Guanlin has been friend with Seonho since they were little. Guanlin is older than Seonho so he thinks of Seonho as his own little brother.

"Hyung, you will never ever leave me right?"

"Ahaha! Your like my own brother. If I'm not there for you, who will protect you?" Guanlin chuckles. "A brother... Huh?" Seonho looked down. "Hm? What's wrong?" Guanlin looked at Seonho with worried. "It's nothing..."

The next year.

Guanlin and Seonho went to the canteen together. They walked while talking. Without notice, someone bumped into Guanlin's shoulder.

"Ah! Mianhae... For bumping you..." He bowed down. Guanlin face turns red when he saw the face of the person he bump. "Kiyowo..." Guanlin said. "Eh?" The namja surprise by what Guanlin said. Guanlin just realize what he just say as he quickly bowed his head. "I... I didn't... For... Forget what I just say!" And then he heard a giggles from the person he bump.

"You're a funny person!" Guanlin saw the smile makes his heart beating so fast. "May I... Know your name?" Guanlin asked nervously.

"My name is Park Jihoon. Nice to meet you, Lai Guanlin." He greeted.  "How do you know my name?" Guanlin asked with his face full of surprise. "I've always been watching you when you play baseball nor basketball. You're so cool at the court. And I like it." He smiled. Guanlin face turns even red.

"Well, I'll be going now. Once again, I'm sorry for bumping you." Jihoon walked pass Guanlin and when he did, Guanlin quickly turned back to see Jihoon's back.
"Guanlin hyung? Let's go or we're gonna be late." Seonho said. "Seonho-ah." Seonho looked at Guanlin face and eyes began to widen. He has never seen those kind of look.

"I think I'm in love."

Two months has passed as Guanlin already close with Jihoon. And he decided to confess his feelings to Jihoon.

"Jihoon hyung, I love you. Do wanna date with me?" Guanlin confessed. Jihoon eyes full of surprise but then tears start dripping from his eyes as he smiled in joy.

"Yes!" Guanlin didn't expect Jihoon would say yes. He quickly hold Jihoon and raised Jihoon up, making the little namja surprise. "Guanlin?" "I'm too happy right now! I won't let you cry! I will make you happy, Park Jihoon hyung! I promise!"

Jihoon smiled. "It's a promise right?"

2 weeks since they're dating. Seonho only could look at the young couple.

"You say that you will never leave me."  Seonho looked down. He gripped his hand with his face full of anger.

"Seonho-ah! Let's eat together! Jihoon hyung is waiting for us!" Guanlin called. "I don't want to if that cute boy come!" Seonho looked away. "Why? Did Jihoon hyung did something bad on you?" Guanlin asked. "No. Just leave me alone!" Guanlin scratched his head. He got pissed when Seonho yelled at him with no reason. "Fine! I'll leave you!" And then Guanlin storms out to Jihoon's place.

When Guanlin arrived, Jihoon didn't see Seonho at all. "Guanlin-ah, where's Seonho?" Jihoon asked. "Who knows! He say that he doesn't want to go if you're here!" Jihoon surprised. "Did I do something that make him hate me? I thought that we could be friend." Jihoon said with his teary eyes. "No it's not your fault! He might be on a bad mood today. Maybe tomorrow he'll be fine. Okay? So don't make that face. Even it's cute." Jihoon nodded.

The next day, Guanlin didn't see Seonho at all. He heard that Seonho moving out. And that makes Guanlin surprised. Why didn't he tell that he's going to move? Guanlin tried to called him but no answer he get. "Why he leave like this?"

"Guanlin-ah, I found a movie that you might like. Wanna go see this Saturday?" Jihoon asked. "Sorry I can't! I'm gonna go to Seonho's place." Guanlin said but he didn't look at Jihoon face when he talk. "Oh... Okay."

Months already passed and Guanlin still searching for Seonho. Jihoon felt that Guanlin already forgotten about him. Every time Jihoon asked him for a date, Guanlin always rejected him with the same reason.

"I'm busy finding Seonho." The same words that Jihoon always hear whenever he asked Guanlin out.

"Does... Seonho more important than me? Does Guanlin still love me?"

Jihoon hold Guanlin's hand. "Guanlin-ah, I..." Before he can speak, Guanlin already slapped Jihoon's hand away.

"I say that I'm busy!" Jihoon surprised by Guanlin reaction. Guanlin also surprise by what he just did. "Hyung, I didn't mean to do that! Honest!" When Guanlin reached his hand to Jihoon, Jihoon already moved back with his face already wet because of his tears. Guanlin saw his beloved tears makes his eyes widen open.

"I can't do this anymore..." Jihoon said. "It's already been a month. You always avoiding me just for Seonho. And... Right now, you already break your promise." Jihoon sobbing.

"You promise you won't make me cry. You'll make me happy... Is that all a lie?" Jihoon asked. Guanlin keep silent. "Can't say anything?" Jihoon asked again.

"Hyung... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to avoiding you. It's just..."

"This ain't gonna work out."

Guanlin looked at Jihoon face. "Let's end this relationship." Those words makes Guanlin feels there's a knife just stabs his heart. "Hyung. Don't do this to me! I still love you!"

"I also still love you, Guanlin. But I just can't. Clear your head first before saying that you love me. Cause I know all you want is just to find Seonho." Jihoon turns away and walked away. Leaving Guanlin that still freeze there.

"Jihoon hyung... I'm sorry... I..."

After school, Guanlin walked home by himself. And then he started thinking. "When did the last time I walk home with Jihoon hyung?" Guanlin rubbed his back hair. "What am I gonna do now?"

When Guanlin arrived at his house, he saw someone at his front door. Guanlin widen his eyes.

"Seonho?" Guanlin quickly hugged him. "Where have you been? Why didn't you contact me?!" Guanlin asked and asked but Seonho only hugged him with no words.

"Why ain't you saying anything?" Guanlin looked at Seonho eyes. "Do you want to know why I left without telling you?" Guanlin nodded.

"Cause I hate you hanging around with Jihoon hyung." Guanlin surprised by what his friend just say. "Why? Why do you hate me being with Jihoon? He didn't hurt you or anything right?" Seonho shake his head. "Then why?"

"Isn't it obvious? It's because I love you!" Seonho said. Guanlin eyes began to wide open. "I've already fallen for you for a long time. But why did you not notice? You only could think Jihoon hyung and that's it!" Seonho yelled.

"Do you move out just because of me being with Jihoon hyung?" Seonho nodded. "I really wish you could break up with him! No. I want you to break up with him!" Guanlin couldn't believe by what his one and only best friend just say.

"I hate it! You promise me you will never leave me! But now, you with Jihoon hyung and left me behind!" Seonho said.

"Did I promise you that?" Seonho surprise by what Guanlin just said. He looked at Guanlin serious face. "I never say I promise about that. I only say 'your like my own brother. And If I'm not there for you, who will protect you?' I remember that. And I know I have never say promise." Guanlin said.

"The promise I know just one. Making the one I love happy. But I just break that promise." Guanlin turn his body back. "I'm so disappointed of you, Seonho. I've never knew that you're such a no heart person." Guanlin ran back to school, leaving Seonho who is crying alone.

Jihoon just going to leave school. He sighed cause of the class duty. And for what happen between him and Guanlin.

"My eyes hurt."

Jihoon rubbed his eyes. And gave another sighed. As he walked pass the gate, he heard someone yelling his name.

"Jihoon hyung!" It's Guanlin voice. Jihoon stopped his movement. "Guanlin?" Guanlin arrived at Jihoon front. He gasping in tired. "What are you doing here?"

Guanlin sighed and started talking. "I already found Seonho." Jihoon didn't surprise at all. "And when I found him, I know something that I must do." He said but Jihoon didn't want to know what Guanlin want to say. Cause he bet that Guanlin would say he want to be with Seonho rather him so, Jihoon looked away.

"I have to keep my promise. A promise that I already break won't be enough. I will make a new promise for you." He said. Jihoon surprise as he looked at Guanlin face.

"I promise, that I always be by your side. Whenever you cry, hurt, I'll be your shoulder. And I promise that I will always love you." Jihoon eyes began to wide open. "That's my promise for you, Park Jihoon."

Tears started falling from the little namja's eyes. "You won't... Break this promise... right?" Jihoon asked while sobbing. "Yeah. I won't. I'm sorry. I won't break this promise. So, you can cry on my shoulder." Guanlin said. Jihoon quickly ran to Guanlin and hugged him.

"Hugging you is enough. I love you, Guanlin. I really, really do! And I also promise, that I will love you forever!" Jihoon said.

"Well then I add more for my promise to you." Guanlin said.

"I will always love you till the end of the world."
