prince
despite morality's attempts to get us to talk, it hasn't happened so far, but it's not like it's affected either of us so far, but i'm a little...no, no, no, no, i'm fine! just a-okay! i can live without him!
i sigh, rubbing my face, looking at the wall, it's bare...that's...okay.
i hear the sound of footsteps. "hey there kiddo?" i hear, and i glance over my shoulder, must be moral-
it's anxiety, i mean, we do kinda have the same voice, just not used to hearing that tone from him. "knew that would get your attention" he grunts in his usual fashion.
"what do you want?" i raise a brow, turning and facing him, the eyeshadow packed on, along with the foundation. he really needs to find a matching shade.
"i..." he stops and sighs, muttering to himself. "i came to say...i am...god, why am i doing this...i'm sorry, okay?" he slouches a little more and looks down, rubbing his eyes with his sleeve. "...i'm sorry too" i say reluctantly. "what i did was uncalled for and certainly not a the correct manner to have handled what happened" i add.
"sorry i just encouraged you to act like that" he smiles a little but it falls slightly. "i should have just not...tried to push your buttons" he adds, kicking the ground a little.
i step forward and he glances to me with a raised brow. "bring it in" i smile, arms out and he makes a 'pfft' noise but scoots forward slightly and wraps his arms around me and i do so for him.
"you know, maybe it's like morality said" he mumbles against my shoulder and i just think of all the corny, inspirational quotes that happy the dwarf could of come up with.
"what was that?" i ask hesitantly.
"he's only being a lil' mean to you because he likes you" he chuckles through a small sniffle. "sorry, i've just been...dealing with...a stuffy nose, yeah" he adds, a little unconvincing for the guy who makes a list of excuses to say when not wanting to go to a party.
"does this cloud of gloom need to start raining?" i laugh softly and i can just tell that his eyes are rolling even though i can't see them. "you're such a loser" he says, moving his head so he looks at me and he sees my raised brow.
"my loser" he adds and i smile, even though it's not what i wanted to hear, i'm glad i did and we both just lean in once more.
despite his pale skin tone, his lips are the most beautiful shade of pink in my opinion.
