kick me while I'm still laying low
break this spirit, crush these bones
underestimate me, my darling foes

sink me in the ocean deep
suck out all the air till I can't breathe
but I will flourish, I will grow, you'll see
set me aflame; I shall rise like the phoenix

for, all your futile attempts to bury me
you have yet to see that I am but a seed
