I walked through the halls, hopefully going the right way. I finally got to the entrance of the costume department. I looked around, checking for any signs of life and/or danger as far as I could see. Seeing none, I proceeded.
I looked around, and noticed that clothes, masks, fake horns, fake halos,  gloves, and other things were spewn across the department; I don't know how, but some even made their way to the lights above.
I glanced around more, and I saw, yet more writing; this time it seemed like a warning, because it said, "Beware the object that floats.". I started to worry, looking around do see anything floating. Seeing everything still, I cautiously walked, looking for an exit to another room or something.
I started thinking of a song I once heard, no words, but interesting. It started calm, but it would soon start to get intense, suspense building, and then it'd go calm for one or two minutes, and the angry sounds would start playing; that's how I felt right now.
I walked a little more when I heard a thump. I immediately turned around, but saw nothing. I knew I wasn't safe now, I turned around and tump, this time closer. I turned around agian, expecting something. Nothing.
I turned around, and started to run. Thump. I wirlld around,
"Alright, who or what is there!? I know you're there!" I shouted.
Nothing!!
I was getting really mad, but then, I looked closer, and saw something.
A gem, a diamond shaped gem, hiding on  one of the clothing that was on the light. I soon realized it wasn't part of the costume, for it moved, floating actually.
Floating..
Floating...
Beware the object that floats...
I nearly died of a heart attack when it started to reveal itself. A huge, distorted, monster. It looked down at me, )form what I belived since it didn't seem to have eyes, or a mouth) just.. looking.
I thought this was my chance, I ran like there was no next minute.
I heard a distorted like scream or cry and then a few minutes later, thump thump thump thump.
I turned around and saw that it was chasing after me!
I started running faster, dodging boxes and other things. I knew that the thing was right behind me, and I knew I couldn't out run it, but hear me: I WILL NOT LET MY LIFE BE TAKEN TODAY!!
I soon saw a door leading to another part of the department. Not having time to think, I ran in and shut the door before it could get in (probably couldn't because of it's size).
I melted to the floor, I felt like I had just ran around the world without stop. I probably could have with that thing chasing me.
When I finally started breathing normally, I looked around.
The room seemed to be a sewing room. A chair, table, sewing machine, and fabric were the only things there.
I got up and walk towards the table and chair.
I sat my butt down on the chair and panted. I looked at myself, I was sweat under my armpits (obviously from running and fright), and some rips in my clothes. I touched the back of my neck, and felt some wet and dry blood, probably for falling. I also felt a rip in the back of my sweater.
Had the thing scratched me and I didn't noticed?
I sighed and leaned back into the seat, closing my eyes for a little.

I opened my eyes, looking around. I was very tired and I just wanted to go home.
I noticed a piece of paper of the table, and I leaned forward to look at it:

Subject M.A.A.C.H.A.T.H.I is the first model of the Cross-Species Experiments. This model is composed of both humans and cartoons, we expect it to follow rules while having a mind of its own. Cartoons have the ability to do almost everything and not get hurt, combine that that with the mind of a human, and it shall be the ultimate weapon man have ever.

I looked at the photo, it was the exact same creature that chased me before.
Maachathi, so that's it's name..
I thought. Knowing this information, I now knew more about it.
My mind suddenly went back to the door. I knew I could not stay in this room forever. I walked up to the door and opened it a little. Maachathi was nowhere to be seen, neither was the diamond. I saw, just directly across from where I was, the exit.
This could be my chance.
I slowly, very quietly, stepped out of the room. I started to silently but still quickly run towards the door, but then I felt myself go off the ground.
"Ahhhh!", I yelled, terrified.
Hhhsss, I heard from behind me.
I turned my head, and saw Maachathi, looking directly at me. I saw that was being held by one of her claws, and was lifted high from the floor, for it was hanging from the ceiling.
I looked at Maachathi, terrified. Who knows what it will do to me! I shut my eyes and tensed my body, waiting for something to happen.
"Son..", I opened an eye, and say that Maachathi looked terrified at me.
"Ja-..Ja-Jason!", It spoke, sounding like a terrified girl.
The voice, it sounded.. familiar?
"H-hello?..", I said, my voice trembling.
"No no no no!", Maachathi said, quickly putting me down on the floor.
" He here!"
"One of them!"
"Why here!"
Maachathi spoke many voices, many male and female voices, all sounding scared and angry.
"No! No, hurt!", the girl voice said.
Maachathi started shaking and seemed to fold into itself.
It looked at me, and with a shaking claw, pointed to the exit.
"Jason,...RUN!!", Maachathi said, shaking in place, many voices coming out.
"No no!"
"Don't make him leave"
"Needs to pay!!"
"RUN!"
I couldn't take it anymore, I ran to the exit.
I heard Maachathi shriek and chase after me.
I ran faster and jumped. I fell onto the floor and heard Maachathi chash into the exit door, making things fall, including the sign on top of the door, which hit me hard (why so many things gotta hit Jason hard man XD).
"What happened?!", a voice was heard, followed by another.
"I don't kn- OH MY GOODNESS!!"
"Is he okay?!"
"I don't know.."
Last thing I saw, where two figures coming towards me..

Finally finished it! I already started working on Chapter 4. I want to get Chapter 4 out in time for Christmas. Please comment how you feel about all that has happened so far. Now if you will excuse me, I need to go work again. Bye!(Also please tell me if I made any mistakes, alright bye!)
