Part 9

The pain was excruciating.

It was so intense; the world consisted of nothing but pain and agony right now.

She felt someone grab her hand as she fidgeted and snatched it away again. No. She didn't want-she didn't need anyone else.

Except him.

Another wave of pain hit her. She needed-

"SASUKE!" she let out a scream of agony. She felt someone grab her hand, to reassure her. She let them this time. Judging by the calloused texture and size, it was Naruto's hand.

"Hinata...it's alright."

No. That was a lie. Everything was not okay. This wasn't supposed to be happening right now. She was not supposed to be in a hospital as of now.

She was supposed to be home and her husband was supposed to come home tomorrow. There were supposed to be another 2 months before she had her baby.

Oh gods. Her baby.

Was it in danger? Judging by the amount of pain-something was wrong.

She needed Sasuke right now. Tears fell from the corner of her eyes as she gritted her teeth because of the pain.

"Hinata...breathe." Naruto said, rubbing her cold hand with both of his hands. She obeyed and-

"Naruto." She breathed out. He was attentive in an instance.

"Hinata...I swear you're going to be okay. I won't let anything happen to you." he promised her. She thought his voice was a little teary.

"I need...call Sasuke." She said, more tears forming from the intense pain. Naruto wiped the sweat off her forehead.

"I did Hina, he'll be here. I promise he's coming. Please. You'll be okay." He assured her. She could tell he was worried out of his mind himself.

"Na-" she started when pain hit her again. She let out another scream of agony, calling out Sasuke's name. Naruto was yelling too.

"DO SOMETHING." he yelled at the panel of doctors attending to her. "SHE'S IN PAIN!"

"Sir, keep calm." Someone assured him as Hinata felt herself drifting in and out of focus. She couldn't breathe. She couldn't-

"Hinata-stay with us. Stay with me...please." She heard Naruto say to her.

"Sasuke." Hinata groaned out before she passed out and darkness engulfed her.
______________

There was light when she woke up.

A beautiful garden. She was laying in a very beautiful garden, she realized. A small breeze blew, making her bands fly in her eyes.

She sat up abruptly. What the-?

Where was she? How did she get here? The last thing she remembered was a hospital, Naruto and extensive pain.

She was okay now. Better than okay. She felt amazing. But she needed to go and see her baby. And her friends and to see if her husband was alright or not.

But somehow, she didn't want to leave this place. She was wearing a white gown and she wondered how that had come here?

Was she dead? She thought with a jolt. That would explain the garden and white dress. If she was dead-she was not happy.

She looked around and found no one else there.

"I need to go back." She whispered to herself. She walked ahead. The garden seemed to never end. It stretched on and on.

After hours of wandering, she got tired and sat down.

As she lay and closed her eyes, she heard whispers. Whispers telling her life was nothing but agony. Nothing but misery and pain.

Wouldn't she just like blissful oblivion?

Wouldn't she like to give up?

Wouldn't she like freedom?

She would...

All she had to do was let go. If she let go and embraced the end, she would be free. She would be free and she wouldn't have to go back.

As she breathed out, ready to give up, a familiar voice stopped her.

"...listen to me."

She opened her eyes, listening. Who was this talking?

"Daisuke, our son, he's really determined. He's super strong. And...and he's waiting." He told her "He's so small, Hinata, it scares me. Like...he'll break in my grip."

She realized with a jolt. Sasuke. It was her Sasuke talking to her.

"His eyes have the same color as me. But they look like you shape-wise. He has...he has dark hair and-he really needs you."

They had a son? She felt her chest fill with happiness and satisfaction. Dark hair and eyes, pale skin. She imagined their son. She needed to hold him-

"I need you to come back Hinata. I need you to wake up."

She felt her breathing still. Sasuke...

"I need you...to come back...Because I can't make it without you."

He sobbed while saying this. He was worried. He was alone. He needed her...how could she ever have been so selfish to even consider letting go?

Leaving her son and husband behind?

She felt tears gather in her eyes. She needed to get back.

"I love you Hina."

She loved him too. So much. And she needed to go back to him right now. She was ready to go back now. To her Daisuke.

To Sasuke.

To her home.

Author notes: Enjoy this emotional chapter. It was supposed to be a filler but i also really wanted a Hinata point of view in the circumstances.
