As your feelings grow stronger so does your fear of losing them

It's almost been a week since V and I worked on project. He doesn't ignore me anymore. Whenever we meet he would just smile and include me in the conversations. Hyemi and her friends also stopped bothering me. But one thing didn't change, every time Kai talks to me Jungkook and V glares at him.

Kai and I passed our first round of selection with second place. We decided to work harder for next round. We submitted the first-round picture as our art project. The only things remaining now are history project and art competition second round. History project has been already done and we are preparing individual essay on it. It was great week indeed.

"Muffin, do you want to come with us today?" I frowned at him. "I have work today" I decided to work on art competition with Kai in his house today. He pouted "really? You are always busy these days" I nodded my head. I felt guilty for not hanging out with them. I mean Jungkook was first friend of mine and he always hang out with me.

"I promise I will come next time" he gave me bunny smile. I saw everyone walking towards me and Jungkook. Jin has his arm around Minjun and telling her something while V, Jimin and Jhope were laughing.

"Let's go guys" Jimin said while Jhope started cheering. He is too loud to be honest. They all decided to hang out in Jia house today. "You are coming with us right?" Jia asked me. "She said she has work today" Jungkook answered before I can. I smiled at them. Everyone got busy with their talks as we walked out of the school.

"Can't you stay for short time" I jumped a bit hearing voice near my neck. I saw V pouting at me. He looks so adorable. God... I shook my head to get those thoughts out. "I am sorry" he nodded with sad expression. "I will try to come if I finish my work early" he looked at me expectantly "will you?" I nodded "I will try to come"

I waved to them as they have to opposite way. I looked at V who was signalling me like come if I am done early. I nodded my head and was about turn but suddenly my vision got blurry. I couldn't see clearly and my head was throbbing. I tried to grab something to stand but nothing was in my reach and I fell seconds later. The last thing I heard someone calling my name.

HANA

One week before

This was the first time I came to this place. I know my dad works here but I don't know who they are and what they do. They looked kind of intimidating but I didn't show any emotion on my face. At the end of corridor, they turned right and signalled her to walk in to the room.

I took a deep breath before knocking on the door. I heard a faint come in and opened the door. Those men left the place as I walked inside the room. I curiously waited for the person to speak. What possibly he could need from a girl like me.

"I am sure you are curious to why you are here" he turned around in the chair. I didn't answer him due to the nervousness. "I need you to keep an eye on someone and report back to me" he walked up to the closet and opened a file.

He pulled out a picture and throws it on the table. I gasped at the familiar face. It was my only friend. Y/n. "You have to move to her school and keep an eye on her" Even though we are not best friends she always helped me when needed. I can't do that to her.

"I can't do that" I was about to leave but his next words made me freeze. "If you don't your father will pay for it" I can't let anything happen to my father. In the end I agreed to help him.

Now

I walked in unfamiliar hallways looking for familiar face. I have to go through lot of formalities which made me miss all of my classes today. He made sure I got the same classes as Y/n. It seems like principal already know about her condition. I know why she has to move out and all. But I don't know who this guy is blackmailing me.

My dad was working with Y/n family before their death and I know that bastard who killed them. But I don't know who the guy is blackmailing me. I have to find more information on so that I can save them.

I gave up on searching for her. School ended few minute before and I don't think she will stay long in the school knowing her. I can meet her tomorrow in the class anyway. I turned around but lost in the crowd. "Excuse me can you tell me how to get to the main gate?" I asked a girl who looked bit friendly. "Sure. I am going that way too" she smiled and walked ahead. I followed her quietly and did my best to remember the way.

I am very bad when it came to routes. I sighed remembering the times I got lost due this. I sighed in relief when I spotted the similar gate I entered morning. This school is freaking big. "Thank you" I thanked her before making my way out. I stopped in my tracks when I heard familiar name.

"Y/n" a group of girls and boys ran toward the girl who was lying on the ground. No way. It can't be her. I made my way hesitantly toward the crowd. I pushed two boys out of the way before crouching down to see the face of the girl. It was her.

"Hey what happened?" I shook her slightly but she didn't respond. I took her bag which lying next to her and searched for the medicine but I couldn't find anything. Don't tell me she is not taking her medication. "We have to take her to hospital" I told the boy who was holding her in his arms. He nodded his head.

"Jin bring the car" the boy I assume Jin left right away. He pulled his car near where we were. The boy who was holding Y/n carried her in his arms. He placed her in the back seat and sat holding her head. Before I can get in car two other girls got in and the same boy looked at me.

"I will come in my car" I told him before walking to parking area near the gate. Three more guys came with asking if they could come with me. I agreed with that. Soon we all piled up in car and made our way to hospital. One of the boys gave me the directions and we entered the hospital.

I made my way to reception. "Y/n" she checked the register. "Room no 301" I hurriedly made my way to lift and waited anxiously. When the door opened I walked to the room and saw same boy waiting outside. "How is she?" he looked up from his seat "I don't know" I took seat next to him waiting for doctor.

How can she be so stupid? She knows she has to take her medicine any cost. Soon a doctor came out of her room. "How is she?" this boy seems to be close to her. "She is fine for now. Is she taking her medicine?" they looked confused.

"I don't think so" he turned to me before nodding his head. "I will give some prescription. Make sure she takes it" I smiled at him "Thank you" he left soon telling her we can visit her. Everyone went in right way to her room. They were all asking her how she is and how scared they were watching her.

I decided to give her some time with them before revealing myself. I backed away and sat in one of the chairs waiting for them to come out. "Aren't you going inside?" I saw the boy who gave directions and came with me. "I will go later" we didn't speak to each other. I took this time to see him properly. He is taller than me and he has cute eye smile. He was handsome I must say that. "I am Jimin" he got up from seat and turned to me. "I will see you around I guess" I nodded confirming him. "I am Hana"

He smiled before walking away in the hallway. I waited for few more minutes before entering her room. All her friends were still there. It seems like they wont leave. I hesitantly knocked the door before entering.

Y/N

(few minutes earlier)

I woke up to beeping sound. I looked around and saw white walls. I know where I am right away. Hospital. All the memories rushed to me from the school before I fainted. "How are you feeling?" I turned to my right and saw Dr. Park. "I have been better" he chuckled at my answer. "If you take your medicine timely you would be" I sheepishly smiled. "I forgot to take today"

"Make sure to take medicine" he left after checking the monitor once again. I waited patiently for all of them to come in. I know they might have lot of doubts about what happened. "Y/n" soon I was embraced the arms of Minjun and Jia. They both were worried. I smiled gladly before returning the hug. When they let go of me I saw the boys. They asked me if I am alright and what happened. I told them I am fine and before I can answer other question a knock interrupted us.

I never expected to see her here at this moment. She should be at back home not in Seoul. "Hana, what are you doing here?" she walked to me hesitantly before wrapping her arms around me. "I was scared when I saw you like that" I patted her back before she let go of me. She sniffed a bit and I motioned her to sit in the empty chair next to bed.

"I joined your school and saw you outside like-" she couldn't finish. I patted her back before assuring her I am fine. "Who is she?" I looked at Jungkook. "Guys meet my friend Hana. She used to go to same school as me back home" I introduced all of them but I couldn't find Jimin. He must be with his sister.

"what happened to you anyway?" Hana glanced at me nervously before looking at V. "I fainted I guess?" he frowned at my answer. "why did you faint suddenly?" Jungkook asked me this time. "Nothing guys. I was feeling headache from few days and was given medication" I glanced around hoping they would buy it. "Doctor told me it is due to stress and I forgot to take medicine today"

"How did you know about her health when you were not here?" I got pissed at V question. Is it some kind of interrogation going now? "I told her when she called me last week" Hana nodded her head confirming my words. "I called and wanted to surprise her by coming here but she surprised me more"

I apologized to Hana and after some stupid questions V finally let it slide. They all stayed till visiting hours were over. Jimin came in when others left and just told me to be careful. I felt happy that he doesn't hate me anymore. Hana, V and Jungkook stayed with me until halmoni came. 

"I was so scared" she hugs me once they left the room. "I am not going anywhere halmoni" I hugged her back and she sniffled bit. "Promise to take care of yourself properly" I smiled before nodding. "I have a lot to do I won't die anytime soon" I chuckled a bit trying to lighten the situation. I am not going to die before I change these boys.
