An AU where Izuku has a 'Match Maker' quirk

The quirk allows him to see peoples compatibility with each other (in both romantic & platonic ways) - He can't see their compatibility with himself

The quirk presents itself in a form of a mutation - it makes him look like an incubus

After every match Izuku successfully makes a small 'token' will appear out of the people in involved - Platonic relationships are a green orb with a plus sign on them - Romantics are a pinkish-red color with a heart on it

Both of these do different things for Izuku - The more platonic tokens he collects the more he can heal, both himself and others - Romantic tokens increase his power physically, but after a certain point it will start unlocking his 'incubus' abilities

His quirk is entirely reliant on others to work and because of that he's constantly focused on other people to the point he forgets himself

Izuku is really lonely - He doesn't have friends of his own (Stigma around people with 'demonic' quirks) and he feels like he is undesirable to others (Internalized hatred for his appearance from societal view)

Maybe make it a ShinDeku?

Midoriya finds no romantic success for Shinso and Izuku starts wondering if he's doing something wrong. But Shinso starts to make him see that Izuku is the only one for him.

Since Shinso has faced quirk discrimination, he feels no differently about Izuku's appearance and they both can connect on having both faced cruel unfairness.

maybe you could make this a support/gen Ed course deku because not many people interact with him, wich means not a lot of matches to be made, wich means his quirk isn't very strong.

I was planning on having him start in the support course, but after he gets stronger he gets added to hero training so he can get a 'Situational Hero Licence' - Basically that is where someone id technically a hero, but it's not their main job

Maybe have this be a TodoShinDeku because all three of them have gone through so much because of their quirks.

Have Bakugo be a complete jerk to Izuku and have Izuku just not care at all. ("STUPID DEKU!" "Shut up Bakugo, I have more important things to worry about than your idiotic screaming and inferiority complex.")

Have Izuku not go to U.A. at all and instead work as a group therapist. By using his quirk he can nudge people in the right direction for healthy relationships.

Have young Izuku run into young Hawks and have Hawks teach him how to fly properly (if you give Izuku wings).

I always love books where a main character has some sort of weird fear, so maybe give Izuku phobophobia (fear of fear) or papaphobia (fear of the Pope [this would actually make sense because of him being a demon]) or maybe somniphobia (fear of sleep). Or pull out all the stops and give him a fear of mongooses and paperclips.

Make his dorm room really fluffy and soft. Everyone would be expecting a pentagram or something closer to Tokoyami's dorm, but instead they see a pastel room filled to the brim with soft surfaces and really cutesy things.

Instead of the Dekusquad in the actual series, maybe have Izuku make friends with a bunch of kids with mutation quirks and people who were bullied for their quirk?

Have the League of Villains kidnap Izuku because they think he's evil and will join them.
