Natalie was squirming around in her bed, shaking her head in the process. I sat up and rubbed my hand up and down her arm to try and calm her down.

"Natalie, love, it's okay." I whispered, feeling her body loosen up a little bit. Her eyes slowly opened, and when she saw me, she pulled herself up, laying her head against my chest. Her breathing went back to normal.

"I- my dream, it had my dad in it." She stuttered on her words, which told me that she didn't want to even think about, and I respected that. I took my free hand and rubbed it on her back, letting her know that all was okay and that I was there for her.

"Do you want to talk about it? If not, that's okay."

I could barely see her because it was so dark, but I saw her head shake back and forth. I shook my head in response and told her to get some sleep and that I'll be here when she wakes up. When she fell asleep, I slowly got out of her bed and left her room, leaving the door slightly open just in case she got up and needed something.

I put my shoes on and I had to go back to my apartment, considering it was one in the morning and the guys and my mom are probably wondering where I am, but if they're smart enough, they'll know I'm at Natalie's.

I walked through the dead silent lobby and turned the corner, colliding with a body in the process. "Emma?" My eyes widened. Everything that happened between me and her hit me like a wave hitting the sand at the beach. It made me think about what I did to Natalie that hurt her so bad.

"Kendall. Hey."

I gave the most fakest smile and tried to move past her. "Not so fast, lover boy." Oh my god, someone kill me already. "I- I have to get to my room." I tried to brush past her again, but I couldn't. She had me cornered, in a literal corner. "We never finished what we started." I saw the smirk start to form on her face, and that's when I knew that I had to get out of there, and fast.

"That's because we aren't going to finish anything. I have a girlfriend and I plan on staying with her." I ducked under her arm and bolted down the hallway, reaching my door.

"You can't hide from me Kendall. You'll be mine again, I promise you that."

I laughed to myself then called out to her. "Yeah, okay. Have fun with that." Then I entered my door. Everyone was asleep, and I was already falling asleep from standing. I took my shoes off and put them on the mat, the headed to my room. I crawled under the covers and immediately fell asleep.

I was awake before anyone else was, so I headed back over to Natalie's. She gave me a key so that whenever I wanted to go over, I could. It was about eight when I got to Natalie's, so she was still sleeping and usually doesn't get up until about ten or so.

I tiptoed into Natalie's room and crawled in next her, inching my body towards her and wrapping my arms around her torso. I kissed the back of her head and closed my eyes, hoping to get a bit more sleep.

I sang quietly to her and I felt her body start to move. Shoot. I think I might've woken her up. When I didn't feel her move again, I let out a breath and I actually fell asleep in a matter of seconds just being in her presence.

"Kendall? Wake up." I groaned, then I eventually sat up, glancing at the time. Ten-thirty. Oh my god, I was supposed to be at Rocque Records by ten! I flew off the bed and pushed her door open, darting out and not even saying bye to Natalie. I didn't even bother to stop at my apartment to change my clothes, because if I did, Gustavo would be even more mad than he already is.

"There you are! Are you trying to get all of us in trouble?" Logan stated, then pointed at Gustavo who was fuming already. I looked at him then back at Logan. "Look, I came home around one, then went back to Natalie's around eight and fell asleep. I totally forgot that I needed to come here."

"You're going to ruin your career if you keep missing sessions, Kendall. And you know that, right?" This time, James was talking.

"Yes, I know that." I was getting annoyed now, especially since I completely ignored Gustavo's five minute long outburst towards me.
