Your child's reaction to their new sibling
~ Zarkon ~
When your due date finally came and you went into labor, Zarkon took you to Haggar's office, leaving Gatrea in her Dayak's care. Giving birth wasn't something you enjoyed; in fact, you hated it, but holding your newborn daughter in your arms for the first time was worth all the pain, sweat and tears. Your new daughter mostly looked like you, but she had Zarkon's skin tone, and she would have his eye color, but neither of you knew that yet. Zarkon had been in the room the entire time, allowing you to hold one of his hands when it was time for you to start pushing. Now that your daughter was in your arms, neither of you could stop looking at her.
"She's so perfect, just like you, kitten." Zarkon whispered as he sat in a chair that was next to the comfortable infirmary bed you were laying in.
"Yeah, she is. What should we name her, though? I kind of like the name Zara, but what do you think?" You asked your husband with curiosity, not looking away from your sleeping daughter.
"I think Zara is a good name for her." Zarkon agreed, smiling at his and your new baby girl.
Zara opened and closed her mouth a few times and wiggled around on your chest. You had a feeling that she was hungry and you brought her closer to your right nipple, watching as she latched on and began to drink. You lightly caressed her slightly damp hair, feeling how soft it was. A few minutes later Zara finished with her first meal and fell asleep after you carefully burped her, causing you and Zarkon to smile wider. Eventually Zarkon sent Dayak a message, requesting that she bring Gatrea to meet her new baby sister; Gatrea seemed to be feeling shy, which worried you a little.
"Come here, Gatrea." Zarkon said quietly as he knelt down as far as he could, holding his arms out to his arms.
Gatrea cautiously walked over to her father, unsure of what to do or say. Zarkon carefully picked her up once she reached him, letting her sit on his lap. She looked at the tiny baby that laid on your chest, not wanting to say anything.
"Meet Zara, your new baby sister." You told your first daughter, not wanting her to be nervous around you or Zara.
"Are you feeling alright, momma?" Gatrea whisper-asked, noticing that you somehow looked different.
"I'm fine, I promise." You answered in a reassuring tone, giving her a weak smile.
"She's so tiny." Gatrea said quietly, turning her attention to Zara.
"Yes, she is. You can hold her later, if you want." You offered, wanting her to get used to being a big sister, but not wanting to force it.
"Okay." Was all Gatrea said as she stared at Zara, feeling a little more comfortable.
Zarkon didn't say anything as he made sure that his and your oldest daughter didn't fall as she sat on her knees on his lap, getting a better look at her new baby sister. Gatrea became more curious after a while, no longer feeling nervous. Dayak took her leave, knowing that she wasn't needed at the moment. Zara happily slept on your chest, her belly full of your milk and not having a care in the world. You and Zarkon were happy that Zara was finally a part of your little family and that Gatrea fully calmed down after a while.

~ Alfor ~
Your due date came and went quickly, but you didn't go into labor as expected. You and Alfor were worried that something was wrong until the next morning when you finally went into labor. Coran and Melenor were taking care of Lotarius while Alfor took you to the infirmary. Neither of you were expecting your daughter to be born one day late, but you were relieved that nothing was wrong. Going through labor was hell, but giving birth to your daughter went quicker than you thought it would.
While your new daughter was being cleaned off, Alfor noticed how tired you looked. You were exhausted and sweaty, but you wanted to see your daughter. As soon as one of the nurses placed your daughter in your arms, tears of happiness flowed out of your eyes and down your cheeks. She had your skin tone, your eyes and eye color, ears and face shape. She had Alfor's white hair and his nose shape, but she didn't have his Altean markings.
"We finally have a daughter." Alfor whispered as he sat in a chair that was put next to the bed you were laying on.
"I know, neither can I. I never thought we'd have such a perfect daughter together." You said quietly, smiling as your daughter suckled from your right nipple.
"What do you want to name her, princess?" Alfor asked you with curiosity, keeping his voice low so as not to startle his and your new daughter.
"I like the name Fallara." You said softly; you had seen the name Fallara somewhere and thought it was a pretty name.
"Princess Fallara. It's perfect." Alfor said out loud, but quietly, liking how the name sounded.
You were about to say something when Fallara let go of your right nipple. You put her over your shoulder and carefully patted her on the back until she burped before laying her on your chest again. It was only a matter of time before Lotarius was able to meet his little sister. Coran, Melenor and Allura dropped Lotarius off at the infirmary, knowing that they would get to meet Fallara the next day. Lotarius was hesitant to meet Fallara in fear that he might make her cry, but you and Alfor did everything you both could to make him feel less nervous about it.
"Lotarius, this is Fallara, your younger sister." Alfor said quietly as he helped Lotarius up onto the bed you laid on so that he could sit by your side.
"Momma?" Lotarius asked as quietly as he could, looking at you.
"I'm fine." You replied softly, reassuring your son that everything was okay.
Lotarius was still a little wary of his younger sister, but he trusted you and his father. He scooted up the bed as far as he could, wanting to get a better look at Fallara. Fallara looked at Lotarius, causing you and Alfor to smile.
"Hi Fallara, I'm Lotarius, your big brother." Lotarius said quietly as he looked at Fallara, feeling more at ease as he spoke to his younger sister.
You and Alfor smiled as Lotarius began quietly talking to Fallara, introducing himself and telling her about her nursery. You both knew that your son was a shy child, but with a little encouragement he would open up to those around him, including his younger sister. Lotarius soon warmed up to Fallara, liking the idea of having a younger sibling. You and Alfor were happy that your son liked his younger sister; you both could already imagine them going on little adventures around the Castle when Fallara was old enough.

~ Blaytz ~
Time flew by and before you knew it you went into labor five days before your actual due date. Blaytz had to rush you to the infirmary, so Iris was left in the care of her nanny. Giving birth to twins was extremely painful, but in the end it was worth it. At some point Blaytz had actually fainted, but he quickly woke up when the sound of a baby's crying echoed throughout the room. Once both of your babies' cords were cut and they both were cleaned off, they were placed in your arms.
Your hormones were all over the place as you cried in happiness as soon as you got to hold your two newborn babies for the first time. Both of your babies had your ears and your hair color, but they had a mixture of you and Blaytz' facial features; they had Blaytz' light blue skin and light pink feelers just like their father. Your daughter had your eye color while your son had Blaytz' grey eyes. Both babies were kind of small and would have to spend a few days in the infirmary with you, but you and Blaytz would be with them until you and you and your twins were able to leave. Blaytz was crying along with you, feeling nothing but happiness and love.
"I can't believe that they're finally here." You whispered, allowing both of your newborns to have their first meal.
"I know, neither can I. It seems like it was only yesterday that you told me that you were pregnant. You did so well, cutie." Blaytz said, smiling as he wiped his tears away.
"I think that we should name our daughter Lyra and our son Blaze." You said, turning your attention to your husband.
"Blaze and Lyra are perfect." Blaytz agreed, giving you a quick, passionate kiss.
"I can't believe that there's two of them." You whispered in awe, looking at your newborn twins as they laid on your chest.
"Neither can I. Two at once, who would have thought." Blaytz commented, a cheeky grin on his face.
"Oh, you." You scoffed in a tired voice, looking at your husband again.
As Blaytz sat in a chair that was next to the infirmary bed you laid on, he was unable to look away from the twins. You fed Lyra and Blaze when they were hungry, Blaze feeding from your left breast while Lyra drank from the right. As they drank, the pressure in your breasts was soothed a little. Eventually they had their fill and were gently burped before they fell asleep on your chest, not a single care in the world as they slept on you. At some point you wanted to see Iris, so Blaytz went to go get her.
"Okay Iris, are you ready?" Blaytz asked his and your oldest daughter as he stood right outside of the infirmary, looking down at her as she held his right hand.
"Yes, daddy. I'm ready." Iris answered quietly, feeling a little nervous.
Blaytz gave her a reassuring smile before leading her into the infirmary and over to the bed you were laying on. Iris felt a little more nervous about meeting her new siblings as she followed her father. Blaytz lifted her up and let her sit on the edge of the bed, giving her a better view of her new siblings. He smiled softly as he once again sat in the chair, knowing that Iris would like her new brother and sister.
"Iris, this is Lyra and Blaze, your new baby sister and brother." You told your oldest daughter, introducing her to her new siblings.
"They’re so tiny, mommy. Was I that tiny when I was a baby?" Iris queried quietly, looking at her new brother and sister as they laid on your chest.
"Yes, you were." You answered, smiling at your oldest child.
"And very, very cute." Blaytz added, a fond smile on his face.
"Can I hold them later?" Iris asked in a quiet voice, wanting to hold her siblings, but not right away.
"Yes, but not yet. I have to stay here with them for a few days, but when I can leave the infirmary with them, you can hold them." You told Iris, happy that she was in the infirmary with you and Blaytz.
Iris scooted back a little so that she could sit further on the bed, making sure not to sit on your legs. She remembered what her father told her about you being very sore and kept that in mind, not wanting to accidentally hurt you. She already knew not to talk too loudly, knowing that you and her father could hear her and not wanting to wake Blaze and Lyra up. Having three children was surreal to you and Blaytz, but it was something the two of you loved. You both were glad that Iris liked her new baby brother and sister, knowing that she was going to be a great big sister. When you were finally able to take a nap, Blaytz took Iris to get something to eat, making sure to get some F/f for you when you woke up.

~ Gyrgan ~
When you went into labor a whole day earlier than expected, Gyrgan rushed you to the infirmary, making sure that the nanny arrived to take care of Adu before taking you to the doctor. Neither of you were expecting you to go into labor a day before your expected due date, but you both figured that your daughter was ready to come into the world a day early. Going through labor and childbirth was long and painful, but it was over as soon as a baby's cry was heard throughout the infirmary. It wasn't long before your daughter was placed in your arms, her crying ceasing when she sensed you. Your daughter looked mostly Human, but she had Gyrgan's skin tone, hair color and when she opened her eyes, you saw that she had his eye color, too.
Right after having Adu you were hesitant to have any more children because you were afraid of dying during childbirth, but you were glad that you managed to get over that fear. You smiled when you started feeding your adorable new daughter, thankful that she was healthy. Gyrgan, who was sitting in a chair at your bedside, smiled as he watched his and your newborn daughter suckling on your left nipple.
"She's so tiny." Gyrgan noted in a quiet voice, happy that you made it through giving birth.
"I know. I'm glad though; it was easier this time." You groggily mumbled, feeling tired, but happy.
"What should we name her?" Gyrgan queried, turning his attention to you.
"Gemma; her name should be Gemma." You said out loud, wanting to hear the name out loud.
"Gemma. I like it." Gyrgan spoke, liking the name you chose.
Gemma looked up at you when she finished drinking her first meal. You made sure to gently burp her, not wanting her to get an upset stomach. While Gemma was awake, Gyrgan went to get Adu and bring him to the infirmary so that he could meet his new little sister. Adu was still extremely hesitant to become a big brother, but you figured if you and Gyrgan kept interactions short, he would get used to her; you both didn't want to force him into anything, after all.
"Hi momma." Adu whispered shyly when Gyrgan sat down and let him sit on his lap.
"Hi Adu. I want you to meet your new baby sister, Gemma." You said softly, holding Gemma up enough for your son to see.
"She looks like a potato." Adu said in confusion, tilting his head slightly to the left.
Before you could say anything, Gyrgan had to cover his mouth, snickering at what his and your son just said. A lot of kids thought that their newborn siblings looked like a potato, but you didn't think that Adu was going to be one of those kids. Gemma looked at her father and older brother with curiosity as they looked at her. Eventually she fell asleep, so Gyrgan sent a notification to a servant to bring some food to the infirmary; after all, you were hungry after everything you went through.

~ Trigel ~
When you went into labor Trigel called upon Astrid's nanny to take care of her while she took you to the infirmary. You strongly disliked going through all the pain, but after your son came into the world the pain slowly faded away. Trigel was there for you through the entire process, letting you hold one of her hands and comforting you as best as she could while you were giving birth. You couldn't help but cry in happiness when your son was placed in your arms; even Trigel found herself crying along with you. The doctor and nurses went to the back room, giving you and Trigel some privacy.
"I can't believe it, we have a son." You whispered in disbelief, looking at your newborn son as he laid on top of you.
"Neither can I. It's going to be wonderful having him as a part of our family." Trigel said in agreement, keeping her voice quiet.
Your son had the usual facial features, ears and perky white antennae of the Dalterion sperm donor, but he had your hair color, skin tone and when he opened his eyes, you both saw that he had your eye color. You and Trigel came up with plenty of names together, but it was hard to narrow it down to just one.
"We still need to come up with a name for him." Trigel said, looking at you as she spoke.
"I know, but what should we name him? Veldar, or Tidar?" You queried, looking up at your wife.
"Veldar sounds nice." Trigel suggested, liking the way it sounded out loud.
"Then that's what we'll name him; Veldar." You agreed, smiling softly as your gaze returned to Veldar.
When Veldar got hungry, you allowed him to latch onto your right nipple. You sighed in relief as he began drinking, the suckling motion relieving some of the pressure. While you were feeding him, Trigel went to go get Astrid. Astrid was worried when the two of you had to suddenly leave that morning. By the time Trigel returned to the infirmary with Astrid, you were finished feeding and burping Veldar.
"Is that my baby brother?" Astrid whisper-asked Trigel in a nervous voice as she was picked up.
"Yes, it is. His name is Veldar." Trigel whispered to her and your daughter calmly.
Astrid was a little nervous to meet her baby brother, but she trusted both of her mothers. She got to sit on the edge of the bed so that she could get a better view of Veldar. You were happy to see your daughter; she was so worried when you had to leave, so having her in the infirmary was nice.
"Hi Veldar, I'm Astrid, your big sister." Astrid whispered as she looked at her new baby brother with curiosity.
"Do you like your baby brother?" You asked your daughter in a soft tone, smiling at her.
"Yes." Astrid said in awe when Veldar looked directly at her.
As Trigel sat in the chair that was next to the bed you were laying on, the two of you looked at each other and smiled. You both were happy that Astrid liked having a baby brother despite being a little insecure about becoming a big sister. Veldar eventually fell asleep against your chest, but Astrid couldn't take her eyes off of him. You felt emotional again, but you wiped your tears away before they could slide down your cheeks and drip down. Trigel leaned over and pressed a light kiss against your forehead, handing you a tissue since your tears of happiness kept coming.
