RAFE STOP!

Kiara was the next person to emerge from the Chateau, Athena spinning to face her. "Kie. Where you going?"

"I'm going to see my parents, see if I can get some money for a lawyer for John B." Kie told her, smiling weakly at the blonde.

"What me to come with?" Athena asked.

"Will you?" Kie questioned, her lip trembling slightly as her badass façade cracked, her clearly nervous to go home.

"Yeah, yeah Kie. Let's go." Athena smiled, holding Kie's hand as they made their way to the Carrera household.

"You know, the first time you don't call that god forbidden nickname and it's in a situation like this." Kie let out a weak laugh.

"Just our luck. No more Kiki Dee." Kie swung her arm around the blonde's shoulder, pulling her close.

"Tell you a secret." Kie whispered. "I kind of liked the nickname."

"I knew it."

Athena stayed behind Kiara as they made their way into her house, making sure she didn't draw attention to herself as Kie and her parents argued.

"God, you are so worried that I'm gonna sleep with a pogue like you did!" Kie exclaimed grabbing Athena's attention. "Well guess what? I already did."

Mike tried to step in but Anna took over, shouting at her daughter as her temper bubbled over.

"Look, I'm a pogue and I always will be!" Kie told her mum. "This is why I hate coming back here."

"You hate coming back here?" Anna repeated, nodding slowly. When Athena noticed her grab the laundry basket full of Kie's clothes, the blonde grabbed her friend's hand. "Baby, you wanna live like a pogue?"

Anna threw Kiara's clothes over the fence. "Let me show you what that's like. Go live like a freaking pogue."

Kie's eyes watered as she stared at her mum, her eyes flickering over to her dad for a moment before Anna exclaimed. "Get your butt out of my house! Nobody's stopping you!"

The curly haired girl froze before she nodded, walking towards the stairs. Athena closely behind.

"You said you'd keep her safe." Anna stopped Athena.

"And I have. You see she's safe." Athena snapped. "And you know what I'll continue to do so because when she came home and needed you the most because her best friend is in jail and is about to be sentenced to death, you kick her out."

Anna stayed silent making Athena scoff. The blonde looked over, Kie standing watching her. "And I thought mine and JJ's family were the only ones that were messed up."

Athena shook her head, joining Kie in picking up all her clothes.

"Hey, hey, I've got it." Athena leant down, picking one of her shirts up before wrapping her arm around Kie's shoulders and pulling her closer. "I've got you."

Kiara sniffled as she leant on Athena, the two walking back to the chateau. When the two got there, Sarah was rushing towards them.

"Thena!" Sarah exclaimed.

"Did Wheezie reply?" Athena asked her twin.

"Yep." Sarah nodded.

"I'll come with you." Athena told her firmly.

"I was about to ask." Athena turned to Kie, making sure she'd be okay. When she got a nod in return, Athena went with Sarah to the docks where Wheezie was supposed to be meeting them. Athena's phone buzzed in her pocket, her digging it out to see a message from JJ explaining his plan. The blonde ignored the message, Sarah's voice forcing her to look back up at the matter at hand.

"Wheezie?" Sarah called, looking around.

"Wheeze?" Athena's eyebrows furrowed at the noise, following Sarah as she went towards it.

"Is that you?" Sarah asked. "Wheeze?"

The twins rounded the corner to see Rafe standing there. "No, not Wheeze."

"Where the hell is Wheezie?" Sarah asked angrily.

"Don't worry about it." Rafe told them as the two backed up. "Listen -- whoa. It's all good. I - I just... I just... I needed to talk to you, like, a little bit. Both of you, without you shouting at me. Is that okay?"

"Don't come near us." Sarah ordered him as he stepped closer.

"Cause... cause what you do Sarah, affects me, okay? You don't... you don't think of that do you?" Rafe shook his head.

"You shot me, Rafe." Sarah scoffed. "You shot both of us."

"That's it, right? It's... it's always my fault right? Like, uh -- wait." Rafe paused in his tracks, turning to look at Athena. "I shot you."

Rafe looked over Athena's figure, accessing it, like he was trying to figure out when and where he shot her. He's eyes land on her bandaged arm, him stepping towards her but Sarah pulled her away from him.

"Yeah, you did. When you raided the chateau like a psycho." Sarah exclaimed.

"Are you okay?" Rafe asked softly, his concern confusing Sarah, who held Athena's hand almost like she was keeping her back.

"Does she look okay?" Sarah questioned, gesturing to the blonde's arm and expression, which was one of fear, confusion and anger.

When Athena doesn't say anything, Rafe scoffed, looking back at Sarah. "I'm the bad guy." He muttered. "Because, like, I... I wanna keep what's mine, that I got by my work and I'm the bad guy for trying to... to hold onto it?"

"It's not yours." Athena finally spoke.

"Like I'm wrong to protect what's mine huh?" This time, Rafe did approach the twins, his voice turning soft as he spoke once more. "Listen to me, okay? The cops are going to talk to you, and... and I need to make sure the story's straight because --"

"You killed Peterkin." Sarah deadpanned. "My story's straight."

Rafe rolled his eyes, stepping back as Sarah continued. "Listen, this would go so much better for you if you would --"

"Who are you trying to protect here? Huh?" Rafe interrupted.

"I'm trying to do the right thing." Sarah stated.

"You're trying to do the right thing?" Rafe repeated.

"I cant --"

"You doing the right thing is the reason that you got shot." Rafe explained to her. "Because you were following John B."

"John B might get the death penalty because of you!" Sarah exclaimed.

"That's... that's exactly what I'm talking about Sarah. You know." Rafe sat down opposite the girls. "You have always been against me."

Sarah shook her head, muttering, "No I haven't."

"Don't shake your head. And you still are." Rafe told her. "No, no, no, no. You're not just against me. You're... You're against us. We're your family, and your against us."

Rafe stood up, looking towards Athena. "And you turned Athena against us too. You brainwashed her, she..." Rafe made eye contact with Athena. "You were the only person who was ever on my side and now you're standing there, wanting to ruin my life."

"I'm not ruining your life, Rafe. I... I don't want that." Athena went to step towards her brother but Sarah held her back. "You just need some help."

Rafe ignored her, instead turning back to Sarah. "You know, Dad always takes your side, right? Even before he disowned Athena, cause you're gonna cry in front of him like you cried in front of me. But you listen too me. I am a proactive type of person, Sarah. And we have a problem, and I gotta solve that problem tonight. Do you understand?"

Rafe stepped towards the girls, yelling this time. "Do you understand?"

Sarah then took off, dragging Athena with her, their hands interlocked as they ran through the docks, trying to get away from Rafe, who was following after them.

"Whoa, whoa, Sarah! Athena! Where you going, Sarah?" He called after them.

The two girls ran until Rafe finally caught them up, grabbing Sarah, manhandling her until he had her up against a container full of water. He pushed Sarah against it harshly.

"No, Rafe! Stop!" Sarah cried.

"Hey, hey Rafe! Stop! Get off!" Athena begged, trying to push him away unsuccessfully.

"It's... it's... it's Sarah. It's your sister. Please... please don't." Sarah begged, hyperventilating.

"What about me? Huh? you'd have me fry." Rafe gritted his teeth, lifting Sarah up and dunking her under the water.

"No!" Sarah cried, before the water engulfed her.

"Sarah!" Athena shouted, jumping forward to grab Sarah, Rafe pushing her away. Athena stepped forward once more, pushing Rafe with all her power to try and get him to release her.

Rafe then brought Sarah up again, her gripping onto Athena's arm. "You brought this on yourself. This is on you! Your decisions."

"Rafe! Rafe!" Sarah tried to get him to stop.

Athena held onto Sarah, but her arm slipped away when Rafe pushed her under the water once more. Athena went back to trying to push Rafe away.

"Rafe, stop! Stop it!" Athena begged, Sarah's screams being swallowed by the water.

"This is what you get Sarah. This is what you get!" Rafe growled.

"Rafe please! Stop it." Rafe looked at Athena, him momentarily loosening his grip on Sarah before he shook his head, pushing her away once more. This time Athena stumbled back, tripping over something on the floor and falling to the ground.

The blonde's body crumbled, her head hitting something on the way down. Athena didn't know what she hit, for the world went black when she felt the cold floor beneath her.
