CHAPTER 85
The pandavas watched as the chariot of Krishn came, Madhav glared at everyone of them as he got down from the chariot. The pandavas were surprised to see another chariot followed his, Rukmani and Satya were on it, Balram got down from his horse. The four had furious expressions on their face. Pandavas moved ahead their hands joined, Krishn held his hand up as he glared at them, fury masking his features stopping them mid motion.
"Pandu putro if you all feel you all are worthy enough to greet me, than and only than come and receive my blessings." His words were sharp and were like whips on his soul, that had them freezing, none of them moved forward. Krishn marched down the corridors, the others all followed him.
He came to a stop in front of her door, his heart flared in agony as the air was thick with death here, he was too late her child had died long ago. "Sakhi. Friends are those who share each others pain, I am here to have my share." His agonized voice rang through the corridors, everyone stood at a distance and silently watched. The door to her room open automatically, inside it was too dark to see anything. "Sakhi." He called out again agonized.
The jhankar of the payal was the first thing that they had heard, through the darkness moved a figure. Their hearts tattered as their eyes fell on Draupadi, she limped out, her face lacking all the emotions, dried tear marks marred her face, as her once blemish free skin was now tainted with bruises, her blood soaked lehnga, she stood there looking right through Krishn, focusing at no one.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" A loud agonized scream tore through Krishna's mouth as he looked at her, tears trailing down his cheeks as he completely broke apart, shattered as he screamed, each scream tearing through the walls and hearts of everyone. White blind pain was sizzling and spasming in his chest as he looked at her, he stumbled back as he fell on his breaking down crying. She however stood there, loud piercing cries left Krishn's mouth, he couldn't say anything, he was torn and tattered, shredded. His eyes looked at all the blood, her bruises and injuries as he cried, shaking his head, all her screams of pain rang through his mind, her screams shaking him from within.
Panchaali looked down at him, her friend, her sakha was broken. Just the way she was, the mighty warrior Krishn, who was worshipped by many was shaken by her pain. She lowered herself in front of him, his eyes met hers and another loud cry left his mouth. She shook her head as fresh set of tears trailed down her cheeks.
Dau tried to move forward but Rukmani shook her head, "Let them be." She whispered as she heard another agonised cry leave her husband's mouth. Fresh tears trailed down her cheeks as she looked over them, what game had fate played this time? Everyone was shattered and no one could do anything.
Krishn's cries turned to sniffles as he continued to look at her, she held her bloody hand out to him, the blood of her child, the thought was like a thunder of pain on his heart as he looked up at her, he wrapped his hand around hers. She guided him in, the door shutting back.
Krishn had no idea how long the time had passed as his eyes looked at nothing, the two sat together lost in their own world, own mind yet the companionship of the other reminding the other that they weren't alone, they had each other, forever always.
Krishn shut his eyes as he sighed, trying to collect himself together, he had to be strong, he had to be strong for her. He opened his eyes and turned her head sideways to look at her. His eyes held pain yet he forced a smile .
"Sakhi." He began, "What was my fault Govind? Why did this happen to me? What did I do to deserve this?" She asked as she looked at him, "this is neither your karma sakhi nor the fruit of your karma. This was a fruit of Kauravas Karma that such a big adharm happened by their hands. This is the rule of karma sakhi, good karmas make us do more good karmas and vice versa." He stated, "but I am the one who is suffering." She cried, "Why are you? All the dirt that the river receives she passes it on to the ocean and purifies herself. You too sakhi pass on this negative emotions to god, he is always ready to accept the pain of the world and purify your soul." He explained, "So you're saying I should forgive Duryodhan?" She questioned looking up at him.
"Yes, that would be your first step towards his destruction. Remember Sakhi the person who sits with their own pain becomes weak but the person who accepts the pain of the world is the strongest. Just think about it Sakhi the people who could do this the condition of the chakravartin samragyi what would they do to normal women. Thinking about your own pain is bad karma but seeing the pain of the society in your pain and fighting to do the right thing is good karma. Your revenge would make you weak but if you fight with the intention to free the society from men like this so they could never do such things would make you strong, for than you will be fighting for dharm. And in the war of dharm no matter how much violence happens it is always the righteous path. So tell me Sakhi would you be able to do this difficult task?" He asked as he looked at her with a smile. She nodded, as she looked up at him, she wiped her tears.
"So far my heart was in the darkness of pain and suffering but now in that darkness you have lit the flame of knowledge. I was angry at my husbands, but now, now I know that it is not about me or my husbands, it is about dharm and adharm. So many of gods and goddesses have taken avatar for this dharma yudh, to set an example what happens when a men tries to humiliate women. I will do it, I will fight, not for myself Govind but for all those woman out there, I will set an example for the future that no matter how broken we are we can always use the sharpness of our broken soul and heart to either cut our wrists or use it like a blade to slice the throat of all the adharmis. So not just ourselves but the others too are free from their clutches" She stated determined, her eyes meeting hers, "And forgiveness is the first step, for if I don't forgive him, I will suffer everyday remembering everything that happened while he will stay happy there,Why should I suffer for someone else's wrong?! I am no victim Krishn, I am Krishnaa! I am Kali! I will end their life so this holy ground of Aryavart can be purified." She stated, "I won't cry anymore but I will use my pain to sharpen my mind, this pain that he had gifted me I will use it against him. I can either sit here and cry but I refused to be that weak damsel instead I want to use this energy to prepare for the war that would be the pyre of the kaurav brothers to their death." She shouted enraged, "Mano toh tum kumkum jaisi, na mano toh raakh si, ab tak toh thi tum phool jaisi, ab banogi tum aag si." Krishn whispered as he looked at his Sakhi, his friend, the bravest woman out there, if he wanted he could end the Aryavart instantly but he wanted the world to see what a woman can do, he wanted women themselves to understand what they were capable of, he smiled at her. "Go and get changed sakhi it's time we begin write a new chapter of Aryavart." He stated as he nodded at her, she nodded back, the heart that earlier burned with pain was now holding the flame of justice, one flame that would burn down the entire adharmis of Aryavart and will light the light of dharma. . .
