This story takes place in a world where science and technology constantly evolves and advances, there's bound to be brilliant minds hoping to make a difference out there. In Resistance City, we meet 3 introverted teens (Lydia, Charlie, and Zach) who are starting the biggest transition of their young lives: Entering high school.

Through 3 unusual incidents each dealt with, they miraculously become heroes through a mysterious super-powered radiation. But the question is....why? Why were they chosen for the job?

The 3, unaware that they all gained superpowers, decide to pretend like nothing happened and try to enjoy their summer break. That is, until a mysterious object crashed into the nearby forest one fateful night.

Enter Robby Circuitboard, an amnesiac alien robot lifeform who crash landed on Earth for a mission he no longer remembers. While he attempts to regain his memories, he decides to help Lydia learn to control her powers and become a superhero. In return, Lydia cares for him in the comfort of her home.

With the fear of Robby potentially discovered by the government or any sketchy research organization, she teaches him Earth customs and how to stay hidden when they're not out stopping crime. Little did Lydia know that while she was outside the house, Robby would somehow find Charlie and Zach and help them control their powers/become superheroes.

One day, the city gets attacked by a half cat-human mutant named Dr. Koshkin, with the help of his animal mutant minions. Lydia and Robby suit up and run to the rescue to help evacuate civilians and stop the mutants from causing more damage.

While fighting, Lydia nearly gets crushed by one of the mutants until Zach (in his hero costume) comes to the rescue and the 2 officially meet their hero personas. The two tackle villains together on one side of the city as Charlie (in her hero costume) helps Robby in the other.

Once Dr. Koshkin retreats, the 4 celebrate their first unexpected teamwork victory and eventually reveal that they know one another. But of course, this isn't the end to their story as more villains and foes emerge from the shadows with their own intentions of how to run the place...or the world.
