Childhood Frenemies to Enemies to Lovers back to Enemies, BakuDeku turned Deku×??? Fantasy AU

Izuku and Bakugou are 2 Princes. Thier kingdoms have always had a very rocky, unstable relationship.

The two princes were the same way, their parents introduced them young hoping that they would have a good bond to settle things between thier kingdoms.

It worked for awhile, until Katsuki realized Izuku would never get a power (only creatures like dragons, fae, and such get magic - Izuku isn't any of those)

He became more and more aggressive towards the greenette as time when on, to the point of physical violence disguised as 'training'.

Durring his teen years he was still extremely cruel towards Izuku, but he would also manipulate him into loving him, wanting to combine thier kingdoms so he could have more people to rule over.

It worked and Izuku fell for him, but as the tears past, the abuse Izuku was facing via his partner and the suffering of the now combined kingdom nearly broke him.

He ended up fleeing the palace in a state of hysteria, running into a group of resistors, lead by none other than Izuku's former personnel guard, Hitoshi.

Hitoshi held his blade pointed towards his former prince's throat, his heart clenching, screaming at him to not kill his prince, the one he'd loved from afar for so long.

"Hitoshi-"

"Silence!" The lavender haired male demanded, "You betrayed us! You betrayed me!" He yelled, noticing the way his- no Izuku flinched at the raised tone, "I followed you blindly for so long! We all did! Every single one of your subjects had faith in you! You could've been an amazing king, but you decided to give yourself to him-"

"I know!" Izuku admitted, tears streaming down his face as he began to giggle hysterically in between his screaming, "God damn it, I know! I shouldn't have married Katsuki! It's the worst mistake I've ever made, but I don't know how to take it back because if I try he'll kill me and everyone else who was apart of my home!"

The resistors stared in shock for a moment, Izuku's words settleding in, before they all flinched at a sudden scream that erupted from thier former prince.

"I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!" Izuku screeched, ripping out chunks of his hair, blood running down his face from the tearing of hair from skin, "Please, I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry, I can't-" Izuku babbled incoherently, nearly silent, a harsh comparison to his booming screams a moment ago.

That's when it set in for the resistors spectating this whole ordeal. That's when it set in for Hitoshi.

Izuku hadn't abandoned his people. He'd become a prisoner, a slave to the person he wedlocked.

And he can't escape for fear of what will happen to his remaining people.

This was inspired by my cousin saying he can handle Enemies to lovers, but not Lovers to enemies, so I came up with this and its it's both.

Idk if Shinsou is going to end up with Izuku. He did love Izuku and he still does to some extent, but he also loves some else.

So, possibly HawksDeku? (Everyone in this AU is 18+, not sure if I made that clear earlier), feel free to suggest other ships.

Also, what should Izuku be? He doesn't have magic so the more 'inherently magical' creatures/races are out. Possibly an Elf? Should I make him human? Suggest what you like
