Chapter 27
"Arya what are you doing?" Panchaali asked with an amused smile on her face as she looked at Nakul, who was moving around the kitchen collecting different ingredients.
"I am going to cook!" He said excitedly as she was taking a sip of water, making her cough as her eyes widened in surprise. Nakul moved towards her and took the glass from her hand as he began to rub her back, "Easy Panchaali." He whispered as he patted her back.
"I am fine." She said, her voice still laced in doubt as she looked at Nakul and the ingredients that he had pulled out. "What are you going to make arya?" She asked as she looked at him, "that's a surprise!" He said excitedly.
"But you can tell me, I can help you." She said, trying to save her poor kitchen from her husband's cooking, only god knew what will happen if she let him in the kitchen; destruction was sure to happen.
"No no priye you go and relax." He said confidently as he pushed her out of kitchen, cutting off all her protests. She sighed as he closed the door, "Dasi go to the other kitchen and tell them to begin the preparation for lunch there. " She ordered as she moved towards her temple, a soft smile on her face, today arya's cooking is going to surprise everyone, or maybe shock them.
She laughed as she continued to move, she walked through the gardens when her eyes fell on the flowers, she should make some malas. She called one of the daasis and asked her get all that is needed.
The dasi returned with the things, Draupadi smiled at her and thanked her. She took the basket as she began to collect the flowers, "Maya how is your baby?" She asked as she plucked a rose from its stem, the dasi smiled, "She's good my queen. All because of you my highness, if you hadn't send the gold coins and Rajkumar Nakul and Sahadev's medicine's than we would have lost her. You saved her my queen, gave her another life." The dasi said as she looked at Panchaali with grateful eyes, tears glazing in her eyes.
Panchaali passed the basket to another dasi and moved towards Maya, who had tears in her eyes. Maya and the other daasis gasped in shock as Panchaali wrapped her arms around Maya and hugged her.
"I did nothing. God is the one who helped save your child." She whispered as she pulled back, giving Maya a beautiful smile. Maya pulled back and fell at Draupadi's feet, "your highness, you are very kind but a high born like you can't hug a low born like me." Maya whispered, tears tracing down her cheeks.
Draupadi guided her to stand back up, "we are all humans here so I don't see why I can't hug you." Draupadi as she took the flower basket and began to pluck them, the daasis stood surprised watching their queen collect flowers.
Yudhisthir smiled as he looked over his wife, as always the most beautiful. Her kind behavior had always been something that all the pandavas cherished and he was no different.
Her sweetness, her care for others had always touched his heart. "What are you thinking jyest?" Sahadev asked as he walked in the balcony that looked over the gardens. "The time has come anuj. The time to make her realise her potentials." He whispered as he looked at his younger brother, Sahadev was a bit confused what did he mean by that?
"Jyest I don't understand." Sahadev whispered, "Time has come for Panchaali to learn archery." Whispered Yudhisthir as he looked at his brother, Sahadev raised his brow in surprise. "But Bhraatashree she's pregnant." Sahadev stated the obvious, "hence I suggested archery." Dharmraj said as his eyes settled on his giggling and smiling wife, his heart easing at the sight.
"But why all of sudden bhraatashree?" Sahadev asked confused, "mata Vidhi has prophesied that she would be humiliated and because of our dharma we would be bind us. Than I want to make her so strong that she would able to protect herself." His words made Sahadev nod, that was a good plan, they may not be able to change the future but they would do their best to prevent it.

Draupadi's mouth hanged open in shock as she looked around her kitchen, "my poor kitchen." She whispered as she entered in, where Nakul stood with flour all over the kitchen, from head to toe he was covered in flour too.
There was a foul odour coming from the kitchen, while all the kitchen was a mess. Vegetables were cut in a weird way, some vegetables like cucumber were just snapped in two halves and were put in the pot that was shimmering over the fire.
It was a dark brown thick liquid, that had uncut onions, tomatoes and what looked like chillies floating in it. The vessel was completely black, Draupadi's breath hitched, it was arya Bheem's favorite. Oh god what has Arya Nakul done?
"Things went a little wrong." Nakul said with a sheepish smile, "A little?" Draupadi asked as she looked around at the chaos that her husband's cooking had created, a few spring onions were hanging on the ceiling. How did he do it?
"Panchaali my..." Bheem's voice faded as he looked around the kitchen, horror filling his heart. What had happened?! Who did this?! Draupadi saw Arya Bheem's eyes take in the condition of his kitchen, "My kadai!"
He exclaimed as he looked at now black vessel.
"Nakul!" He shouted, his eyes glaring at his brother. Who smiled sheepishly, "Hi bhraatashree." He said with a finger wave. "Hi ke bache! You are so going to die today." Bheem said as he picked up the closest thing that was a rise bag and threw it at him.
"But jyest listen to me!" He pleaded as he bend down, the rice bag went flying over him. "The only thing I am going to listen are your screams. You destroyed my kitchen!" He shouted, as he ran after his brother, who was running ahead.
Bheem picked up tomatoes and threw at him, Nakul picked up the spatula and used it like a bat hitting each one with efficiency. "Panchaali..." Yudhisthir called out as he, Sahadev and Arjun entered the kitchen, Draupadi's mouth opened in shock as she watched the tomatoes hit her three husbands hard.
Everyone in the room was so shocked, as they watched the tomatoes slip down the faces of the three men, living behind a wet trail of tomato juices. Arjun picked up eggs while Sahadev did the same thing with the laddoos. Yudhisthir took the pot that had the melted sugar.
Bheem and Nakul ran but couldn't protect themselves from the eggs, laddoos or the melted sugar. They retaliated back with their own ingredients, right before her eyes Panchaali watched the entire place go in chaos. She continued to laugh, as tears began tracing down her cheeks. This was just too much, her heart lightened, laughter making her double over.
Kunti entered in, "What is going on here?" She said sternly though mentally she was laughing, "all of you shall be punished. You all will be saying gayatri mantra today 108 times." She said as the pandavas nodded, Panchaali smiled as her mother kissed her forehead. "My poor daughter has to suffer so much." She teased making her daughter laugh. "Ya you're absolutely right mata. We do make her suffer, let us give you a hug Panchaali as a sorry." Arjun said, making Panchaali gasp in horror as her other husbands nodded.
She looked at her husbands who were literally a mess from head to toe, different coloured liquids were tracing down their bodies, their hair were mess. She shook her head, "No no arya." She said as she turned around and ran out of the kitchen, laughter leaving her mouth as she ran towards their personal floor.
She heard their thundering footsteps as they followed her, once she reached their private floor, she let her odhni fall as she concentrated on running. They called out her name, running after her.
She bit her lip as she entered the bathroom. Where a huge pool of water was there, with pillars all around. The pool had various flowers and scented of different fragrances. The pandavas all got separated as they began to look for her.
She hid behind a pillar, her heart beating wildly as a huge smile spread on her face, her heart fluttered as she covered her mouth to stop the laughter that wanted to slip out, "So my little one is hiding here." Arjun's words were barely above whisper as his breath tickled her ear, making her shiver in delight. The humour disappeared as her heart began to beat violently.
He put his arms on either side of her,on the pillar, caging her in between. They said nothing as they looked at each other, forgetting about everything. He lowered his head, sparks ignited making the two gasp in pleasure as their lips met. He pushed her harder in the pillar as she wrapped her arms around his neck, her fingers clutching his hair. His tongue fought with hers for dominance as he fisted her hair but not painfully. His kiss had an urgency, it wasn't soft and tender like Yudhisthir's but held raw power and need. His love and the need to protect her, poses her was clearly being shown, all this years of separation and the agony he felt, he let it show through the kiss. A tear traced down Panchaali's eyes as she could feel the pain of her husband, the silent suffering that he had gone through without her, the fear her vow had woken up in him could be clearly seen.
"I love you so much. You have no idea Panchaali." He whispered as he laid his forehead against hers, a tear tracing down his cheek and falling on her cheek, only to mix with hers.
"You need to understand without you I will be destroyed, the way I was years back. There's no Paarth without his Panchaali." He whispered, his voice laced with so much love that it had her looking up at him. "I love you more arya." She whispered, he kissed her forehead. The two getting lost in their own world, forgetting about everything around. . .
