Hello my dearest readers!

This is a serious discussion and I have to take a serious decision regarding this book, so I would like to take opinion of everyone here. Who have read the book because this book is not just mine, it's everyone's out there who read it.

I consider my readers as a family, and in family no one takes a decision without consulting the others, hence I am here regarding an important issue.

So I would cut the chase and come on point, I am here regarding something very very important decision regarding this book.

The thing is there has been a little friction going between a set of writers and some writing communities. Regarding the wrong or should I say cross pairing in accordance with Mahabharata.

So the thing that is happening is, some of the people, I wouldn't name, have actually suggested that I change the name of Karn in my book, because they feel it is hurting the sentiments of many.

And I would be the target of bashing or something.

I appreciate their concern.

I don't really mind doing it because I do not intend to hurt for anyone's feelings or anything.

But like I said there are talks of all sorts, some of my readers have requested I keep the book as it is. Because they believe that it is a publicity stunt.

I neither agree nor disagree, because I don't know anyone except a few people, and I don't make opinions about someone based on rumours.

So what is a fiction?

_A fiction is written by a fan of, and featuring characters from, a particular TV series, film, etc. (Google definition).

This is what this book is. A fan fiction.

No I don't want to insult anyone but I just wanted to point out the obvious.

How do you know if a fiction is breaking a law? Below picture gives the parameter to gauge that.

As you can see for yourself legally I have done nothing wrong.

Why did I write this book?

Because I wanted to, it's a piece of my imagination.  I intended to harm no one's emotions or nature.

But I would love to state some facts straight, we are all humans right?

I hope it's a yes,😂😂😂 if no than bhai bata de, I'm preparing to run. 😂😂😂

Jokes apart as humans we have different opinions, and different perspective, and we should respect it.

I respect the views of all the communities here because I remember the biggest lesson that Mahabharata gave me, that was choosing the path of peace over everything.

I understand you have a different opinion than mine, and it's completely understandable, and I understand that one feels that for example Karn is a negative character for some but not for others.

It's everyone's opinion, he was just a human like you and me.

Can you tell me for 100% that no one really hates you? If it's a yes, your magic  not human. But as humans we have all made mistakes, some forgivable, some not.

What matters is if you realise and repent it. One bad deed over shines every good one, sad but true. When Krishn forgave him, I don't see the point of holding a grudge.

And who are we to judge? Are we all perfect? Have we lived their lives, through their perspective?

Hating anyone is easy.

This fan fiction was my tribute to those 6 brothers, who were separated by faith. A positive intention, that had nothing to do with this new mess. Nor intended to hurt anyone.

I am a very logical person, I work on logistics, the logic that they suggested because I eliminate the Karn's character is because like spreading rumours about someone is wrong, so is writing about them.

Which I completely understand, the person is right. But my question is, I have created a tale from beginning, my imagination, what if Karn was born as brothers and situations had been different? All I tried to do was eliminate the amount of suffering they all went through, a world of happiness and love.

Was it wrong?

Doesn't geeta say that intention is what matters behind a work?

Was my intention wrong?

Nor am I hurt, neither am I angry, because I do not play the victim card, and tend to avoid drama. I am very straight forward person.

Legally I did nothing wrong.

Neither I have according to geeta because my intentions were clear.

I myself am explaining this, though I believe that no one should explain themselves because friends would never need it and the haters would never believe it.

It's logic.

Right?

I am repeating I do not mind changing Karn, but he is a character, one that I have fabricated over the time with lots of work.

And like any normal person I want to have a solid reason to erase him from my book.

Reverse harem is not the cup of tea for everyone, and there is something known as choice of reading. As far as I remember, I never promote my books, I haven't suggested anyone come to read it.

It was a choice, constitution of India and god has given you the right to choose. Than why not use it and just skip the book you really don't like pairings of?

I mean logic right?

Why make others life and yours a hell? By bashing them?

What does it achieve? I mean I understand you have strong opinions regarding  Mahabharata, and for that specific reason if you'll see this book is known as FAN FICTION.

It's meant to be read and forgotten.

Mind you I do not, entertain any sort of negativity in mine or others life, I never get in others way, so kindly you don't get in mine.

Still you have issues, pm me your number,  better yet, home address, I am ready to send a notice of court at your home, either way having family of lawyers, I don't have to pay. 😂😂😂😂😂

I don't play kiddish games, nor do I entertain them.

In simple words, I have done nothing wrong, I have no reason to be afraid. I may sound a bit arrogant or rude, but come on guys an entire character?

Still I am telling you, I am ready to alter only if you answer my few questions, with logic and not that kiddish attitude where you believe your always right.

(Sorry but I have faced a few kids, and it's just annoying and waste of time.)

The questions are:

Does Mahabharata or geeta preached you bashing? That go out there and make others life hell?

Is my book really doing any disrespect to any character? Where and how?

Who gave you the right to tell what is wrong and right?

Are you that perfect that you can say which character from Mahabharata is good and which is bad?

Sitting and passing comments, on who is write and who is wrong is very easy.

What is difficult is actually sitting in their position and being them. Situations are bad, people are not.

This is fact most of us forget.

We each are the heroes of our story and villain in another's, that's life. There is not always right and wrong, there is a gray area too.

Mahabharata is sacred no doubt, but are you really following it's preachings?

Forgiveness, Sacrifice and Acceptance are principles it's based on.

What you are doing is it right?

If you have a conscious alive and kicking, have the right views, you will know the answer.

I am no one to stand here and preach, I myself am not perfect but, someone needs to speak up when the level of, I don't want to say the word so I won't, just goes beyond.

You feel cross pairings are waste of time?

Than let me remind you, you are wasting your time and energy over something you consider waste, so just ignore it.

Utilise your time.

Is a fan fiction so important that you break the mind of peace of not only yours but others too?

Is it worth it? May it be mine or anyone's?

Like seriously?

If that is the level of you having free time, I am flattered that you are using it to discuss a fan fiction that is not even doing any harm or benefit to anyone. 😂😂😂😂😂

I find it funny, yaar you would procrastinate important stuff to argue about what?

Jokes apart, on a serious note, we will talk about meaningless fan fictions, about our neighbor or whatever, but how many people here, who call them Mahabharata hardcore followers actually think while you are actually reading and I am writing here, someone somewhere out there is getting raped.

Is currently screaming for help.

Ever dealt with a rape victim?

Being a clinical psychologist I have.

I know.

And I understand what the value of life or time is.  We will talk about everything, make communities to protect the rights of Mahabharata characters who are long gone dead.

But how many here are ready to discuss the current issue of rape, mostly we all are girls here, being girls we turn a blind eye, ignore the elephant In the room, like it doesn't exist.

Lucky are we because we are sitting here, discussing this matter.

Lucky we are.

Someone out there is crying for a life, because he doesn't have this precious time that you got to spend with their family, because they are dying.

And what are we doing with that time, sitting here discussing about cross pairings.

What should I call this? Well educated women from good family backgrounds, good responsible citizens.

Some are teachers, some are students, some are house wives and many other professions.

And what are we doing?

The most important task of the world, bashing others for writing their mind?

Oscar du, ya chaskar se kaam chala lenge?

What appalled me, there are teachers and well mature people participating in this, instead of guiding the people to a right path, you are doing exactly what?

Fueling it on.

Seriously? Like that's the sense of dharma?

Remember, we all are in the same hell just on different levels facing different demons.

We have our own issues.

Corona and two tuff things we are facing currently, as women better than anyone we should understand this.

This note is not against the cross pairings removal suggestion. NO!

IT'S ABOUT THE BASHING THAT IS BEING FOLLOWED IN THE NAME OF THAT.

If you have issues come sit we'll discuss, people we'll understand.

With me, you have an issue with cross pairings, come sit, we'll talk, if you are right, I promise I will remove Karn from the story.

But dear god, stop the bashing and bullying. That some of my fellow writers are facing, for what? Writing about their imagination. Seriously?

I am really sorry if the truth hurts, but someone needed to speak up.

I know we all have stress, problems and we often don't think of the effect of our words on others.

But what is better proof of destruction caused by mere words other than Mahabharata?

Think about it.

Lives are precious, happiness is important, you are important.

Don't let a stupid fan fiction or anything ruin it for you.

Any issues please talk and resolve.

I am saying this for the hundredth time, I will alter Karn or remove him, whatever, give me the right reason to.   I promise I will.

If my imagination affects you so much, I will. 😂😂😂
