It's hard asking someone with a broken heart to fall in love again

Y/N:

Today is Friday. I have to inform V about the project. I am not going to do the whole project for that idiot. He has to do his part of work in project. I am not going to lose marks because of him. I made my way to cafeteria. When I reached there I saw all of them at our table. Hoseok was with a girl who was facing her back to me. She was wearing a yellow summer dress. She has blonde hair and seemed tall. Hoseok looked so happy since his girlfriend is back. I went there and gave Minjun hug.

"Y/n" I heard someone call me. I turned around to see one of my best friends. "Jia" I yelled and hugged her. She laughed and hugged me back. We both were jumping like five years old kid.

"You two know each other?" we turned around to see confused expressions on everyones faces. I nodded and sat between Jungkook and Jia. "How?" Jungkook was more curious than anyone else. "She used to come here every summer to visit her Halmoni. At that time we were her neighbours. We used to hang out together" I smiled at the memories.

"Why didn't you answer my calls all this time?" she pretends to be angry but I can see concern in her voice. I missed her a lot. Even when I am not visiting them I used to Skype with her. But after the incident I haven't talked to her. "Sorry. I was busy" she doesn't know what happened and I am not ready to tell her either. "I am still mad at you" she crossed her arms over her chest. I grinned knowing how to convince her.

"Let's go to the mall tomorrow and have lunch. It's on me" she squealed and said yes. She loves shopping so much. "You sure know how to convince her" Hoseok said tapping a finger to his chin as he was thinking. "I think I should take your help sometimes." V was sitting beside Hoseok. He had this bored expression on his face. Yesterday he was smiling and he even kissed me. Now he is back to ignoring me again.

"How is your boyfriend?" V's head snapped towards Jia. All of them were watching me with curiosity and I rolled my eyes at her "Mark is not my boyfriend Jia." She chuckled a bit and said "it's fun to mess with you both." I took a bite of food before saying "He is in college now." her eyes widened in surprise. "I never thought out of all people he will make it" I chuckled. "I know right. I was shocked too"

Mark was never interested in studies. He would say he won't go to college and my mom would give him lecture about how studies are important. Mark was always with me wherever we go. It's like he is part of our family. When I was in middle school I had lot of friends but when I entered high school all the girls have crush on my brother. They befriend me to meet my brother and Mark. So, I decided to hang out with boys mostly.

He never trusted me with boys anyway but Mark was different to him. He always trusted Mark with me. I still don't know why? Speaking of Mark I haven't called from the day I came here. I miss him. I hope everything is okay there. 

I should call him once and check on them. I need to ask if they had any progress on finding him. If they find him I can go back sooner than I expected. 

"Y/n are you here?" I snapped out of my thoughts and realized I must have zoned out. Everyone was looking at me with worried since I was looking sad. "Yeah I am fine. Just lost in thought" I mentally marked to call Mark today. "We are all going to arcade later. Are you coming?"

"Sure. I will come" we turned to listen to conversation happening. Jia was telling them about us. I smiled and sat beside her. Everyone was involved in conversation except V. He was just avoiding me. What's up with him? One day he is rude and next he is sweet and now he is avoiding me.

"You are coming with us today?" Hosoek asked me this time. I nodded "I am coming" soon we all got busy in our conversations. I never got the chance to speak with V alone. I have history class with him. He did come but he hasn't talked to me yet.

"I will pick you at 6'o clock. Be ready" Jia told me. She went with Hoseok. Minjun and Jin went together. Jungkook offered to drop me but I said no. I should buy my own vehicle. I can't be third wheel to them. Few months after the death of my parents I got in to an accident. From then halmoni got over protective. She rejected me to buy my own car. I have to convince her. My poor baby (my BMW car) might be staying in my garage back in America.

"Y/n is that you?" I walked in to the kitchen. "Hi halmoni" she was cocking something while talking on her phone. a video call. She signaled me to come. "She is here with me" I furrowed my brows. Who is she talking to? "Just a minute I will give the phone to her" she handed me the phone "Mark want to speak with you"

My face brightened when I heard her say Mark. "Hey Mark" I already messaged him that I want to talk to him. "Hi girl" Mark looks same tall and fit with laid back personality and charming smile. He has large number of girls crushing on him. Mark is a player like my brother. They hate relationships. They always say that they have too much love to give only one person. So fair enough they are spreading it equal to all the girls. Weird isn't it?

"Is everyone okay there?" as I said that his million dollar smile vanished. "I don't know whether it's ok or not. We are working hard for it." I sighed heavily. "I wish I could do more"

"I miss being there. I miss you all" I was on the verge to cry as my eyes filled with tears.

"Hey everything will be okay soon. Trust me you will be back in no time" I sniffed "I really hope so" we both were silent for a while. "I had a dream about that day" I got Mark complete attention with that sentence. "I noticed something Mark like he knows what he is doing is wrong" he shook his head in disagreement. "He wasn't worth it. You made mistake trusting him. We all did. Don't take it to your heart." I was crying silently he was just looking at me unaware of what to do. He sighed and broke the silence.

"Enough of this. Tell me about your new life" he was grinning from ear to ear now. I laughed "well I do meet few friends here. Hey Jia is in my class to. She asked me about you" Mark face lit up. "Really...That's cool. Did you tell her about everything?" I shook my head. I couldn't and won't tell to a single soul what I am going through. "Any boys you are interested in?" V came to my mind right away.

"Nope not so far" I heard someone call him in the back. "I have to go. I will call you later" I nodded "ok. love you" "love you too. Bye" my screen went black.  At least they are all fine. I am glad to hear that.

I got ready and saw the time. It's 5:40 now. I am ready to go. I still have time so I sat on sofa watching TV. I heard doorbell ring. I know who it is. Jia. "Halmoni I am leaving" I yelled and went outside. We both hopped in car and drove to café.

THIRD PERSON POV

She looked around as she walked in to the building. People were all armed with guns and weapons. They looked kind of intimidating to her but she didn't show any emotion on her face. She walked behind as two large men with guns guide her in to the long corridor. At the end of corridor, they turned right and signaled her to walk in to the room.

She took a deep breath before knocking on the door. She heard a faint come in and she opened the door. Those men left the place as she walked inside the room. She curiously waited for the person to speak. What possibly he could need from a girl like her.

"I am sure you are curious to why you are here" he turned around in the chair and gave her a beautiful smile. No one would believe this guy is the scariest person when he is mad. She couldn't come up with any answer due to the nervousness. "I need you to keep an eye on someone and report back to me" he walked up to the closet and opened a file.

He pulled out a picture and throw it on the table. She gasped at the familiar face. It was her friend. Y/n. "you have to move to her school and keep an eye on her" she couldn't lie to her friend. Even though they are not best friends Y/n always helped her when needed. She possibly can't betray and lie someone who is nice to her.

"I can't do that" he smirked at her before walking around her like she is his prey. "you do know that your father works for me right?" she stiffened realizing the threat. She can't let anything to her dad. "Why me?" he smiled. "simple you are her friend. She won't get any doubt" After thinking for a while she agreed to work for him.

"You just have to make sure she stays there until I find the right time" she couldn't believe she is going to do this. "If anything unusual happens you have to inform me right away" she agreed and left with a heavy heart.
