Happiness is much more precious
Than we'd ever realise
It comes and goes like a wind
Unseen to any eyes

But it's there, bright and strong
In many hearts today
Yet we know it's something
That won't always stay

Battered by the storm of life
And left limp after it all
You never know how tempting
It is, to just fall

But the spark inside each of us
Called happiness, we know
Is the energy that keeps is going
And lets our passion burn and glow

It is never the end
There's always a way
You have to keep going
Until a brighter day

When you think no strength is left
And the time is really done
The light will guide you
To higher heights to run

Set free from chains of darkness
And let go from past tests
I have to keep going
Until my soul rests

The monsters keep calling
Trying to pull me away
But it hold it in my mind
That it'll all be okay

And with happiness by my side
And a smile on my face
