexual manipulation--you name it--so please read at your own risk! Jackson is a mercenary, aka a well paid hitman,  and his profession comes with all its darkness and power plays not designed for the faint-hearted, sensitive reader, or readers with rigid morals!

(*Even though Paradise Rising is a sequel to Paradise Falling and will feature a few of the series's favorites, the book is standalone and you don't need to have read Paradise Falling to understand the plot).

This story is written for serialized fiction, which means you will have short chapters (between 600 and 1.5k on average) and a lot of chapters will end with some sort of cliffhanger or tense scene (if not, let me know).
