Maia saw us coming. "Lily, nice to see you. Where is K? Did she stay home? Usually you're always together."

"She went missing. We need to find her." With that Maia hugged me tight. Kaitlyn and I spend multiple hours at the Jade Wolf, eating food and drinking Rice Wine.

"Okay you need to tell me everything. When did you last see her? Did she leave a message? How long have you been searching? Why haven't you send me the recipe of the rainbow-cookies yet? How is the hiding-in-the-caskets-of-hotel-dumort-because-of-raphael-mission going?" She shook me with every question.

I shook her back. "Yesterday morning. No. Two hours. Sorry. Don't even ask."

She sighed. "Then up we go. Let me grab some food and then I'll join you. We need to find her. A world without our Kaitlyn would be a pretty boring and sad one."

She stormed inside the building. "Now that she says it... I'd love to eat some Peking Duck again. Haven't had that in a while... Wait, I'm a vampire... I don't eat." Simon chuckled.

"You don't eat ducks. They are filthy in the inside and outside." Jace muttered.

Some minutes later Maia came back with an entire backpack full of food. "Let's go and search your parabatai."

We, Simon, Alec, Jace, Meliorn, Maia and I, continued our journey.
