It has been eight years since Pandora saw the girl with the name Brier. Eight years since she started to bleed monthly. And eight years since she started going out on her own and experiencing freedom. She was currently walking with Millie on there favorite trail. "So Millie how is your day going?" Millie smiled sweetly at Pandora. "It's going good Pan. I can't wait to-." They heard a familiar voice shouting. They turned around and saw Caleb Sore running towards them. They were annoyed when Caleb reached them. "So how are the two town's witches doing?" Caleb sneered at them. Pandora looked at Caleb in real annoyance.

"Millie look who it is. It's the town's man w";': who is just like his father. In every single way. From top.....to..... bottom." Millie laughed and Caleb slapped Millie across the face. Pandora was furious with him and started to shout at him. "You pathetic excuse of a man. How dare you lay a hand on a woman." Caleb began to mock her more. "What are you going to do about it. Tell mommy and daddy. Oh wait that's right your's don't care about you." Pandora walked up and slapped him in the face. "You are such a ba$+@#$ Caleb you know that." Caleb turned and looked at Pandora before pushing her to the ground. Pandora glared up at Caleb.

"You better watch who you talk to witch. I'm going to teach you a lesson right here right now." Caleb was about to hit her with a stick when he was suddenly tossed to the ground by Dane the dog. Dane was upset that the strange man tried to hurt his family. He was the guard dog and he would protect his family. Caleb was struggling trying to get Dane off of him. "You dumb mutt get off of of me." Dane wasn't giving up. "I said get off of me." Caleb got his dagger and stabbed Dane in his stomach. "DANE!!!!!" Pandora and Millie both screamed as Caleb tossed a whimpering Dane to the side. Millie ran and held Dane's corpse in her arms. She started to cry. Pandora looked at her friend and then glared back at Caleb.

She got off the ground and walked up to Caleb. She stared into his eyes and just maybe into his soul. "Go ahead and stab yourself in the heart. So you can understand what pain feels like." Caleb felt his hand go against his will and felt a sharp pain in his abdomen as the dagger went through his stomach. He looked at Pandora with a painful expression.

"You're a real B*;"(." Caleb then passed out and feel to the ground. Pandora then turned and walked towards Millie. Millie looked up at Pandora with a pained expression.

"He's dying Pan. He's going to die because he protected us from an evil man." Pandora got on her knees and started to slowly and gently pet Dane's head. With what little strength he had left Dane put his head into Pandora's hands. "It's okay Dane you did a good job. I'm so proud of you." Dane's breathing began to get slower by the minute. He looked up at Pandora with eyes that life was disappearing from his body. Pandora kissed his head. "You can rest now Dane. You've been a very good dog. Go and see your family now. We will be okay." Dane stopped breathing and Millie let out a shriek of pain. Pandora slowly stood up and looked around. Millie stood up holding Dane's dead body in her arms. "Let's go home Pan so we can bury him." Pandora nodded sadly. "Let's go home."

Ruth was cleaning her front yard when she saw her niece and Millie walking towards her. She dropped her broom when she saw Millie carrying their dog's bloody corpse. "Girls what happened." Ruth began to cry as Millie and Pandora reached her. Pandora began to cry rivers of tears. "Caleb tried to attack us aunty Ruth. Dane started to attack him for trying to hurt us. Caleb stabbed him. Dane died protecting us." Ruth hugged Pandora in her arms tightly. Ruth kissed Pandora's head and rubbed her hair. "Shh, it's going to be okay my sweet sweet child. When one door closes another one opens. Let's get Dane buried and get some rest." Millie and Pandora both nodded.

After they buried Dane they went into their cabin and tried to get some rest. But they soon woke up to loud shouting and flaming light. Pandora walked towards the window and froze. She saw the whole town marching towards their house. "AUNTY RUTH AND MILLIE THERE'S A MOB OUTSIDE!!!!!" Ruth and Millie ran to the window and froze. "Quick girls let's escape through the underground tunnel." They ran to the secret door in the floor and almost made it. Pandora had tripped over a lose floorboard and hit her head on the floor really hard. Everything started to go black. The last thing she heard was her aunt and Millie screaming her name and the sound of a door being broken down.
