Chapter 60

Panchaali's hummed as her daughter looked up at her, her huge dark eyes blinking up at her innocently, making her parents heart leap at her sweetness. Bheem smiled as he looked up from his little daughter to the mother of his children, the center of their family, towards whom they all were pulled like magnets, the string that bound them all together, his love, his little angel.

The pandavas felt like they were in a trance as she hummed softly, Bheem laid his head on her shoulder as he passed Printha in Panchaali's arms, he pressed a kiss on her neck as his hand caressed the head of his daughter. Printha giggled, her parents smiled, her little smile giving them immense pleasure.

Panchaali's voice made the pandavas feel like they had lost in some other world, that oly had happiness and their sweet family. Draupadi stood up, carrying her daughter in her arms, her hand patting the head of her daughter as she began to sing her heart out to her little doll, all her love and care ready to be showered at her one precious child, that was the symbol of love of her and her husbands' love. Her eyes moved to the moon whose twilight entered their room, the soft wind blowing the curtains and her beautiful dark locks of hair as she began to sing.

Chandaniya chup jaana re
Chan bhar ko luk jaana re

Her sugary voice filled the room, the pandavas heart thudding in their chest, this was like a dream come true, they had a family now, two beautiful sons, an adorable daughter and all because of this one woman who changed their life forever. Giving them something they always craved for; a family. Otherwise what were they before they met her? They were dead to the world killed by their very own cousins, who hated them more than life, even after being the most feared warriors, the one that were destined to rule were leaving like hermits in the forests, then she came to their life, like that golden angel from the stories, where whatever that angel touched turned gold. Just like that angel, she touched them and their life was turned into a golden one. Hence the name Bheem gave her, his little angel that created this family that was no less than miracle to them, his golden girl.

Her words were like magic, soothing everyone. Making them forget everything, helping them forget all about the stress of life and just living this moment that was no less than a miracle to the, they watched as she moved back and forth in the room, her pace was slow, the serene calm expression on her face as she patted the head of her daughter, her love for her little could be seen through her eyes, the delicate hold she had on her child, the expression of utter peace as she held her child was just something that soothed pandavas like none other.

Panchaali's voice faded as she looked at the sleeping form of her daughter, a smile appearing on her face as she pressed a kiss on her forehead, her little doll, she turned around, happiness and peace settled in her heart as she looked at the sleeping form of her five husbands with her sons, they all looked so peaceful. She moved to the side of the room where the pandavas had specifically created and designed for Printha. She put her in her special crib and covered her daughter with a blanket.

She kissed her forehead and moved towards the bed where her family lay and pulled the quilt over them as she sighed, her heart heavy with the thoughts and memories of her father, she didn't want to think about it but the past was relentless, one could never run too far from it. Her heart squeezed painfully as the memorise flashed in her head, she sighed as her throat tightened painfully making it difficult to even swallow. She moved out of the room towards Bheem's room as it was his year with her this time, she waned to be alone, somewhere where she could fight the war between the memories and the present, she just hoped that the present would win for her past was darker than the night and she feared once she got lost in it returning to the present would be very difficult.

She wanted to be with her family, to lay down with them in her room but she knew even if she did her mind would be far away in Panchaal where her father was, where the cries of the little Panchaali still echoed through the walls, where her cries of pain reverberated through the lavish palace, where hundreds of people lived but when she would cry all would turn deaf, where the family turned a blind eye to her every suffering, that was what she called home for so long, her Panchaal. Her feet carried her to Vrikodar's room, a heavy sigh leaving her mouth like the weight of the world rested on her shoulders, her heart for the first time in years felt that it was carrying the heavy weight of the memories that she feared would be the reason of her demise. She moved towards the balcony and sat on the railing, her face facing outward as her legs hung on the front, all it would take is a little shove and she'll go tumbling down but at the moment she just didn't care as the memories from the past began to surface. . .

"Panchaali!" Drupad's voice rang throughout the corridor making her freeze, her heart hammering in her chest as she looked down at the floor, her head already bowed in shame as his anger laced words had her heart galloping in the pool of sadness.

"You insolent child! How many times have I told you to not run around?! Are you imbecile?!" He shouted, his each word laced with hatred as he looked at her with so much disgust that had her heart tripping with fear, her vision blurred as wetness leaked down her eyes an trailed down her cheeks, she was trembling like a dry leaf hearing the hate and the disgust in her father's words that she wasn't sure did to deserve it.

Hands wrapped around her arm making her look up at him, her bottom lip wobbling as tears after tears rolled down her cheeks, her father's hand tightened on her arm painfully making her bite back a scream of pain as her heart trembled with fear.

He pulled her roughly, a jolt of pain burning down her arm as he pulled it sharply, making her whimper pathetically, she couldn't understand why he was angry? He was always angry and disappointed with her since she had returned to Panchaali a month back, she had tried so many ways to make him happy but all he ever did was glare at her.

She couldn't understand what was happening. She felt like the three years she had lived on this planet with mata Kunti and her pandavas was just a beautiful dream that was shattered when her father's cold hard slap had brought her to the present, where no one loved her, no one cared for her, she was despised by all. He pulled her with him, dragging her, she cried, "Pitashree please..." she begged over and over again as he pushed the door open to the dark room, that had no source of light, no window, just nothing and pushed her in. He pushed her in with all her might, she hit the floor, her knees and hands scrapping on the hard floor, by the time she got up the door was shut, she screamed, her little fists hitting the door as she begged to be let out, she screamed and cried, the darkness seeping in heart and creating a fear that with time turned her biggest terror, a terror that never left her heart till date, she huddled in a corner pulling her knees to her chest, her hands wrapped around them tightly as she moved back and forth, trying to forget the darkness but who had ever been able to run away from their fears? No one, and she wasn't different. Her screams would turn into begging, her begging would turn into cries, her cries would turn into sniffles and finally the terror would take that away too for she knew, it was useless, her crying and begging for no one cared, and eventually she stopped carrying too. . .

Hands wrapped around her making her snap out of the dark abysses of her mind, a rough callous hand cupped her cheek and made her head look up at Bheem's dark eyes, her heart was numb, she could feel nothing, she felt like an empty shell. His gaze were filled with worry as he looked down at his little angel, he felt lost as he took in the state of his girl, he had never seen her like this ever before, she was the sea of sensations and emotions, always so expressive, always so full of emotions, may it be joy, sadness or anger, she always expressed it but today as he looked at her he could see nothing, there was a hollowness there, a void that had o emotions what so ever. T he damn organ in his chest squeezed painfully as he looked at her, what had happened? One moment she was happy, singing for their daughter and the very next she was like this, a numb empty doll.

He didn't question her as he wrapped his arms around her and picked her up in his arms, her soft body pressed into his hard one making him, his eyes fixed on her beautiful face as he looked at his girl. He like her didn't say anything, he knew better than anyone, words would mean nothing to her in this moment, in this moment she had lost her sensations, her emotions as she was not with him; physically, yes, she was there but mentally? She was miles away from him, somewhere where she was hurt and was still hurting. He carried her in and laid her on their bed, his eyes looking at his wife, she looked nothing like the happy, cheerful girl that he was so used to, this one here just held silence and he had no idea how to deal with that.

If she wouldn't leave that place, where she was hurting, he would bring her back, he thought determined as he moved on the bed, his body covering hers as he cupped her cheeks, "Com back to me little angel, I need you." He whispered, as he caressed her cheeks tenderly with his thumbs, he got no response, a tear traced down his cheek, he couldn't see her like this, this wasn't right, this was oh so wrong. He wanted her back to him, he shut his eyes as the pain slowly tightened around his heart as he pressed his lips to hers, another tear tracing down his cheek as unlike always where she would kiss him back, her lips were still, he kissed her harder, all the love, the pain, the desperation, the need that he had for his little angel came flowing out.

Panchaali felt the desperation, the pain and the love of her husband, a tear rolling down the side of her eyes, as she fought with the memories that threatened to hold her back, shackled in the darkness forever. She pushed through them, her hands slowly wrapped around his neck as her lips moved against him, she tasted the saltiness of his tears as the kiss changed from the desperate to a relieved one once she began responding back, her heart thundered in her chest as she felt her senses return, all she could feel now was his touch, his care, his love and just him. He pulled back, panting hard as he looked at the beautiful eyes of his wife, "You scared me there  my love." He whispered before claiming her lips again but this time there was just the pure love that he felt for her, pulling her in to him.

His hands took hers captive and raised them above her head, holding them captive in one hand as his other hand began to trail down her soft curves. She moaned as he growled at her, the silly girl had sacred the hell out of him, he didn't know how but everyday, his love for her just increased, his entire world revolved around her and when she cried, that world always came crashing down on him, destroying the very source of his existence, he didn't fear anything in this world, he just feared her tears, they terrified him. Pain was the one emotion that he never wanted her to face, he wanted to be that shield for her that protected her from every pain and suffering. He kissed her harder as his hands did the quick work of undressing her, his emotions were high, "Arya." her soft voice caressed his ears making his breath hitch. "The first thing I want to know is the reason for your tears right now baby girl, if you're not going to share it than not another word princess." He whispered, anger lacing his words, she had not one but five people that loved her like crazy and yet she held back from them, yet she didn't come to them when she was hurt. The anger and love warred in his chest as he kissed her in a  punishing manner. Her toes curled in pleasure as she felt the slightly painful and pleasured touch of her husband, she gasped as he bit her neck, her mind reeling with the ecstasy that his touch had her feel.

"You're mine so you're pain, suffering, you're tears are mine too and you my love has been a very bad girl by keeping away my wife's pain from me. Who gave you the right little angel?" He questioned, fury lacing his words as he held her chin in between her fingers and her eyes meeting his, a slow tear traced down her cheeks, he kissed her tear away as his hand fisted her long hair, pulling at them sharply, enough to sting but not enough to hurt, "Please make me forget everything arya. . ." Her words were soft, barely above a whisper but were enough to have his heart clenching in pain, her wishes had always been a command to him and today was no different, she was hurting and he like always would do his best to make her forget, his hands caressed her naked body making her moan and gasp in pleasure as she slowly lost herself to him. . .
