The guys and I just finished up our LA show for our Better With U Tour. Life has been absolutely crazy ever since I became a part of this band, and I love every minute of it, especially my best friends.
"Thank you LA! We love you!" Kendall yelled into the microphone in front of at least forty thousand Rushers. I headed backstage, following behind Carlos, Logan and Kendall. We changed out of our concert clothes and handed our headsets to the manager of our tour, then went back to the Big Time Rush Tour Bus.
I pushed Kendall out of the way and laid my whole body on the couch, stretching my arms in the process. "Dude, why do you hog the couch every time? There's more than one of us, you know."
I shrugged my shoulders at Kendall and closed my eyes. I didn't get even ten minutes of quiet because the speakers went off and everyone was screaming to the music.
Love me, love me, say you're gonna love me
I know you're ready to go
Love me, love me, say you're gonna love me
Don't leave me out on the floor
"Seriously?! I'm trying to sleep here!"
No one listened to me, everyone kept dancing and screaming like there was no tomorrow. Well, there's no point in trying to sleep, so I might as well have some fun.
"Thought you wanted to sleep? What happened to that?" Natalie poked me while smirking. "Well, maybe if you weren't blasting music, I would be sleeping."
I put down my water and stepped outside the bus to get fresh air. We won't be leaving until about seven, so we would be parked for many hours. I took a walk around the bus and down the street, but I made sure that I wouldn't get lost or mobbed by Rushers.
All was quiet until I heard some soft crying. I peeked around the street and that's when I saw a girl curled up in a ball, laying on the sidewalk. I slowly walked up to her, just in case she was faking it and waiting to attack me like every other teenage girl does.
"Miss? Are you okay?" I tapped her shoulder, bending down to reach her height. She looked up, her face full of tears. Then, her eyes widened and she immediately stopped crying and wiped her face. Jesus Christ James, why do you always do this?
"No. I bought a ticket for your show tonight, but when I got here, I lost my ticket and they wouldn't let me in. I didn't have a ride, and my phone died before I could call anyone. Then I...some guy came over to me and started being all sexual towards me and because I was so scared, I couldn't stop what he was doing. He raped me." When she said all of this, I sat down next to her and pulled her into me, trying to calm her down.
"I'm so sorry this happened to you. A cute girl like you doesn't deserve this. Come on, I'll take you back with me." Even though I could potentially get in huge trouble for bringing a Rusher to our location, I had to help her and make sure she was okay.
She nodded and slowly stood up, her arms still tightly wrapped around me. I used my free arm and wrapped it around her neck, still holding her close.

"Guys, don't get mad at me for this, but this is Kylie." I introduced Kylie to the guys, and also Camille, Jo and Natalie. Me and Jo decided that it would better to see other people rather than each other because it isn't good for us if we're together.
"James, we talked about this." Logan stated, his eyes on Kylie. I flicked Logan in the head and backed him away from Kylie because she was already scared from what happened to her just hours ago.
"Kylie, I'm Kendall. That's Logan and Carlos. You've already met James." Kendall looked annoyed that I disobeyed the tour rules. Rule number two states that no member of Big Time Rush is permitted to bring any fan to our location, no matter the circumstances.
"I know who you all are. Nice to meet you guys, though." A half smile formed on Kylie's lips. I asked Kylie beforehand if it was okay to tell the guys what happened if they asked, and she said it was.
"Kylie is a victim of rape and sexual assault. I found her when I was taking a walk and I couldn't leave her there. I know I broke the rules, but you guys have to let this one slide." I said, pointing at Kylie's bruises and tattered clothing.
"Oh my god. No one say anything about this to anyone." Carlos said, grabbing onto Natalie's shoulder and peeking around her head.
We all sat down and just talked. Nothing in particular was brought up, other than our lives, but that's about it. Kylie's message needs to be heard, but only when the time is right, and now isn't the time.
