"Hey, Jihoon-ah," Soonyoung greeted, slightly out of breath after running across the atrium. He beamed at Jihoon. "You're finally out. I've been waiting half an hour for you."

"Why were you waiting that long? What if I'd already gone home?" Jihoon asked.

"You didn't though," Soonyoung replied, smiling happily at Jihoon. Jihoon sighed and scratched his nose.

"Sorry, Soonyoung, but I don't have time to hang out with you tonight. I need to catch up on some work," Jihoon said. Soonyoung frowned.

"Liar."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Jihoon barked defensively.

"I talked to Wonwoo earlier. He said that you guys already finished everything you had to submit," Soonyoung told Jihoon. "Also, you scratched your nose. That's a common lying gesture, one that I know for sure that you do when you're lying."

"Wow, you know me pretty well, huh?" Jihoon scoffed.

"It's getting late. Have you eaten dinner yet?" Soonyoung asked, ignoring Jihoon's snarky remark.

"I was on my way to get dinner. Well, I was before a certain someone stopped me," Jihoon replied pointedly.

"So you haven't had dinner yet," Soonyoung said. "I haven't eaten either. Let's go, I'll treat you to a meal."

"Do I have a choice?" Jihoon sighed, and Soonyoung shook his head.

"Nope. Come on." Soonyoung grinned and grabbed Jihoon's hand, pulling the other boy with him as he walked towards the parking lot.

"When you said you'd be treating me to a meal, I assumed that you meant a meal outside," Jihoon remarked as he glanced around at his unfamiliar surroundings. Soonyoung placed Jihoon's food in front of the producer before setting his own plate down.

"It's more special if I make it for you myself," Soonyoung responded as he sat in his seat across from Jihoon. Jihoon looked at his food warily.

"You didn't poison it or anything, did you?" Jihoon asked, and Soonyoung rolled his eyes.

"Why would I try to poison the guy I like?" Soonyoung retorted, smirking internally when Jihoon blushed.

"What are you saying?" Jihoon muttered.

"It's true though," Soonyoung said. "Why are you so shocked? It's not like I've been hiding it. I've been open about it ever since we first met."

"I didn't think you meant it," Jihoon mumbled. "How could you like me when you didn't even know anything about me?"

"Okay, I'll admit that maybe it wasn't love at first sight like I thought, but I still felt some attraction," Soonyoung told Jihoon.

"So, you wanted to bang me."

"Who says I still don't?" Soonyoung responded playfully.

"Shut up," Jihoon huffed as his cheeks reddened.

"Anyways, my point is, I like you. A lot. And I'd really like to be your boyfriend," Soonyoung said. He pulled a box out of his jacket and opened it, presenting it to Jihoon. Jihoon's eyes widened.

"Soonyoung—"

"Go out with me," Soonyoung blurted out. He swallowed nervously as he waited for Jihoon's response. The apartment was silent for a few minutes until Jihoon finally spoke up.

"Okay," Jihoon agreed, smiling at Soonyoung softly. Soonyoung's mouth dropped open.

"Really?!" Soonyoung looked at Jihoon hopefully, and Jihoon nodded.

"Yeah. Let's date," Jihoon repeated. Soonyoung beamed and jumped out of his chair before running over to Jihoon's side of the table. Jihoon, who had figured out what Soonyoung was about to do, quickly stood up from his chair before Soonyoung tackled him to the ground in a hug.

"Don't make me regret my decision, alright?" Jihoon teased, and Soonyoung shook his head adamantly.

"I won't."
