-Narratives will alternate every part between Shintaro and Ayano. A good rule to keep in mind is that the odd-numbered chapters will be from Shintaro's view, and the even-numbered from Ayano's.

-This is a modern/school AU, in which the events leading up to the Heat Haze never transpired. No snakes, no eye abilities, etc.

-As such, Kozakura Mary will be fully human in this fanfiction.

-Contains profanity/vulgar slang.

-For the most part, the Mekakushi Dan/Blindfold Gang members will not know each other at the beginning of this story, including Shintaro and Ayano.
