Yes, i'm late. Sorry again. Just, blame college! I have papers like every month. Anyways, here's the next part and don't worry, i'm going to update sooner this time. Maybe next week. And i will also be updating my supernatural AU and maybe work on the other pending ones. 

On to the story.

Sasuke awoke to the smell of omelets. He sat up in bed, in an unfamiliar room, and wondered just where the hell he was.

Then it hit him. He was in the states, in his brother's home while it was not his wife who cooked for him. It was his sister in law. The thought put him out slightly but he swung his legs around and lowered his legs to the ground.

He went and showered and brushed his teeth. He walked back into the room while toweling his wet hair. He checked his phone for any calls or texts. Meaning, to check if Hinata had left a message or anything. Seeing none from her, he ignored the rest and went for breakfast.

"Sasuke. Good Morning." Itachi said from the table, still clad in his black sleeping shirt and pants. Sasuke nodded and sat at the table.

Izumi smirked at him before presenting him with a plate of food and a mug of coffee. "Where are the kids?" Sasuke asked before taking a sip.

"School. Thank Gods." Izumi said, taking her own breakfast and sitting next to his brother.

"By the way, thanks for babysitting. The kids said they'd never had more fun than last night. We should have you over more often." Itachi smirked.

Sasuke glowered at them both. "You both should act like adults more often."

Izumi let out a laugh which sounded more like cackling. Itachi and Sasuke suddenly looked at her with startled expressions, ignoring their breakfast.

Sasuke felt his mouth twitch at his brother's expression. So he'd never seen her laugh like this during the time they'd been married?

Izumi gasped and wheezed before she stopped laughing. Itachi still looked slightly startled. "Uh what was that for?" he asked.

Izumi looked cheerful this morning, Sasuke thought as she spoke. "When Sasuke glowered...it was just like when he was 6 and I first saw him."

"I'm 26 now, and I did not look like that." Sasuke defended himself. Itachi smiled fondly at his brother and wife before shaking his head.

"Well we have a lot to do Sasuke so, let's finish breakfast and get to work." Itachi said. Sasuke nodded and they started eating.

But Sasuke had a smile on his face as he left for work.

Hinata and Ino laughed as Naruto retold his story of how he'd switched up his father's paperwork while attempting to tidy up the place.

"Naruto, you're plain crazy." Ino told him fondly ruffling his hair. Hinata smiled along as he protested. Ino's phone started blaring up.

"Okay it's my manager. I've got to go." She told them. Naruto and Hinata nodded as she hugged them both and rushed out of the house.

"So Hinata-what do you want to do next?" Naruto asked, helping her put away the lunch dishes, a lunch she and Ino had cooked.

"I'm okay with anything." She told him with a smile. Naruto grinned boyishly as he suggested they skype Gaara.

"Yeah, I haven't talked to him in ages." She agreed. Naruto nodded and called Gaara who miraculously picked up.

"Hi Gaara." Hinata said with a soft smile as his face came into focus. His eyes lit up slightly at the sight of two of his closest friends. Hinata smiled as she looked at the redhead, who wondered if he could fly down anytime soon to see her.

It had been a long time after all, he thought as he started talking.

Sasuke was dead on his feet when he came home from the final day of the expo. There had been an unbelievable amount of people in the expo and he could safely say it had been a huge success.

It would be very profitable for them, he mused at almost midnight. He sighed and sat down on the bed without changing.

He could text Hinata instead. He'd be leaving for home tomorrow after one last meeting anyways. They'd discuss the success of the expo and consider branching out.

But he did not want to think about it yet.

He just wanted to sleep. Preferably with his arm around Hinata to ensure she was safe. Stop it he told himself She's perfectly fine.

But he had a bad feeling. He just missed her. Normally he wouldn't make a big deal out of it but right now, he knew he needed to be there for her.

Maybe he should sleep. Thinking about this would only make it worse.

He went to take another shower and changed into some comfortable clothes to sleep in. Running a hand through his hair, he made his way to bed.

He lay down and closed his eyes to sleep. He was almost asleep about 20 minutes later when his phone started ringing.

God. He was going to kill whoever this was. If it was Neji ready to bite his ass again, he was not going to be happy. That man had no humanity.

The caller ID showed Naruto Uzumaki.

He considered not picking up, as Naruto should know how late it was here. But then he sighed. His best friend was doing him a favor, staying with his wife. He could return it by listening to whatever stupid story he had to tell.

"Hello?" he said, picking up the call.

It wasn't the usual cheery Naruto who answered him. "Sasuke, you need to come back here as fast as you can."

Naruto's voice was panicked, a little higher than usual.

"What happened?" he asked sharply sitting up. Sasuke felt his heart stop as he let go of the phone from his hand.

"You're wife's having the baby and she's getting worse by the minute."
