ceased to exist to me
Running through the
grassy plains let free
Forgetting all the
Worries I'd ever found
Absorbing sights and
sounds all around

to the staring eyes
The piercing looks and
unapproving sighs
The bonds that stuck
stronger than glue
Were the friendship
ties of me and you
My eyebrows creased
with avid persistence
And fought off any
avid resistance
To our hopes and
dreams, our future plans
Sketched in, whilst
drinking from soft drink cans
You played your clarinet
soft but well defined
And made art, daring
sharp and unrefined
I danced, my soul
rejoicing all the way
My countenance getting
brighter, day by day
