~ Zarkon ~
When Gatrea's left upper front tooth started wiggling around she was excited, knowing that it was going to fall out soon. She remembered that you once told her about the tooth fairy, so she couldn't wait for her loose tooth to fall out. However, it didn't happen as soon as she wanted it to. One afternoon during lunch, Gatrea's tooth finally came out when she ate something similar to an apple during lunch. She wrapped it into a tissue and placed it in her lunchbox, making sure to keep it safe until later.
"Momma, papa, guesss what?" Gatrea asked when her Dayak brought her to the living room.
You and Zarkon looked at your oldest daughter when she ran into the living room, both of you noticing how she had a slight lisp. Zara, who was sitting on her father's lap, looked at her big sister with curiosity when she practically bounded into the room.
"What?" You queried, helping Gatrea up onto the couch after she put her lunchbox on the coffee table and opened it, taking out the tissue that held her tooth.
"I losst my toof, ssee?" Gatrea asked with excitement, opening up the tissue and showing both you and her father the tooth that had fallen out.
"So you did!" You said happily, giving her a side hug.
"Did it hurt when it came out?" Zarkon questioned, looking at the small tooth that laid in the center of the tissue.
"Nope!" Gatrea answered, a big smile on her face; she didn't care that she had a temporary gap in the upper row of her teeth.
"That's good." Zarkon responded proudly, smiling down at his daughter.
After you let go of your daughter, you reminded her that she would need to put her tooth under her pillow right before she went to sleep. That's exactly what she did after getting ready for bed, almost too excited to fall asleep. Zarkon didn't really agree with Gatrea believing in the tooth fairy, but he respected your traditions and didn't argue with you about it. The very next morning, Gatrea found one GAC under her pillow and showed it to you and Zarkon during breakfast.

When Lotarius first noticed that one of his teeth were loose, he panicked and ran into the living room where you and his Alfor were. Fallara was taking a nap in the nursery at the time, so he had you and his father's undivided attention. After he told you and Alfor what was going on, Alfor calmly explained everything. One evening a week later after Lotarius' tooth became loose, he was casually eating his vegetables during dinner. Right as Lotarius bit into something that resembled a carrot, he yelped when he felt his tooth come out.
"Momma, papa, my toof fell out." Lotarius said as he held up the fork that held the carrot, showing you and his father the tooth that was stuck in the cooked orange vegetable.
"Are you alright?" Alfor queried, looking at his and your son.
"I thhink- I tasste blood!" Lotarius began to say, before panicking a little when he tasted blood coming from where his tooth fell out.
You quickly got up out of your chair and went to the kitchen. Alfor, Lotarius and Fallara watched as you left; Alfor knew that you were just getting a damp cloth for Lotarius. And, a few moments later, you returned to the dining room and sat down again before giving the damp washcloth to your son. While you were away, Lotarius took his tooth out of the carrot and put it on his napkin.
"Here, this should help stop the bleeding and the pain." You told Lotarius as he put part of the washcloth in his mouth where his tooth fell out.
"Thhank you momma." Lotarius mumbled as he waited for the bleeding to stop, as well as the pain that came with it.
"The bleeding will stop soon." Alfor reassured Lotarius in a calm voice, knowing that losing a first tooth was a stressful situation for his and your son.
Lotarius glanced up at his father before looking at his tooth again. He knew that a new one would grow in its place, but until then he was going to have to be careful when drinking water or juice. Eventually Lotarius' gum stopped bleeding and it stopped hurting for the most part, and he was able to finish eating his dinner. As it turns out, there was an Altean version of the tooth fairy, but instead of leaving money, a small toy was left in the tooth's place.

When Iris woke up one morning, she felt an uncomfortable feeling in her mouth. It wasn't until she brushed her teeth that she found out why; her upper right front tooth was extremely loose and wobbly. She knew that her baby teeth would eventually fall out, but she was nervous about it. She showed you and Blaytz her loose tooth during breakfast one morning, nervous about the whole situation. To help calm your daughter down, you told her about the tooth fairy who would leave something under her pillow if she put her tooth under it after it fell out.
Iris felt a little calmer, feeling better knowing that she would get something in exchange for her tooth, and knowing that a new one would eventually take its place. The rest of the week went on as it normally did, and when Iris got home from school one day you gave her one of the cookies you baked while she was away. Blaytz was in the dining room with you and Iris, and the twins were in their high chairs. Upon taking a bite of the cookie, Iris felt a somewhat sharp pain and let out a yelp, noticing that her once loose tooth was stuck in the cookie.
"Are you alright?" You asked your daughter in a concerned tone, quickly noticing the tooth that was stuck in the cookie; it wasn't even a hard cookie.
"Mommy, my toof came out." Iris replied, taking her tooth out of the cookie and showing it to you.
"I see. Are you alright?" You queried, hoping that your oldest daughter wasn't experiencing any discomfort.
"I think sso." Iris lisped before realizing that she was bleeding a little where her tooth once was.
You got up and went to the kitchen so that you could get a damp washcloth. Iris wasn't bleeding too badly, but it was enough for her to notice. A few moments later, you returned to the dining room with a cool damp washcloth, giving it to your daughter.
"It seems like your tooth really wanted to come out." Blaytz commented humorously, a grin on his face.
"Yeah, it did." Iris agreed, gently holding the damp washcloth against her slightly sore gum to stop the bleeding.
You smiled, knowing that Iris wasn't afraid of losing her tooth anymore since it had just fallen out. When Iris' gum didn't feel as sore and once she was sure that it wasn't bleeding anymore, she proceeded to eat the cookie you gave her as an after school snack. That night, Iris put her tooth under her pillow right before bed and found a coin in its place the next morning. Blaytz didn't mind her believing in the tooth fairy; in fact, he thought it was a 20 tradition to take part in.

Adu didn't like having a loose tooth; in fact, he absolutely hated it. It had been loose for nearly a week and was very uncomfortable for him. It was his left lower front tooth, so it always felt extremely uncomfortable whenever he had to brush his teeth. Not only that, but it wiggled back and forth every time his tongue came into contact with it. The tooth got looser with every day that passed.
It hurt every time he tried to pull it out, which only made the whole situation worse. He needed it out, even if it was the last thing he did. So, one day after he got home from school, Adu went to the bathroom after grabbing some string out of the Palace art studio. He tied one end to his loose tooth before tying the other end to the bathroom doorknob. He knew that it was going to hurt badly when he slammed the door shut, but it had to be done; it wasn't until you and Gyrgan heard a door slam shut followed by Adu's scream of pain coming from the bathroom that you both knew that something was going on.
"Adu, what's wrong?" Gyrgan asked loudly as he knocked on the bathroom door.
It only took a few moments for the bathroom door to open, revealing Adu with a slight trail of blood running down his chin, his right fist closed around something. You rushed into the bathroom, quickly getting a damp, cold washcloth and giving it to your son. You and Gyrgan noticed a piece of string in the trash can, knowing exactly what happened.
"Adu, did you just pull your loose tooth out?" You questioned your son as calmly as you could, already knowing the answer.
"Uh huh." Adu quietly answered, his gum still hurting as he opened his hand, showing you and Gyrgan his tooth.
"That was a very dangerous thing to do. Thank Willow you're alright." Gyrgan told Adu in a firm tone, thankful that his and your son was going to be alright.
"Where did you learn how to do that?" You queried, wondering where your son learned how to remove his tooth in such a way.
"Zaxth." Adu replied in a simple tone, suddenly feeling a little embarrassed for pulling his tooth out by force.
You weren't expecting Zax, a Rygnirathian boy who was in Adu's class, to teach Adu how to pull his tooth out by tying it to a doorknob with a piece of string. Gyrgan quickly went back to the living room to get Gemma, happy to see that she had only been playing with one of her toys. It took a few minutes before Adu's gum finally stopped bleeding, and he made sure to wipe the blood off of his chin before putting the washcloth in the hamper. Adu learned his lesson and decided to let the rest of his baby teeth fall out on their own when the time came. You had once told Adu about the tooth fairy, so he left his tooth under his pillow that night and found a coin in its place the next morning.

After a long day at school, Astrid was super excited for you and Trigel to come pick her up. For the past week her lower right front tooth had been loose, so when she ate her sandwich for lunch that day, her tooth just popped out; it didn't even hurt or bleed when it fell out. She wasn't the first in her class to lose a tooth, but she certainly wasn't the last, either. When she saw you and Trigel, she quickly walked over to the two of you.
"Mama! Mommy! Guesss what?" Astrid asked with excitement once she was standing in front of you and Trigel, smiling so that you both could see the gap in her teeth.
"You lost your tooth!" You said when you saw the gap in your daughter's teeth, smiling down at her.
"How did it happen?" Trigel, who had been pushing a stroller with Veldar in it, queried.
"It fell out when I ate my ssandwithss. It didn't even hurt." Astrid answered with a slight lisp, bouncing on her heels a few times.
"That's wonderful, butterfly." Trigel responded, smiling down at her and your daughter.
As you, Trigel and Astrid left the school, you held Astrid's hand while Trigel pushed the stroller. Astrid was aware of the tooth fairy, and Trigel didn't mind her believing in the Earthen folklore. Once the four of you were back home and relaxing in the living room, Astrid opened her lunchbox and took her tissue clad tooth out. Veldar was sitting nearby on the floor, playing with one of his favorite toys.
"Ssee, here'ss my toof." Astrid said as she sat on the couch in between you and Trigel, opening up the tissue so that you both could see her tooth.
"Yes, we see. It's very nice. Are you going to put it under your pillow tonight?" You asked your daughter with curiosity, already knowing that she would.
"Uh huh, that way the toof fairy will leave me a pressent." Astrid replied with excitement, smiling up at you.
Trigel smiled at her and your daughter; it was nice seeing the young girl so excited about getting a visit from the 'tooth fairy'. That evening during dinner, Astrid had to be careful when she drank her water, otherwise it would trickle out of the gap in her teeth. You were glad that Astrid handled losing her first tooth well, especially since not all kids did. That night after Astrid got ready for bed and put her tooth under her pillow, she quickly went to sleep. In the morning, she found a coin in the place where her tooth had been.
