Great thing about new friends is that they bring new energy to your soul.

Y/N:

No one or anything makes my mind busy anymore. I couldn't stop crying and my head started hurting. I know it is bad to stress in my situation but I can't help it. I went to the living room to drink water and out of habit I checked my phone.

Then I realized no one is going to call or message me. Now I am all alone in the house. Nanny went to nursery. It's not like she has to work for survive. We have more than enough money but six years ago when my grandpa died due to lung cancer. My mom tried to convince her to move in with us.

But she never agreed to that and she said "I want to live in this house in the town" so she can feel his presence even though he is not there. It holds a lot of memories of her and grandpa. This place also holds a lot of memories for my mom and now mine too.

Nursery is part of grandma life too because grandpa used to take care of plants and that's how I think she is doing the things in the place of her love. After grandfather death she started growing flower plants and sell them. So the love can be spread through her flowers to others.

Instead of locking myself in home I took my camera and headed out to get some fresh air. I went to same park yesterday. It was too crowded because of weekend. I started taking pictures randomly which caught my eye. Kids were playing basketball and a couple was playing with their kids.

I took a lot of pictures and it feels so good to capture their happiness and memories. In the end it is the only thing you will be left with. I took as many as pictures as possible. I started walking deep into the park. It was surrounded with big trees now. I walked further and found a familiar pound. It has the lotus flowers which were floating on the water.

It was too beautiful and my legs ached in pain so I went up to near bench and sat. I massaged my legs but suddenly an unforgettable memory flashed in my brain. I went their looking for that particular tree it then I saw carving on the tree. I remember the carving. I did it when I visited nanny in my childhood.

I sat there watching the beautiful sky. When I was a kid I used to come here to play. It holds lot of my memories which I can't have now. Wish I can turn the time and live it again.

We call them sweet memories because we can't live them again. If it happens every day it won't be a memory to us.

"Hey...See this" I jumped from rock to see what my brother doing. He wrote our names on the tree with knife.

Friends forever

"Wow this is cool" I gave him a toothy smile.

"Mark see this he wrote our names" Mark was foot taller than me and he was two years older than me just like my brother.

He gave high five to my brother.

"It looks good. Let's play hide and seek"

"Sure who will seek?" we looked at each other. "Jia" we all screamed and ran away before she can protest.

Jia used to hate this game. I ran all the way and behind a rock near the lake. I am the best at this and they never found me. We played for a while. She caught Mark then oppa.

"K, come out. We can't find you" I giggled but didn't come out. "You win. I give up" "yay" I started jumping up and down. They all laughed at my eagerness.

A smile formed on my face at the memory. I miss them. But I left them and came here. After this I will go back and I will join the local university and stay at home.

It's been amazing watching full moon and stars. Though only few stars are visible in the sky. The full moon was dominating the little stars. The place refreshes my happy moments. I don't know how long I stayed there until my phone started vibrating indicating a call.

"Hello?" I said

"Y/n where are you?" She sounds angry, no good I thought

"Just came for a walk, nanny" at least I kept my mind busy so I can't be stressed as doctor said.

"Do you know what time it is?" I must keep track on my time.

"Sorry, I will be there in 15min" I hung up and saw the time. Oh s***T! It's already 11pm. I definitely have to give some explanation to nanny. I hope I won't get any drunken people on my way or street dogs to make me scare. The darkness is not what scares me but the people who roam on the road in the darkness.

I have seen way more real incidents to think it is only in books and movies. But usually in them a boy like a knight in armor comes to save them but it doesn't happen in real lives. I was walking too fast and turned a corner and 'bam' I bumped into someone.

I almost fall to the ground but someone caught me and I heard a glass breaking sound. In process to catch me he dropped the bottle which was in his hand I guess. Bottle shattered into pieces and I stared at him. I have my both arms holding his shirt tightly and his one arm was on my waist and another on my shoulder. I don't know how but I was caught in something I couldn't move. I can't see his face clearly but he looked good and somehow familiar. He was staring at me too.

"Sorry" he was still holding me in his arms as he looked at the floor then at me. "Can't you see when you are walking?" he angrily dropped me. It broke my trance and anger rushed through my body.

"What the hell?" I removed dirt from my dress and stood up. "You broke it?" he was referring to bottle. He was already drunk and I don't want to make any stupid fight with that idiot now I am already late. "I am really sorry" he grabbed my wrists harshly.

"Leave before I get mad" seriously he can get worse than this. 'Such a jerk' and I don't want to make my nanny worried so I started walking before getting into trouble again. My house came into view and I sighed in relief. Thank god. When I entered the house nanny was standing in front of me with her arms crossed.

"I am sorry, I didn't noticed the time" she looked very angry. This is the first time I have seen her get this angry. Of course she would be angry after everything. Everyone treats me like a broken porcelain doll. It annoys me sometime but I understand their worry. "Next time don't leave without telling me" I nodded and made my way to my room. It's been a horrible day. Fight with some unknown guy was enough but nanny was angry at me too. It couldn't have worse. I hope tomorrow will go fine cause it's my first day in school.

I woke up and slammed hard on the alarm clock "I hate you" I shouted loudly so she can hear. Damn nanny how can she put an alarm clock to wake me up early. Now at least I won't be late to school cause today is my first day in school. I am not good with meeting new people now a days. This made me nervous. I took a quick shower and got dressed. I let my hair loose. Nanny dropped me at the school.

I slowly made my way to office room. I knocked on the door before entering the office room. "Hello sir, I am Y/n new student" I said nervously waiting for his reply. He smiled and handed me my schedule. "Y/n. Nice to meet you" he took of his glasses. He does seem like one of the cool principal with his looks and a friendly smile but who knows looks can be deceiving.

"If you have any problem in school feel free to inform me" I smiled and said "yes". Nanny said principal knew about me completely but whether teachers know or not  I don't know. she didn't tell me about it. 

This place is supposed to be a new starting in my life. I tend to keep it that way. When I came out of room a lady was there "Follow me" she said and walked not even waiting for me or even glance at me to see whether I'm following her or not. She was dressed very formal and was in her mid thirties. All the nervousness came back as she walked me to my class. She handed a note to teacher in the class. 

He seems to be in his early thirties. He read the note and said "class we have a new student. Ms. Y/n". Everyone clapped and few boys were winking at me. I blushed at being the center of attention. "Tell us something about yourself Ms. Y/n" I glanced at students in room

Now I can hear my own heartbeat sound because of my nervous and class became silent for my introduction "well my name is Y/n. I am from Arizona. I like photography" he smiled and said "Go and take your seat" he said pointing to a empty seat. I nodded and took a seat in third row. I saw a girl next to my right side.

"Hi I am Minjun" she have brown eyes and her brown hair was in small curls falling past her shoulders. She seemed very excited. "Hey" I waved to her. We worked on some story. It wasn't that interesting. I zoned out most of the class thinking.

I don't do gym which I am glad for. Nanny made special note not to add gym class. Since they already know the reason they agreed on some conditions. They said I must have to choose an extracurricular activity since I am not taking gym class. I am not in to drama or music so I chose photography. I always love the idea of capturing the memories.

We both went to our lockers. Her locker is on second floor. She went upstairs. Mine is on the first floor but I lost my way. Minjun offered to show me around but we don't have much time so I refused her politely but regretted later. I should have accepted her help. They are giant halls with lot of people. I don't even have a map. This school is pretty big with lot of rooms. Can't it be small?

"Do you need any help?" I turned to meet a handsome boy. He was around six feet tall and well built. "Um... Yeah. I am new here and I was looking for my locker. Can you tell me where is lockers room" I said looking at the floor embarrassed. I am definitely making myself idiot in front of a hot boy. "It happens to new comers. Come I will show you" he gestured his hand to follow me.

"Are you Y/n?" I nodded awkwardly unaware of how he know. "I was supposed to give you tour" he flashed me a smile as he continued walking. "Are you coming?" he looked back to make sure I am coming. I followed him and he showed me lockers. They are at the end of hall. I made a mental note to myself. After that he showed me few classes.

This school has all facilities and it is almost same as my old school. Trust me I am not bluffing I went to top school back at home. This school has all types of labs and field. Classrooms and art classes are amazing. I am totally in love with our photography class. I am tired of walking now. He noticed that.

"If you are tired I can show around later" I nodded. Finally we are at the fields.

"Don't you have any class now?" I asked him. "No it is my free hour" we both walked up to bench sat down. "Thanks for tour the um....."

"Kai" I smiled and thanked him again.

Time passed quickly. I skipped the calculus class and lunch today. Too tired to walk over there and listen. I wasn't hungry so I went to check the library. Minjun and I became good friends even though it was only one day. She is really nice and we are in same class. She told me she is in the drama club. She has been in the club for last three years. To my surprise Kai is in art club. We both chatted for a while. He also chose photography. He is handsome but something told me he is not a jerk like all the jocks. You know play with girls and dump them. He seemed nice.

I closed the locker door after placing books in it. I turned to see Minjun with a boy. He was tall and handsome. When she saw me she ran toward me. "How was your day?"

"Fine" she frowned "you didn't come to Calculus" I shook my head. "Yeah, got a school tour" she raised her eyebrows in curiosity. "With a boy named Kai" soon her eyes widened "you mean Kim Jongin?" I shrugged. "he told me his name is Kai" "well that is definitely Kim Jongin. He is one of the popular crowds in school" I already guessed it so I brushed it off. "come I will introduce you to my boyfriend" oh so he is her boyfriend.

"Hi I am Jin" he gave me a genuine smile. "Hi nice to meet you I am Y/n" They joined me for a walk to my home. Minjun's house is a block away from mine and Jin had plans with her. I didn't bother to ask. I just met them today. They might feel weird if I ask them. Even though I know Jin for a couple of minutes he seems to be nice guy.

"Where do you live?" I turned back to see Jin. "In the next block couple of minutes from here" they both smiled and Minjun gave me a hug. "See you tomorrow" "Bye guys" 

"Bye"

I kept my walk slow and enjoying weather. "I am home" I yelled but no one responded to me. My voice echoed in the home. I went to kitchen saw a note on the fridge.

I am at nursery. I made some juice and rice with side dishes for you. Be safe

I placed the note on the table and went upstairs to have shower. I waited water to heat before getting in to the shower. The showers are always relaxing. It always takes the stress away. 

I opened the fridge to find juice. I poured some juice in glass and eat food then made myself comfortable on the couch. I switched on T.V. and flipped some channels.

I got nothing interesting to see because all the channels are somewhat different from my old place. I went to my room and realized I haven't unpacked all the stuff yesterday. I just unpacked one box which has clothes. I decided to open and sort remaining boxes. 

It has lot of books. My mom likes to read a lot. When I was kid she always told me the amazing bed time stories. She is reason I got much interest in reading. I arranged all the books in alphabetic order and slept thinking about all the things that could happen in my life now.
