Two days have passed since I joined my new guild. The inn we rented awhile back was too pricey for us to stay, we moved to different houses.

Lee usually goes missing when I wake up from my sleep. He was a weird kid, that's like a stereotypical ninja in movies. This time, the white-haired ninja was finally present in the morning. He grumbles about not getting work to pay for our rent, entering the room, his face was looking tired.

"Hey Lee! Did you find work yet?"

" I haven't found one yet.." He says. "I'll just join some famous guild with a good pay."

"Fairy Tail is a good option! I met a lot of cool kids there, and they let me join their group-" I rambled on with my stories about Fairy Tail and its members. "Also! I heard a lot of S class mages are there.. like Gildarts!" 

" Yeah.. no thanks, kiddo."

"What's with you and my guild, huh?" I argued at him.

" I hear they spout friendship every five seconds... The members sound like annoying troublemakers to me." He says, harshly.

" That's not true! You haven't meet them yet." my face looked red at anger.

And so our bickering was so loud that it caused someone to knock in our door, complaining about the noise of our argument.

After last night's fight, Lee and I were able to find another inn in Hargeon Town. The bad news is that we were running out of jewels fast, we could only stay in that place for at least 3 weeks. The funds from Lee's clan was slowly running out, and I still find myself buying sweets to spend it on. 

I opened the guild door and searced for my new group. My eyes looked surprised at the ongoing dangerous fight. Even after a week, I wasn't used to the fights that happen everyday. I turned to Levy who was reading another book. She looks like she's used to these guild brawls..

"Uh.. Shouldn't we stop them before someone gets hurt? " I asked, trying to avoid getting hit by a flying object or any magic from a member. 

" I wouldn't get close if I were you.."Levy deadpans at the older members. "You'll get dragged into the fight."

"This thing happens all the time, Hanako."Jet says, his face didn't look worried at all. 

"Yup. It's best if you leave them alone." Droy says after. 

" I better get used to this then!" I ducked my head from a flying chair, it managed to hit Droy in the face comically. I felt a huge use of magic energy  everywhere. After everyone started to calm down, Team Shadow Gear let me meet a lot of members that were their age and one of them are the Strauss siblings. The three siblings all had nice white hair, they looked like Lee's long lost relative with the hair color.

Mirajane Strauss was the oldest of the three siblings. She's a bully and beats up the older members for fun, they call her "Demon Mirajane" which was accurate. If it weren't for her terrible personality, she would have a lot of boys crushing on her. 

The middle sibling was this quiet nerdy boy named Elfman Strauss. He would always be studying his books, he would also avoid getting into fights. This kid is the complete opposite of Mirajane.

The last one was Lisanna, the youngest of the three. She is way friendlier and the very first friend I met in Fairy Tail. She always hangs  out with Team Shadow Gear for some reason.

(30 minutes later..)

I opened my eyes from my sleep and saw the chairs empty. In the bar station, a brown-haired girl sat on the stools. She was reading some cards on her hands.

"Cana, have you seen Levy or the two with her?" I asked her, forgetting what their names are.

"Oh, you mean the two idiots? I think I saw them outside with Mirajane."

"Right.." I thought to myself, I had a bad feeling about this. I thanked Cana and searched for the exit. Even I got lost by the size of this place.

I finally found the exit after asking some guild members and picture this scene.

Mirajane had her foot on Droy's back, he was face planted on the dirty ground. The other kid was yelling at her to get out of him.

"Get away from him, monster!" The voice that was coming from Jet, he was aiming to punch the bully with his speed.

She effortlessly caught his fist and kicked him out of the way. He hit a nearby tree, head first.

I think he died from that attack. Poor kid, he will be remembered. I better not get involved. Unfortunately for me, Droy noticed me and yelled-

"HANAKO!"

They all looked at me. I scratched my head at the attention

"Tsk, what did you guys do now?" I said at them, my voice irritated by the situation.

"The monster stole our lunch money!" Jet said, leaning against the tree he hit earlier. He had a large bump on his head.

Should I help them? Ye- no.

"So, shortie. What are you gonna do about it?"

An irk mark appeared on my face. Insulting my height was the biggest mistake she has ever done. SHE. WILL. PAY.

I clicked my tongue in annoyance. I ran to her and my fist made contact to her face. She didn't expect me to attack violently.

She staggered at the impact and managed to let go of her feet on Droy's back. He ran to my side huffing and tried catching his breath like he's about to die.

Mirajane had a red mark on her cheek at the punch.

"Don't ever call me short." I threatened in a low voice.

She punched me back and I was pushed back. Something snapped inside of me as I started physically fighting with each other.

"You don't scare me. If you want to end up like them, then be my guest!" She referred to my teammates who looked beat up.

And the fight got even more violent when she pulled my hair, and we exchanged more blows, resulting in more destroyed trees.

I just made an enemy out of the demon. Well, she started it...

"They're both demons." Droy looked scared at how violent our fight went.

Trees around us were done for, our clothes were covered in dirt and ripped in some sides, the ground had craters in them. I looked as bad as she is, my face had a lot of scratch marks.

"Uhm... Hana-chan, we'll call for help." Jet yelled at me, he and Droy ran back inside.

My two friends abandoned me and went inside for help. They thought of getting an older member to help.

"Just give up already," I shouted at her, jumping back. My purple hair was messy.

"You piss me off. I'll show you my true power for messing with me." She held out her arm, it changed into a monster one.

"I'm not holding back either, demon girl." The paper started floating around me, it's ready to hit her anytime soon.

We were about to hit each other until a loud booming voice caught both of our attention.

"YOU BRATS. WHAT DID YOU IDIOTS DO NOW?"

A big figure made its appearance, I felt fear and curiosity at this person. Who is he?

Mirajane's arm turned back to normal, and she looked pissed off.

"This is not over." She crossed her arms and looked at the big guy. Her hand went back to normal.

The big guy shrunk down into a shorter figure. He was shorter than me.

"Mirajane, didn't I tell you to control your powers?"

"That girl started it."

"We don't fight our comrades in this guild... Go back inside," he commanded at her with authority.

"I heard from Liliana. We had a new guild member that joined us.." He looked at me and said "I'm the guild leader, Makarov Dreyar. What's your name, little one?" He waved at me.

The guild master? I wonder why he was gone these past days..

"Hanako... Saito, sir.."

"Just call me Gramps, as the others do." He said, casually. Maybe it was my imagination but the guild master looked surprised for a while but retained his resting face.

"Hanako, was it?" The old man asked me. "So, you came here to find Ryuji.." I waited for him to continue.

"Who?" I blinked at him, he was missing after abandoning me and my older sister. "Do you know him sir- I mean gramps?"

"Ryuji... Saito? He's a mage here." My eyes widened at what he said. "Well, he used to.."

" Then where is he now?" He sighed at me, probably hesitating to answer my question...

"I'm afraid I can't tell you right now, Hanako. Get stronger then I'll tell you everything I know soon."

"Y-you can't be serious, old man. I have to know where he is. " My voice was rising with anger, and vision was getting blurry from my fight earlier. I took a deep breath and lost consciousness.
