"Seungyeon was in a trance all day because of that! And then later on in the day, when we were getting ready to go back to the dorm, Sungjae-sunbae passed by us and told us that we had worked hard. Seungyeon-ah looked like she was gonna have a heart attack!" Sorn –Sajakul? – giggled.

Soonyoung watched enviously as Jihoon placed a hand on Seungyeon's shoulder and rested his head on it, shaking with laughter. Soonyoung glared at the blushing girl, shooting daggers at the area where Jihoon's head was. He took a long sip of his drink and placed the cup back on the table with a slam, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.

Soonyoung had been passing by Jihoon's broadcasting company and was about to go in and say hello when he saw Wonwoo and Jihoon walk up to the two girls. Since he was standing far away, Soonyoung was unable to recognize the girls at first, but after following the group of friends into the bus, he recognized them as Sorn and Seungyeon from CLC.

For some reason, seeing that it was Sorn that was with Jihoon fueled Soonyoung's jealousy even more. Why did Jihoon keep meeting up with Sorn? Hadn't they seen each other just last week? Why did they need to see each other so often? And why was Jihoon acting so friendly with Sorn, but when it came to being around Soonyoung, he'd become annoyed? Was he one of those straight men? He didn't seem like it...

"Aw, you know I love you!"

Jihoon's light voice snapped Soonyoung out of his thoughts, and Soonyoung refocused his attention on the group of four. Soonyoung frowned. From the way Jihoon was grinning at the girl across from him widely, Soonyoung assumed that those words were directed to Sorn. Soonyoung seethed quietly. So Sorn and Jihoon were dating then, huh?

A strong wave of realization crashed over Soonyoung. He had been flirting with, and crushing on, a taken man. That's why Jihoon had been getting so annoyed by all of his advances. Soonyoung got up from his seat slowly and picked up his jacket, staggering in his steps as he walked towards the exit. He walked to the nearest bus stop tiredly, barely making it to the bench before collapsing.

"I'm an idiot," Soonyoung mumbled.

Soonyoung felt terrible. He had no idea that Jihoon was already in a relationship, not to mention a straight one. Soonyoung dropped his head and buried his face in his palms, squeezing his eyes shut tightly. He was so embarrassed. How could he ever face Jihoon again? He had been such a nuisance this entire time! He had probably been making Jihoon feel uncomfortable...

Soonyoung sighed heavily and pulled himself to his feet reluctantly as he heard the sound of the bus pulling up to the bus stop. He walked up the bus's steps sluggishly, sinking into one of the seats near the back of the bus. He pulled his baseball cap lower over his head, crossed his arms, and closed his eyes, attempting to get a little bit of rest and ease his mind.

Soonyoung opened his eyes frustratedly after a few minutes and pulled out his phone, sending a quick text to let Seokmin know that he was coming over. He let out a small puff of air as he turned off his phone, silently hoping that his best friend would have some alcohol at his apartment to help calm Soonyoung down and cheer him up. Seokmin always knew how to make Soonyoung feel better when he was sad.

A/N: to be honest, I have never written this little dialogue in one of my stories before. rip. either way, I hope that you guys enjoyed it! sorry I posted it so late! was it too short? did it make no sense? if the answer to either of those is yes, then I'm sorry D: I've been really tired as of recently. idk why though. it's really weird. yeah, okay, anyways, I hope that this was okay to read! tbh, I planned on having Mingyu run into Soonyoung and then having Wonwoo and/or Jihoon notice them and call them out, so idk why I didn't do that. I guess that I just didn't feel like doing it? idk. hopefully, it was okay anyways? aghhhhhh, I don't know what to say!
