I MISSED YOU SO MUCH

"They're fancy people. They've had three governors in their family. They've run Charleston for, like 300 years." Kie informed the four as the truck slowed down in front of the Limbrey's house.

"These Kooks make our Kooks look like Pogues." JJ commented. "You sure this is the place, Pope?"

"Pretty sure." Pope nodded apprehensively.

"All right." JJ opened the door, allowing Athena to get out before he and Kie followed. "Fat city, for sure."

"Charleston is so pretty though." Athena yawned.

"Twenty Seven King Street." Pope held up the letter, double checking the address.

"Talk about home security. Are those spikes to keep people out?" JJ asked.

"No." Kie gulped.

"The slave quarters are over there." Pope sighed, "These spikes where to keep people in."

Athena sighed quietly, holding both Pope and Kie's hand in comfort as she stood between them.

After being basically kicked out of the Limbrey's, Athena, JJ and Kie went back to the truck, the trio making small talk while they sat around.

"Look, if Limbrey is legit, then Ward gets arrested and maybe Thena and Sarah get the gold." Kie stated, JJ and Athena nodding when they noticed Pope leaving the house. "Does that look voluntary?"

The trio watched as Pope tried to turn around, the guy pushing his forward as he kept walking.

"Definitely not."

"That would be a negative."

"Come on." Kie urged, about to get out the car.

"Wait, hold on." JJ stopped her, Athena grabbing her arm. "They're going into the alley."

"Go around back?" Kie suggested.

"Yeah. We'll meet them on the other side." JJ nodded.

"Yeah, go, go, go." Athena told him. "Just be chill guys."

"Look, where did they go?" Kie asked aloud as they drove down the road.

"What id they went underground?" JJ suggested. "Because in CHUD, when they took people down in the sewers it would turn the humans in humanoids cause of the radiation. And then all of a sudden -"

"JJ, this is nothing like CHUD, focus." Athena cut him off.

"Right sorry." He looked towards Kie. "Did you see him?"

"No."

The trio finally found Pope, running through an alleyway to see him on the guy a taser a few centimetres away from them.

"Pope!" Athena shouted, grabbing his attention. Pope looked up as she rounded the corner, turning the guys over and punching him in the face.

"Pope, come on!" They all began to run back to the truck.

"Come on!"

"Pope, leave him! Come on!" Athena called back to the boy. "Go! Go! Go!"

The four of them ran back to the truck, throwing the doors open and jumping in. JJ sat in the driver's seat, quickly starting up the engine as Athena scrambled to sit on Kie, the door being slammed shut behind her.

"Who were those people?" Kie exclaimed.

"We're getting out of here." Pope replied.

"That was crazy. Let's get out of here."

"Are you okay, Pope? He didn't taser you or anything?" Athena asked him.

"I'm good."

JJ began to drive down the road accelerating as he did. Kie and Athena turned when they heard an engine revving from behind them.

"I think he's following us." Kie stated loudly.

"He's definitely following us!" Athena agreed.

"This is one- way." Pope stated. The two starting arguing at which direction the road went in, another car heading their way.

"There's another car!" Athena shouted, gaining their attention.

"Turn! Turn right!" Pope ordered, JJ quickly spinning the wheel, narrowing avoiding the car before they quickly swerved out of the way to avoid colliding with two figures, making them run out the way.

"God, do people never look before they cross nowadays?" Athena commented in disbelief, holding onto the door as JJ swerved.

"Get out of the road!" The blond boy shouted out the window. "That was evasive driving technique, right there, y'all."

"Well don't JJ, you can have a gold star when we're not in danger!" Athena said to him, making the boy smile for a minute before looking back at the road.

"Where are we going?" Pope asked, looking at Renfield as he followed not to far behind.

"I'll lose him." JJ stated as he turned into an alley, the truck starting to smoke suddenly and slow down.

"I knew I should've have stolen Rafe's gun." Athena coughed as she hopped out of the car, Kie shooting her a look as she followed behind.

"Now is not the time for jokes Thena." She reprimanded.

"You said he fixed the carburettor!" JJ exclaimed Pope's way.

"He did."

"You said he was the real deal." JJ continued looking at Athena this time.

"He was!" She rose her hands in defence.

"Okay, what now Mario?" Kie asked him.

"Number one rule. Never trust mechanics!" The Maybank boy panicked as Renfield pulled up behind them. "We gotta go around."

JJ quickly grabbed Athena's bag, throwing it to her as she encouraged him to run before her, following close behind as Pope and Kie did the same. The four sprinting down the path as quickly as they could.

"Guys, I think he has a gun." Kie yelled as she ran behind.

"Shit, get down!" JJ shouted as they all ducked.

"I'm not fit enough for this crap." Athena panted, as JJ grabbed her hand to make sure she kept up.

"Get to the alleyway. Come on!" JJ urged. The four continued to run, JJ muttering something about splitting up.

"This way!" Athena shouted, pulling JJ left, Pope and Kie close after.

"Where are we going?" Kie shouted.

"I don't know." JJ told her.

"He's not going to shoot us with people around." Athena explained as they sprinted down the side walk, her and JJ colliding with the delivery man as he boxes went everywhere. "Sorry Mr Delivery Man, hope you're okay."

"Sorry about that!" JJ called over his shoulder.

"Sorry!" Kie and Pope shouted their own apologies as they carried on running. The four carried on running, turning left again into the alleyway, Renfield gaining on them as they ran.

"Where are we going Attie?" JJ yelled as they continued to sprint down the alleyway.

"Towards town." Athena told him as they ran out of the alley. Athena skidded to a stop when she nearly collided with an electric bike. "Sor-"

She cut herself off when her eye's met Sarah's, chills running up her back as her eyes went wide. John B was with her, smiles spreading across each of their faces as time seemed to stop for a moment. Her sister, her twin sister, was there, right in front of her, safe. Athena had Sarah back. The Cameron twins were back in action.

Athena was the first one to snap out of trance, jumping into the electric bike and sitting into her sister's lap. "Sarah!"

"Get in! Get in! Get in! Get in! Come on!" John B ordered quickly as Kie jumped in the back with the twins, hugging Sarah before she turned to Athena.

"Thena!" Sarah hugged her tightly, her eyes watering slightly. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you more." Athena laughed, holding onto her sister as if this was the last time she would ever see her again. John B began to peddle, JJ and Pope pushing from the back.

"He's behind us!" JJ yelled, making it up the small hill before jumping in.

"See ya later, alligator!" John B called over his shoulder as he peddled, having it come easy on him because they were going downhill.

"Bye biatch." Athena shouted as they all began to cheer, successfully getting away from Renfield. "JB you stayed alive."

"You think you were getting rid of me that easily Thena?" John B replied as she leant over and pressed a kiss to his cheek.

"Never."

"A pogue never dies." John B told her.

"Thanks for keeping her safe." Athena whispered.

"I made a promise didn't I?"
