______________

Jeongguk stuffs his phone in his pocket and stretches his arms with a grin while walking towards the kitchen to get himself a water bottle, but abruptly jumps when he sees someone already there instead.

A familiar someone to be exact.

Woosung is sitting on the island with legs crossed and a computer on his lap, along while chewing an apple as he reads whatever is on his screen. He looks less formal than usual, wearing a white hoodie with sweatpants, to which is hugging his entire body as it swallows him completely. His caramel messy hair is much more messier than usual with circular glasses adjusted to his face, his eyes wide as he continues to let his eyes scroll to his computer.

Staring at Woosung now and remembering of Ten's comments in regards to him really did make Jeongguk take more note onto him. With Lisa, he's very playful but acts cute a lot. Lisa is most definitely tougher than he is, but then again Jeongguk can't just assume that just by the few times he's seen him.

Hm, wouldn't hurt to make some conversation?

So Jeongguk crosses his arms and clears his throat, "You know, a chair would definitely be more comfortable than the counter."

Okay maybe that approach was not ideal while he was concentrated on chewing his apple and reading, so he nearly chokes and falls off the island if it wasn't for his quick instincts to take in what's going on. Breathing calmly now, he moves his gaze to an amused Jeongguk walking towards the fridge and getting a water bottle.

"S-Sorry, Lisa has an exam to do for her online class and didn't want to bother her," Woosung explains quickly, maybe fumbles with his words a lot as Jeongguk drugs a bit of water and faces him, "So I came here.... I don't know, force of habit sitting on counters."

Hm, cute.

Odd, but cute.

Jeongguk only chuckles and waves his hand, "Don't worry about it," And he leans over the Island to the side of Woosung, "So, what are you working on?"

Clearly the boy was not use to this type of attention from his best friend's brother, but regardless he was polite enough to put his apple aside to stare at the screen, "My paper for Philosophy class. Have to write about gun violence and why it's so bad, all that good stuff."

He has an interesting way of speaking. It's quick and clear, it's a reliable voice that makes everything he says sound true. There's no type of stutter unlike his previous time when he spoke, but even his stutters sounds as clear as glass.

What an attractive voice.

"Hm, sounds simple. You seemed concentrated while working on it," Jeongguk chuckles as he walks around the island to lean back beside Woosung, eyes still focused on the side of his face.

He's blushing, the light of the computer screen exposes him just a tad bit.

"Well.... Yeah. I guess it's an opinion based type of writing," Woosung chuckles nervously and pushes more his glasses to the bridge of his nose, still not moving his eyes to look at Jeongguk, "I mean it's due next week but prefer doing it now to get it over with."

Ah, overachiever.

"Busy with things?"

"Beside my classes not really," His blush is a bright crimson red now, "I just like having a free schedule and doing things ahead of time."

"Any friends to hang out with?"

Now Woosung's face grew more anxious, gulping thickly while nervously rubbing his hands, "Not really."

What a very lonely life....

Hm.... Ten wouldn't mind, right?

Jeongguk thinks it over for a bit in his head, weighing out his options but his good heart took control instead. He climbs up the island as well to sits beside him, looking at the screen filled with words of Woosung's writing.

"Come on, let's finish this up. My friend is coming over soon and we're watching a movie, want to join us?"

Woosung blinked.

More a good second Jeongguk thought he was going to say no by how dumbfounded his facial expression was. He looks almost clueless, as though Jeongguk was asking a ghost beside him rather than himself.

Wow he really don't have much friends does he?

His face remains in almost a paused with lips slightly parted. Something about that look makes him appear so childlike and fluffy, as weird as it sounds.

So Jeongguk leans and taps his finger against his nose, unable to stop his smile when Woosung's nose scrunched up in a quick reflex before snapping out whatever trance he was in.

"I don't think staring at me is an answer," Jeongguk amusing states, seeing how flustered the other boy got quickly, "Alright so I'll help you write this paper and you join us for a break, what do you say?"

Woosung was at loss of words but didn't protest when Jeongguk takes his laptop and began to read over what he has so far and the prompt, instantly making edits here and there to make it flow smoothly.

There's nothing Woosung said to this, but he did twitch a small smile.

To which Jeongguk noticed and tried not so smile himself.
