You don't know the value of someone until you lose it

NAMJOON

I left everything and came here first thing when I heard about Y/n is missing. He was one step ahead me this time. I should have asked her to come few days back. It was my fault I couldn't save her. I sat in the taxi it drove past the familiar streets once I used to run around on. I can't believe everything changed just in few years. I can't lose her not after everything we have been through. I still can't forget that night.

FLASHBACK

"Namjoon oppa where are you?" I couldn't hear her properly since the music was blasting from speakers. "I am in club why?" I could hear her annoying sigh other side of the line. "we were supposed to have dinner to celebrate today" I slapped my forehead for forgetting important thing. It was my parent's anniversary today and we always have dinner together this day.

"I will be there in thirty minutes. Cover for me please" she hang up after agreeing. I gave a peck to girl who has been keeping company for all evening and left after telling Mark about the dinner. I drove praying I will reach on time otherwise mom will kill me for missing this. She may look like those cool moms but when she gets angry she is very scary.

I parked the car outside the gate as the watchman didn't open the gate. Something looks suspicious. I walked slowly to the gate and the sight made me freeze. I grabbed his hand and checked the pulse. He is dead. Shot in head twice. Someone was here. I ran inside the house hoping they will be fine. Living room was full of blood. Tens of people were laying on the ground dead. I slowly made my way to the kitchen.

"Mom" I ran to the two figures holding them in my arms. "Please wake up" I couldn't believe it. They were dead. Mom was shot twice in the stomach and dad was shot in the chest. "Please wake up. You can't die" I looked at dad when I heard him groan. "Dad... dad" I kept calling him trying to get him to look at me. "Namjoon go" he pointed to upstairs. "Save Y/n" he whispered before closing his eyes.

"Dad" I shook him but he didn't respond. I ran upstairs still crying. The similar sight welcomed me. "Y/n" I opened her room door and found her laying on the ground near her bed. "Hey wake up" her face was covered with blood and she wasn't breathing. Please don't leave me. Not you too. I can't leave without you all. I kept sobbing holding her close. Only if I was here I could have saved you.

"Y/n" I shook her when I heard her breathing. I checked her pulse and it was there. She is alive. I called the ambulance and she was taken to surgery. I sat outside operation theatre praying god to let her live. "What happened?" I looked up and Mark gave me a hug while I was crying on his shoulder. I can't live if I lose her too. "She will be fine Namjoon" we both waited for god know how long. "How is she doctor?" I asked when doctor came out of the room.

"We couldn't remove the bullet as it is very near to her brain. Moving it might damage her brain and she might die too. We did a surgery to prevent it from moving. I will write medication to ease the pain but she might get migraines and if it is too much of stress she could die too" I thanked doctor before visiting her. "What are we gonna do?" I looked at Mark emotionlessly. "We will make sure she is safe. That's all" I promised dad that I will save her. It could be from Yoongi or this pain I will make sure she is safe.

END OF FLASHBACK

I sent her to live with halmoni and took care of the deals back home. I was going to bring her back when I make sure Yoongi is taken care of. But he beat me to it. I won't let those bastards take her away from me. "Sir we are here" I got out of the taxi thanking before walking in to the house.

"What happened?" I asked the first thing when I entered the house. Hana told me everything what has been happening in Y/n life. She told me about her friends, Jackson and some guy named Jaebum too. I heard this guy is working for Jackson. "Have you tried locating them?" he nodded telling me about what they got so far. Apparently, he left the town and others we couldn't locate.

"What about your friends?" Hana glanced at me nervously. I know she is not comfortable around me but I don't have any other choice either. "he didn't reply to me yet" she said earning a nod from me. Mark got out when we heard door bell. I kept thinking about how to find out about their location. Y/n phone also was unable to locate.

**skip to the part till last chapter**

"I think he is keeping her in the warehouse" I looked at the kid who was sitting in front of me. From the looks of it he seems to be the leader of this team. "Where is that?" I asked him not wanting to waste any time. "Outside the town" the boy who I hit said this time. After listening to everything he seems to be more mad. "what are we waiting for then?" same boy who spoke earlier stopped Mark before he can get up. "Its not that easy. He is guarding the place well"

"So do you expect us to sit and watch" he shook his head as saying no. "He know what you are capable of and he is prepared. We have to make a plan first" taller guy said this time. He seems to be the old one in the group as he was holding them down. "what is the plan then?" Hana asked making us all look at us. I know she is worried for Y/n and blame herself but I can't put her in danger.

"You are staying here until we come" she frowned trying to disagree but she shut her mouth after seeing the look I am giving her. "He sent a package for you" same boy who I came to know Taehyung passed me a square box. I opened the box and looked at the piece of paper inside it.

I won

I crumbled the letter throwing it away. He is trying to provoke me by sending me this. "How many people are going to be there?" I had to get there before he does something to Y/n. He has changed a lot and he is capable of going to measures of killing her too. "Probably around fifty members right now" boy whom I hit got pulled out his phone pointing to a map. "This is the map of warehouse"

"I can get you guys there" the first guy whom I came to know as Taehyung said looking at me and Mark. "We don't have much time to wait for others. If he knows I got this he will kill her" I have to move with what I have right now. "I will call others for back up" Mark pulled his phone out calling others. Meanwhile I discussed the plan with others. I finally came to know all of their names too.

"We have three entries for warehouse. I will go from the back with Hoseok and Jimin. Jungkook and Jin will enter from right side with Mark" I looked at others who nodded understanding the plan. "Taehyung, you have to distract them" he would distract Yoongi and others while we search for Y/n. That's the plan. Hopefully everything goes as planned.

I grabbed some guns from the guest bedroom and passed them to boys. I kept them here when I first visited before she came here. "Try not to use the gun much. It could cause the commotion" they all nodded. "Stay home and keep this with you just in case" I passed a gun to Hana and she looked so scared holding it. "We will be back with her" I stepped aside when Jimin approached us. I came to know that they are dating. So, I gave them some privacy.

"Whoever gets Y/n first leave the place no matter what happens" I won't let Yoongi live this time. We piled up in to two cars and drove to the place. He stopped the car few minutes away from warehouse. Taehyung will go alone and talk to Yoongi while we enter from the back and right side of the building. I signalled to Jungkook and Mark. They left with Jin trailing behind them.

I signalled to Hoseok and Jimin and walked in to the building. We hid behind the wall and Jimin looked in. He pointed three fingers to the right side and middle. I signalled him as saying I will handle the right side. He nodded and I grabbed the man when I saw his shadow near me. I twisted his neck punching him in the stomach. He fell to the ground making a sound and other one came to pulling his gun out. I dodged him before grabbing his hand to stop him from shooting and gave him a punch on his jaw knocking him out.

I turned around and saw Jimin took care of other one. We further walked in the room and saw the stairs. "Yoongi is on the first floor" I looked around checking for another route. "How many floors are there?" Hoseok answered me this time. "Three" I scanned my surroundings and saw emergency exit. "Let's use that and search from floor three" we slowly made our way to stairs and walked upstairs. I could hear the sound of people talking but it sounded so far.

It was quite on the third floor. I can see lot of rooms and it seems no one was on this floor. "Let's spread and check the rooms" they nodded entering the random rooms carefully. We searched almost fifteen minutes but no sight of her. "I think she is not on this floor" Jimin sighed disappointed. I pulled my phone messaging others about third floor. I got message from Mark instantly.

"Others are on the second floor and it sounds they have lot of people on that floor" I told them reading the complete message. "We should go and help them" we walked to second floor. We saw five men approaching us and their eyes widened when they observed us. I took two strides before punching first guy on the face and dodged another one's punch. I twisted his arm behind his back and slammed his head on the wall.

I turned to help others but they managed to knock down others. "Good. Let's go" they huffed before dragging all the unconscious men into an empty room. We met others hallway on the second floor. "Got anything?" Jin shook his head. "we searched all the rooms till now but didn't find her" I sighed "Mark went to check the first floor just now" we decided to look at remaining rooms just in case they missed something.

The thought of losing her was making me crazy and I couldn't process my mind properly. I looked at those boys and saw them worried. I felt happy to know she got amazing friends who are ready to lose their lives for her. She must have been happy here with all these people. "Stop" Jungkook who was leading in front stopped making us all bump in to each other.

He pointed to the last room and signalled to keep quiet. Out of curiosity I peeked over Jin and saw Yoongi. He looked stressed and worried. It might be hard for others to read him but he has been my best friend for so long so I know him like back of my hand. Looking at him made me more worried about Y/n. I waited anxiously until he left the place in the lift.

I could have beat him there but I don't want to risk Y/n safety. We all quickly walked in side the room he left. The sight in front of me made me freeze. It can't happen. Not again. In the room Y/n was laying on the ground unconscious with blood around her like pool. She was shot in the stomach. "Let's get her out of here" others were trying to check her pulse and taking her out but I couldn't do anything. All the scenarios were running in my mind making me crazy.

"Namjoon, we have to leave" Jin said pulling me up. He shook me hard making me look at him. "She is still breathing. We have to take her to hospital" I looked at her limp form in Jungkook arms. "Take her to hospital safely" I kissed her forehead before walking other way. I am going to kill him today.
