Jihoon POV

What is love? What is destiny? I don't believe any of that. Not even once I want to date with someone. It's all fake. Many people say that when you found your destiny, you felt your heart will bloom like a flower. Felt sparkles around his body like in the comic or cartoon. Weird right?

I will remain alone. I don't need such lover or something related with love.

And when I think about that, I felt thirsty. I looked there's a coffee shop that I've never seen before. Maybe it's new. And because I love the smell of the coffee, I decide to enter that shop.

The lined up pretty long. Or should I go home instead?

"Excuse me but if you don't want to order, please leave."

I heard someone said in formally. I looked at the front and saw a tall mature looking boy wearing a dark green apron. Maybe he's the barista?

"Aww... Don't be like that Lai. You make this noona sad." The person named Lai smile to her. "I don't even care. So could I have your order now?" I looked he kinda piss. Well no wonder. If I become him, I will yelled at her. This guy can even smile at her. And don't tell me all of these girls just want to see this person?

"Thanks for the order." He bowed his head to the customer. And finally, it's my turn. "Welcome, may I have your order?" The mature boy said. "Is this shop just opened?" I asked. "Yes. 2 weeks ago. So it seems this is your first time here?" I nodded. "Then welcome." He smiled tiredly. We no wonder, he had to take care the crazy girls. Maybe around 21 girls. Even a male also got interest for him.

"It must be tough for you to handle all those crazy people." It just came out from my mouth. The boy widen his eyes and gave a cheerful face. "You get it huh?! It's hard to handle all of them. I don't even know why they act like that! Really annoying!" Why the heck he say that to me? "Well, maybe because you have a good looking." I said without thinking. The boy surprised what I just say and blushed. "Thank you."

What am I saying?!

"Anyway, what can I get for you?" He asked. "Hmm... I don't want too bitter and I also don't want too sweet." I said. "I think I have a perfect coffee for you." He said proudly. "Uhm... How much for that coffee?" I asked. He just gave a smile and then, "you can pay it later. After I finished the coffee for you." I nodded with a confuse look. I walked to and empty seat. I waited for like 5 minutes. And aftef that, he served me a coffee.

"Here is your coffee." I stared at the coffee.

It's just an ordinary cafe latte.

"Try it." He smiled at me. I grabbed the cup and then have a sip. I widen my eyes with a smile plant on my lips.

"It's... Sweet... And there's a bitter at the last taste." I said. "Well, it is look like an ordinary cafe latte. But if you taste it carefully, you will taste some sweet and bitter coffee. I call it, Cafe Lin Latte." He said proudly.

"You made it yourself? If I remember, I didn't see anything written Cafe Lin Latte?" I said with confused. "Cause you're the first person who tasted it." I widen my eyes. "Me?" He nodded happily. "You know, there's a meaning about sweet and bitter taste." He said. "And what is it?" I asked curiously.

"Love."

For some reason, when he say that, my heart won't stop beating normally. I quickly drank the coffee and then picked up my wallet. "Umm! How... How much for the coffee?" I asked nervously. "Oh! It's free. Cause it's not in the menu right?" He said.

"Oh no! I can't do that! I have to pay you!" I said and he just laughed by my attitude. "You're so funny. I say it's okay. You will pay me if this coffee already at the menu okay?" He said.

"I still can't do that, Lai!" I just say his name. "Oh? You look at my name tag. You can just call me Guanlin. Anyway, I'm gonna go to work. Hope you can come visit here again." He smiled at me and then left to his work.

I looked how he walk. My heart still beating so fast. Could this mean Destiny? No no no! There is no such thing as destiny!

I stood up from my seat and left some money to the table. I should leave this place!

The next day, I walked pass to the coffee shop again. I looked away but my feet felt like it want to enter. And my mouth feels like it want to drink that coffee again. I can't resist by the taste. Without thinking long, I entered the shop. I looked there's Guanlin at my front, talking with the customer. And I can see he look struggle. I gave a small cough and say,

"Miss, are you done taking order?" The woman turned her head to me and smiled at me. "I'm sorry. Well then, later Lai..." She gave a wink to him and left the shop.

So gross! My wink much better than her! Eh? Wait! Why am I taking this serious?

"Haahh... Thanks for that." He said sincerely. "Oh! Uhh... She... She just took too long!" I said. "Hahaha... I see... So can I take your order?" He asked. "One... Cafe... Latte please..." "You mean Lin Latte?" He teased me. I can't look straight to him but I just nodded nervously.

"Haha... Wait for a moment then, uhh... Sorry I didn't catch your name."

"It's Park Jihoon."

It seems Guanlin write my name on a paper. "Park Jihoon-ssi, right? What a lovely name for a lovely guy." He said. "Eh?" My face began to red. Guanlin face also gotten red. "I... I'm sorry! I say without think! Uhmm... You... You can wait at the empty seat." He said nervously. "Y... Yes." And I walked to the empty seat.

Did he really say that? Why my heart won't beat normally? Please calm down my heart! It's just a word! Nothing special right?!

Few minutes he served me the coffee. "Here you go, enjoy the coffee." He was gonna left but then I say to him, "how much for this coffee." He turned back and looked at me. "I say it's free right?" "I won't accept this coffee if it's free!" I said with kind of harsh. Guanlin eyes surprise by what I just say. He rubbed his back hair with a little pink blush on his cheeks.
"Well, tomorrow this coffee will be served to everyone. My boss said it taste quite good for sell. So... Tomorrow you may pay?"

My eyes began to widen. My heart stopped for a moment when he said that. That means...

I won't be the only one who drank this coffee.

"Well then, if you excuse me I have to go back to work... Huh?"

I grabbed his lower shirt tightly. "Uhh... Jihoon-ssi?" "I don't wanna..." I said in a lower tone. "Pardon?"

"I don't want someone else drink your coffee!" What am I saying? Why am I... Saying such thing?

"I want your coffee to be taste by me! But I don't want it free!" I don't know what's got into me!

"So don't make it for others except me!"

He'll hate me! Well, I don't mind though. I'm the one who say destiny doesn't exist. But... Why now my heart feels it weird whenever he's around?

"Jihoon-ssi... If I can't sell this coffee, and if I only serve this coffee to you only, it means free for me."

"But... I don't want free! It's like you pity me as if I don't have money..." I said.

"Then, how about you pay me by being my lovers?"

I looked at his face with full of surprise. "What?" I asked again.

"Date with me, Park Jihoon."

I saw his face began to red. I also feels my face began to turn a tomato. When did he began to get interested on me? And why do I feel happy about this?

Ahh... I get it...

A bitter sweet love...

"...Yes."

This is what it call destiny.
