Jet and I faceplanted at the hard ground, the impact hurt that I would have scratches everywhere. The fast mage has already passed out from overusing his magic. 

"Hey, Idiot. Wake up!" 

Suddenly, multiple vines grabbed hold of my legs. I screamed at the sky when it was dragging me to its direction. I knew I was out of options here. 

My hands shakily went to my sling bag and grabbed pieces of papers in panic. I poured some magic to the papers.

" Hm? Could that be.." My eyes widened at what Mr. Alfonso holding on his hands. 

" You're part of our family now. So only use these explosive tags when you're in trouble."

" Thank you so much, Mr. Alfonso!" I smiled at the older man. Time to test it in our training next time.. heheh

On my command, the papers flew to the large vines that held my legs. It let a big explosion, I was thrown into the air and crashed into a nearby tree. 

The stupid plant shrieked as more vines attacked at my direction. I jumped away at last minute and it destroyed the tree. The vines tried to get a hold of me again. 

I made the last explosive tags fly to the roots of the plant, and before the vine could reach my face.. A loud explosion was heard and the largest plant shrieked as it slowly died, along with the other smaller plants.

"JET! HANAKO!"  I heard familiar voices shouting our names from behind.

I looked back and searched for my teammates. They ran to me. Their appearance didn't look as bad as mine. At least the monster plants were gone..

"We heard an explosion, are you guys okay?" Levy asked, worriedly. 

" Yes, that stupid plant sure gave us trouble. But everything's all right now.." I said, reassuringly. 

"I'm glad you guys are safe!" Levy cried, hugging me. 

"Hey, Hanako. Where's Jet?" Droy asked, he noticed he wasn't here with me. 

"Oh.. I left him earlier. He passed out from using too much magic.." I said. My two friends paled, thinking where could he be. 

" Don't worry! I'm sure he's here somewhere.."

"Hey JET! WHERE ARE YOU??" Droy run off somewhere, shouting his best friend's name. 

We continues to look for our missing friend and found his body that was still unconscious. 

" See.. he's fine!" I smiled, feeling relieved. 

" We should get our reward now. Our first task is done here.." I said, and walked ahead of the group. Levy smiled to follow me. 

"Yes, our first mission.. is complete!" Droy cheered as he carried Jet by his arm.
