I didn't choose you my heart did

"Hi Y/n" Kai ran to catch up with me as I put all my books in the locker. "Hey" I said once he stood next to me. It is lunch time now. "Did you enjoy the party?" I looked at him intently. Does he remember anything he did yesterday in the party. His question reminded me of all the things happened yesterday including V and the small fight we had but I shrugged it off. "I did" I replied keeping all the details out of it. We both walked to lunch room together. 

I can't find Minjun as I looked at our regular table. V and Jimin were the only one there. It won't be good idea to sit with him now. I was scared to even look at him after what happened yesterday. Jimin is not so found of me either. May be I should ask Kai to let me sit with them.

"Would you like to sit with us today?" Kai beat me to and offered to sit. I blinked my eyes in confusion. "I would like to" he looked up to meet my gaze. He looked surprised to hear my answer. "Really?" I nodded and he guided me to their table. "Hey everyone I brought a friend" Kai said and introduced them to me. There were three people at the table.

"This is Taemin, Sehun and Naeun" I smiled and sat beside Kai. "Hi. I am Y/n" Sehun shook my hand. Taemin and Naeun waved. "I heard you came from abroad?" I looked at Sehun. "Yes. I live with my halmoni here" they told me about some funny stories happened in the school which involves Kai. "Who do you sit with at lunch usually?" Naeun asked me. "Minjun and her friends" her eyes widened "you mean with Taehyung and his friends?" I nodded my head and asked them why she is so shocked. 

"They don't let anyone join them. They like to keep it to themselves. They are very closed off group" Sehun informed me this time. "They are also part of the gang. We heard they deal with drugs and killed few people too" I looked at them a bit confused. I overheard Jin talking to Jungkook about being in gang once but about the killing part I don't think so. No one really knows the truth. But if they don't let anyone join them then why did they let me join?

"Then why do you hang out with them?" they all shrugged. "We don't want to be their enemies" I stopped thinking before I get headache. I changed the topic before it gets more awkward. "Friday party was at your house right?" even though I went to party I didn't met him. All because of that stupid V. "It was and I saw you with Jungkook there" Naeun answered me before Taemin can. He smiled and kissed her forehead. It was obvious they are dating.

"Thank you" I told Kai. The lunch was really fun. They all are carefree and good people. "You are always welcome to sit with us" I nodded and made my way to locker. I was taking some books which I need for history class. Someone was knocking on my locker door. I looked out from my locker. I saw V leaning on the lockers arms crossed over his his chest with a smirk on his face. He was too close for my liking. So I stepped back and looked at him. 

"What?" he chuckled at my reaction. I guess I sounded too nervous. "I came to apologize" Wait. Did I hear right? He wants to apologize to me. That's strange. I can't believe him. "For what?" he annoyed me more than once and I need to know for which part he wants to say sorry and if he is really sorry. "For everything. We just started off bad. I have been treating you badly but I am not that bad. I think we need to start again as friends" I raised an eye brow at the word friends.

Seriously he thinks I will be his friend. I am sure he is planning something for what I did yesterday. But I am not going to fall for his games though. "ok. I accept your apology but about being friends you have to show me you are not bad" Let me see what he is up to.

"Cool. How about dinner tonight?" I raised an eyebrow and said "so you want me to go on a date with you?" he shook his head. "Not a date. Consider it as treat for my apology" I know he is up to something. I won't fall for his stupid plans. "I am bust today so how about no" I closed my locker and walked away from him. I looked back only to find him smiling like an idiot standing there watching me. I ignored him and went to class. As I entered the class I saw Kai. There are few empty seat in his row. He smiled signalling me to sit beside him.

"Hey Kai" he flashed me a smile. We both were speaking until I heard someone clear their throat. I turned to see V glaring at Kai. What is his problem? He sat beside me and he tried to speak with me but I turned to Kai hoping he will get the message. He never spoke to me before so why now?

After going home I made myself busy with homework. It took me bit more today since I got an essay from teacher which is due in two days. I thought it would be better to finish early. When I finished my work I went to downstairs to eat something. But I just stood there shocked at the sight in front of me. "What are you doing here?" V was cocking in my kitchen. How did he come in to house? "I am preparing dinner for us" he smiled and continued his work.

He was wearing blue stripped jeans with plain t-shirt and apron on it. This boy is really weird. He still scares me though. I realized I have been staring him so I walked out of the kitchen before he make fun of me.

I saw halmoni setting everything on the dining table for three of us. "Have you finished your work?" I took plates from her hands and started placing them on table. "Yeah, you didn't tell me about him" I pointed my finger towards the kitchen.

"He said not to disturb you, you were too busy with work. So he prepared dinner for you." V brought the pan and placed it on the table. "You know he is the son of KyungHee" I nodded. "I met her few days back" I told her about flowers order and meeting his mom.

I don't want to make any scene in front of halmoni so I just pretended to be happy and nice towards V. We all finished dinner. I placed the plates in sink. "I will rest in my room. Call me if you need anything" I nodded. "Nice to see you Taehyung~ah" she told him happily before going.

"Its pleasure to meet you madam" I rolled my eyes. "Oh just call me Halmoni" he smiled showing his adorable boxy smile. Halmoni went upstairs to her room. "Why did you come to my house and how do you know where I live?" I asked V. He jumped on to sofa in the living room. "Nice way to say thanks" I rolled my eyes. I went to sit on the other one. "You said you are busy and you can't go out so I thought I can bring dinner to home. I have my ways to know your details"

"Very thoughtful" I said sarcastically referring to dinner part. "Thanks and nice house" he smiled showing his rectangular box smile. Not again. Can't he see I was using sarcasm back there? "I know it is. Now you can leave since dinner is over" I can't stand him. "So fast, I know it's hard to stay away from me when I am in front of you" he smirked. No he didn't say that. "In your dreams V" he is annoying me now. "It happens every day in my dreams" I rolled my eyes. God he is so annoying.

He walked to me I stepped back a bit scared. It repeated until my back hit the wall. He leaned closer and I closed my eyes tightly turned my head to side. I thought he is going to kiss me. "Good night princess" he whispered huskily in my ear making me shiver slightly and kissed my cheek. With that he left but I stood there dazed.

He left five minutes ago I just stood in the same place thinking.

Did he call me princess?

What's with him today? .

What I am thinking. I can't risk this. Not now. Get a grip on yourself idiot. I went to my room and changed into pj's. My head hit the pillow with his thoughts. He was different today. He never talked to me in the last week. Why now? He is confusing me. I let a scream out into pillow. No I won't think about him.
