Hanako's PoV:
" Dad! We need to get going now." I overhear my childhood friend say back to his dad. I walked outside of the clan house, waiting for Lee to say his goodbyes to his dad. We have an adventure waiting for us..
After a lot of minutes of waiting, my childhood friend finally came out of the door. His black face mask covered half of his face, James Lee (or Lee as I always call him) wore a white plain shirt, dark blue shorts, and those slippers for ninjas. He tends to copy a character from the book he's reading there.
"You kids better be safe, okay?" The adult tells us. " Hanako, always follow my son.. Try not to get lost there."
" Yes, Thank you for everything, sir!" I said my final goodbyes to my guardian.
James Lee came to my side and we began walking on our way to the city.
It's been two years since I agreed to stay in their clan house, as I spent those years looking for my older sister who was kidnapped by strange people.
While escaping from those mages, I bumped into a white haired ninja who I learned to came from a clan of ninja mages. Their clan head was his father, Alfonso Lee. Despite his bald head and pleasant personality, the training he gave us was torture... They helped me work on my aim in throwing shurikens and taught me basic self defense.
There were also clan secrets that they didn't agree to share with me, sadly.

Time skip: After 1 hour of walking...
Anyway, we finally reached the train station to travel to the famous city called Magnolia. This wasn't our first time taking this transportation, sometimes the clan accepts weird requests from trusted clients that has me and Lee leave the house for weeks or even months...
" Dibs!" I sat quickly besides the window seat and did a tongue out to the older boy. The ninja just ignored me while sitting across me. He was busy reading his book called "Icha Icha Paradise", that has a weird cover on the front.
A small table divided us, as my head fell from boredom and i slept quickly.
...
"Hey, wake up." I felt something hit my head hard, it was painful for a small kid like me. I opened my eyes and swatted his book away.
"That's so mean, stupid ninja!" I screeched at him and blinked. "Hey, where are we now?" I asked, looking out of the window. This was the first time i went to this place.
"We're in Magnolia city."
"Wow that didn't take long.. let's go already." I said impatiently, feeling the motion sickness reaching my brain.

A river connected some parts of the city, with bridges in every corner. The large city had a variety of stores in every corner. It was easy to get lost from all the people walking everywhere.
"Come on, let's get to that guild house!" I pulled his arm as I ran to the famous guild quickly, also dragging the poor ninja with me. He suddenly stopped, his momentum made me fall to the ground.
"Jerk.." I whined from the ground.
"We need to rent a place first. Then you can join that guild.." He says briefly. His eyes landed on a small inn that was conveniently beside us.
"Pfft- fine! " I puffed up my cheeks and followed behind him. He opened the door, and it made a bell sound.
~
We were in front of the guild house, called Fairy Tail. I looked up at the height and it made my head spin. My sister mentioned this guild before, she was a big fan of the members..
"Hanako." The kid ninja called my attention. "I forgot to tell you but-
He was cut off when a young white-haired girl approached us. She had short hair and blue eyes. The girl wore a simple, pink dress paired with dark red shoes. She was taller than me by a few inches.
"Hey. Do you want to join our guild?" She asked us, with her high pitched voice.
"Yes. I want to join!" I said, smiling brightly. I looked at my childhood friend and expected his answer.
"Lee?"
He wasn't reading anymore and tried not to give eye contact to me or the girl.
"James," I said silently. "You're not coming?" my voice broke a little. I saw him as my brother over the years. It's too bad that he's not coming.
"I'm joining another guild." He muttered. I heard it loud and clear.
"But we agreed that we'll join together!" I pouted like a kid.
"You said that. Not me." He said and continued- "Also, I have some reasons. You don't have to know them, okay?"
"Fine. I'll miss you, ninja." I hugged him tightly, tears forming in my eyes.
..
..
He twitched at the contact and said with a deadpanned voice said-
" Stop being dramatic... We're not separating forever, Baka." He teases me and loosens my hold on him. "Just get back to that inn before it gets dark, Hanako.."
I blinked.
"Oi, where are you going?."
"As I said, I'll join a better guild." He says and turns away.
"You'll regret not joining us!" I shouted at him as he walks away.
I forgot the girl was still there as my head turned to look at her.
"I'm sorry about that. That was my stupid brother just now. So.. what's your name?" I explained briefly.
" That's fine. I'm Lisanna Strauss." She smiles after saying that.
"Hanako Saito, nice to meet ya." I introduced briefly.
We entered the guild together with me walking behind her. It was really loud in here, the noise is heard from outside.
A curly blue-haired girl approached us, with her two tall friends behind her.
"Uhm- Hi Lisanna." She said shyly and noticed me. The two also greeted her.
"Hi, Levy-chan, Jet and Droy." Lisanna greeted them
"I haven't seen you here before." The black-haired boy spoke up, referring to me.
"I'm joining the guild," I said
"You should join our strong team. We call ourselves.. the Shadow Gear."
"Wow. That sounds so cool! How do I join?"
"You should get a white guild mark on your right shoulder blade." the curly-haired girl spoke up to answer.
"That's right! We all have one."
I nodded and we went to the counter, on the opposite side stood a young woman with brown hair and black eyes. She was cleaning some dishes.
"Iruma," Lisanna called out to her.
"What can I do for all of you ?" She stopped and looked at us.
"Hanako wants to join the guild." Lisanna excitedly said, her hands were behind her back. While she flicked her hair on the right.
"Alright then." The woman got a big stamp and looked at me. "Where do you want it to be?"
I threw a questioning gaze at my white-haired friend. What was that thing? I didn't agree with having a tattoo as a kid.
Iruma the waiter, saw my confusion and explained it to her.
"Every official member has a guild mark, it just shows you're part of the guild legally. Just show me where I can put here."
"Oh okay. I'll have it here." I lowered my shirt collar from my back. I pointed at my right shoulder blade.
"Color?"
I looked at them and they nodded.
"White."
She placed the stamp over it and a white fairy tail insignia was shown from my skin. I grinned at that.
I'm now a member of Fairy tail.
