"Taehyung!"

Jungkook turns the corner, almost running into his fiancé.

"Kookie, you almost made me drop the smoothies," Taehyung frowned while balancing the three drinks in his hands.

"Sorry hyung."

Hoseok also turned the corner and looked at the younger confused. "Jungkook? Why are you here?"

"I was wondering if you needed any help." He lied while smiling innocently.

Hoseok shrugged and handed him two of the four smoothies he was holding. "Thanks."

"Did you just come?" Taehyung asked.

Jungkook nodded. "I would have come sooner but I took the wrong turn."

"I see." Taehyung mumbled softly to himself. He then looked up his lover and quickly pecked his lips.

Jungkook widened his eyes and blushed. "What was that?" He asked, slightly caught off guard by the sudden action.

"I just wanted to remind you how much I love you." Taehyung grinned. Jungkook pushed him lightly, almost causing Taehyung to drop the drinks.

"Okay lovey dovey couple, let's go." Hoseok giggled. "That reminds me of a song! Lovey dovey dovey uh uh uh uh"

"He's singing again, run!" Taehyung laughed, running away with Jungkook.

"Yah! Come back here and love me!" Hoseok shouted after his friends, earning weird looks from visitors.

"What?"

Taehyung and Jungkook ran back to the group, joining them on the small table. Jimin scrunched his eyebrows.

"Where's Hobie hyung?" Jimin asked.

"He's coming," Taehyung answered. "Oh! By the way..."

Taehyung reached over and smacked his friend in the head. Jimin yelped, rubbing the back of his head and glaring.

"What the hell was that for?" He snarled.

"I'm sure you know pretty damn well why I did that." Taehyung responded sternly.

Jimin kept silent, drinking the smoothie that Jungkook handed to him. Jhope came soon after, plopping down onto the table.

"Ditchers." He muttered, taking a seat beside Jimin.

"Hey guys, manager hyung texted me and said we're going to the beach after." Namjoon spoke after receiving a text. "Are you guys ready to leave?"

"Sure, let's go." Jin nodded as he stood up.

The members grabbed their smoothies, walking through the remainder of the zoo. Yoongi found the reptile house filled with different types of snakes, frogs, and lizards. They agreed to check it out before meeting their manager.

"Hoseok, look! Snakes!" Yoongi grinned. "Remember what happened on our trip to Kota Kinabalu?"

"Don't remind me," Hoseok shivered. "I hate snakeu."

"Check it out! A worker is bringing one out." Jimin jumped in excitement, pointing at it. "Wait! Hyung, where are you going?"

The members turned and saw Jhope sprinting out of the reptile house, yelling "ahhhhhhh!"

"Who dares me to chase him with it?" Yoongi asked, smirking. "What? No one? I don't care. I'm going to do it anyways."

"Keep Suga away from that snake," Jin warned.

"I'm going to pet it." Namjoon grinned.

"You're going to kill it." Jimin laughed.

Jungkook was busy observing the smaller reptiles, not noticing that Taehyung was sneaking from behind him. The elder wrapped his arms around the maknae, kissing him softly on the cheek and rocking him side to side.

"See anything interesting?"

Jungkook smiled, facing his fiancé. "I do now."

Taehyung beamed, planting a small kiss on the younger's lips.

"How romantic. A couple kissing each other as their surrounded by a bunch of lizards," Yoongi taunted. "Not."

"Hyung, it looks like your boyfriend is getting a little too personal with the worker," Jungkook informed.

Yoongi tilted his head in confusion. When he turned back, he found Jimin giggling with one of the lady workers who were holding a snake. He marched over, grabbing Jimin's wrist and pulling him out.

"But hyung! I was going to hold the snake!" Jimin pouted as he was dragged away.

"The only thing that's going to be held is you!" Suga retorted, picking Jimin up bridal style and carrying him out.

Jimin's eyes widened. "Yah! Hyung, put me down!"

"Guys, let's go before Yoongi breaks his hip." Jin advised while following behind them.

Taehyung continued to hold Jungkook, his arms wrapped around the younger's waist, as they waddled their way out.

"Babe, I can't walk like this." Jungkook frowned.

"Sure you can! Just pretend we're penguins." Taehyung giggled. "Wattle wattle wattle."

"You're so childish," the younger laughed. "People are staring at us like we're weirdos."

"People look at me like that all the time," Taehyung snickered.

"That's because you're an alien!"

"True," Taehyung shrugged. "But I'm your alien."

Jungkook simpered, spinning around and hugging his hyung. "You're truly out of this world and I love you for that."

Taehyung paused, gulping as he felt his lover hug him tightly. His lip quivered and hands shook. It was rare that Jungkook would show skin ship towards him in public, but recently it's become an everyday thing. Usually the younger would be shy and push him away or scold him for being to touchy.

Now... Things are different.

And Taehyung loves it.

His hands naturally pulled Jungkook into his embrace, resting his head on the younger's head. Taehyung closed his eyes, savoring the moment.

He didn't care that countless eyes were on him; probably wondering why these two boys are hugging each other in the middle of the pathway.

He didn't care that the members were now far ahead of them; probably clueless that the two of them had stopped.

Taehyung didn't care about anything at the moment. All that mattered is the beautiful human being in his arms.

"T-Tae you can let go now," Jungkook mumbled, head buried in the other's shirt.

"Sorry," V released, smiling softly at his lover. He brushed his fingers against Jungkook's cheeks, giggling. "You're so beautiful."

"I know," Jungkook smirked, interlocking his fingers with Taehyung's. "Let's go?"

The elder nodded, letting Jungkook drag him along. His eyes drifted downward, staring at the precious red diamond ring he got for his lover. It fit Jungkook so perfectly.

How long will it take before I'm just a memory to him? Taehyung thought to himself.

"There you are!" Hoseok exclaimed. "We thought we lost you."

"You're the one who ran away!" Taehyung defended.

"I didn't run away." He argued. "I just simply left."

"Yeah, while screaming." Yoongi scoffed.

"Enough!" The manager cut in. "Are we ready to leave?"

"Wait!" Jin stopped. "Where's Namjoon?"

"Last I remember, he was in the reptile house." Jungkook informed.

They scanned the grassy field until a familiar figure came running towards them from the distance. Rap monster stopped, leaning against Jin as he caught his breath.

"I think we should go. What do you guys think? Yes? Okay good. Let's go!" He smiled innocently and walked away at a quick pace.

The members didn't bother to hang back and find out what damage he caused. They left the zoo and walked towards the beach that was a couple of blocks away. The zoo is located in Waikiki, so they were able to walk over the infamous Waikiki beach.

"I love Hawaii. There are literally beaches everywhere." Jimin gleamed.

"Bitches?" Taehyung gasped.

"Beach." Jimin repeated.

"Bitch."

"Beach!"

"Not this again," Jin groaned.

"We're on an island dimwit. Of course there's beaches everywhere. What do you expect?" Suga deadpanned. "And Taehyung. Learn the difference between Beach and Bitch, idiot.."

The younger pouted, linking his arm with Jungkook's. "Yoongi hyung is bullying me Kookie."

"He's probably just irritated because he hasn't had his beauty rest yet." Jungkook comforted.

"Well that won't happen. Suga didn't bring his pillow." Hoseok crossed his arms.

"I have something better than a pillow," Suga grinned, staring at Jimin. The younger male blushed, lowering his head and avoiding eye contact with the elder.

"Okay kiddos, we're here!" The manager rested the cooler down beside a lounge chair that lay under an umbrella. "I'm going to pay for this at the stand while you guys change in the bathroom."

After the members changed in the changing rooms, located in the bathroom, they ran back to the umbrella and dropped off their stuff. Jin, being the mom of the group, made sure that his kids put on their sunscreen before heading out into the water.

Jimin sat on the shoreline, blowing up the inflatable raft. Jungkook took a seat next to him, playfully throwing sand at the other.

"Yah! Stop bothering me!" Jimin growled, throwing sand back him.

"Wae? I want to play!" The maknae giggled, tackling Jimin onto the sand.

"Go play with your boyfriend!" The other grunted, shoving Jungkook to the side.

"Its fiancé, fyi!" The younger stuck out his tongue. "And you're actually pushing me away? That's new."

"And you're actually begging me for attention?" Jimin smrked. "I guess things change."

"Jimin, can I ask you something?" Jungkook's tone suddenly became serious, burying his feet in the sand. "What are you keeping from me?"

"Wha-Huh? I-I'm not keeping anything from you." Jimin answered, surprised.

"You stuttered. I know you're lying." Jungkook frowned. "If you and Hoseok are keeping something from Taehyung and I, you need to stop. You may think you're protecting us, but I think it's better if you just come out and tell us."

Jimin stood up. "I don't know anything." He reached down and grabbed the half-inflated floary. "I suddenly lost interest in this. I'm going swimming."

Jimin dropped the item beside the manager's lounge chair and ran into the water. Jungkook sighed, continuing to bury his feet in the sand. He looked up, watching Taehyung frolic happily in the water with the other hyungs.

Taehyung noticed Jungkook sitting alone on the sand and ran out. "Kookie! Come play!"

"I don't want to." The younger pouted. "You seem happier playing with everyone else."

Taehyung grinned, crawling onto Jungkook. The maknae leaned back, shocked at what his hyung was doing. He tried to move backward but forgot that he buried his feet into the sand. Unable to move, he rested his back onto the sand. Taehyung hovered over him, legs and arms on either side of his body.

"I was only pretending to be happy so I can make you jealous." Taehyung whispered into Jungkook's ear. "Why were you trying to catch Jimin's attention? I saw you tackle him."

"I was just asking him a question." Jungkook gulped. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't slightly turned on by Taehyung's dominance.

"Hm. Question huh?" Taehyung huskily chuckled, sending shivers down Jungkook's body. "I don't want to see you getting so close to him again, understand?"

The younger nodded. Taehyung leaned down; planting small kisses on the younger's exposed collarbones.

"What do you two think you're doing?!" The manager yelled, standing up from his lounge chair. "We're on a public beach! Get off of him Taehyung!"

Jungkook pushed Taehyung off and pulled his feet out from under the sand. "Nice going Tae! You made us get scolded by manager hyung!"

Taehyung laughed. "That hasn't stopped us before!"

"Shut up!" The younger pouted.

"Hey! Stop flirting with each other and get in the water!" Namjoon shouted.

Jungkook sprinted into the water with Taehyung trailing behind. Namjoon and Jin were swimming around on their own while Yoongi stole the lounge chair from their manager, claiming that he needs it more. The manager sat on his towel, contemplating on why he continues to love these boys.

Jimin swam beside Hoseok, grabbing onto his hyung's inflatable raft. "I thought you said you talked to Taehyung."

"I did." Hoseok answered.

"And?"

"He needs time." Hoseok informed.

The two watched as the Vkook couple swam happily together; splashing, hugging, and laughing. Hoseok sighed, frustration filling within him. Hoseok and Jimin floated closer to them, trying to listen in on the conversation.

"Jungkook, lets go on a date tomorrow." Taehyung suggested.

"Okay, where?" Jungkook asked, wrapping his arms around Taehyung's neck.

"It doesn't matter. Just as long as I'm with you."

"Sounds good to me." Jungkook answered. Taehyung smiled, leaning closer. He captured the younger's lips, kissing him passionately.

Jimin splashed the couple, breaking the kiss. "My bad." He teased.

"Jimin, you're dead!" Jungkook growled, chasing his hyung around the water.

Taehyung looked at Hoseok who was staring at him worriedly. "I know what you're thinking hyung."

"Taehyung, you're going to make things harder." Jhope sighed. "For the both of you."

"I know what I'm doing!" V argued.

"Tae-"

"Hyung, I made Jungkook a promise the day I proposed to him." Taehyung swam up to Jhope, grabbing onto the floaty. "And I intend to keep that promise! I'm willing to fight."

"Think about it V." Hoseok warned. "I care about you."

Taehyung shook his head. "Don't."

"Babe!"

Taehyung looked towards his lover, watching as Jungkook crawled onto the sand. "Lets make a sand man!"

A smile tugged on his lips, turning back to Hoseok who looked at him confused.

"He's my priority, Hobie. Please understand when I say this," Taehyung continued. "I will protect my Jungkook."
