Chapter One - Percy
°•° 7 Months Later - 3rd Person °•°
Lance was shoved into a dark cell no different from his last.
"What's your name?" Someone asked. Lance perked up - it had been almost three months since he had talked to someone.
"I, uh, Lance. And you?"
"I'm Percy." Lance searched the dark corners of the cell and saw the dim form of another human. A small smirk rested Percy's lips. "What're you in for?" He asked, faking some sort of Western accent. Lance almost chuckled, but didn't want to aggravate his broken ribs, so smiled instead.
"Well, I helped form a giant robot man to kill Zarkon." He sighed.
"That's funny. You aren't the first person to tell me about Voltron. I still don't think it's real." Percy sighed. "If you don't want to tell me, that's fine."
"No, I'm the blue paladin of Voltron. Well, I was. I've been here for about seven months."
"Well, that's the life of a hero, isn't it?" Lance could tell Percy didn't believe him. For some reason, that bothered him.
"What'll it take to get you to believe me?"
"Well, I'd believe you if you showed me your big robot lion. But we'd have to break out of here first. I'm open to suggestions." Percy smiled suddenly and pulled something from his pocket.
"What's that?" Lance asked.
"Our ticket out of here." He looked at the small object and chuckled. "Thanks for the suggestion, Anaklusmos." Lance furrowed his eyebrows.
"Anaklusmos?" He repeated slowly.
"Yep. Don't ask, I can explain later." Percy paused for a moment. "Hey, I just realized there's no such thing as thunder in space." He grinned.
"Why does that matter?"
"No reason."

"You're sure this will work?" Lance asked.
"Yeah, the sword will go right through you." Percy assured.
"Okay." Lance took a deep breath and began to scream. "Help! Help! He's going to kill me!" He let tears stream down his face, and he could hear Percy mutter some words of respect for his acting performance. Really, he was just thinking of what would happen if they were caught at any time in this plan.
"What's that noise?!" A galra soldier growled. Percy slashed at Lance with his magic sword just as the guard opened the cell door. Lance gasped in pain as it sliced through his leg.
"Shist!" Percy shouted. The guard raised his blaster on the boy, but Percy was too fast. Even without using his sword, the soldier had no chance.
"You said it wouldn't-"
"Well, I thought you were mortal." Percy internally cursed himself for not checking. If only he had tried to give Lance a tiny cut, he could have known!
"Mortal?" Lance asked through gritted teeth. Blood was pouring down from his left thigh, covering his knee and foot.
"I'll explain later. You have a lion on this ship, you said?" Lance nodded. He closed his eyes, visualizing Blue.
"She's just down the hallway." Lance said as Percy scooped him up.
"Okay." Percy grunted, running towards the hangar. He smiled as the blue lion came into his line of sight.
"Told you so." Lance said shakily.
"Stay with me. You still have to fly this thing!"
"No, I... Blue!" Lance shouted, and Blue's particle barrier fell and her eyes began to glow yellow. "Take us to the castle, please." Lance requested as Percy sat him down in the pilot's seat.
"Dam, would Leo love to see this." Percy muttered as they flew away. Several galra fleets followed them, but the blue lion opened a wormhole and left them in the dust.

Pidge stared glumly at her bead necklace, wishing she could be back on Earth. Before she could loose herself in thought, however, the hangar door opened. Green caught her in her mouth as Blue flew in.
"Holy shit!" She shouted. The rest of the team quickly made their way to the green lion's hangar, having heard the alarms.
"Is there a doctor here?!" A boy shouted, rushing out of the blue lion with an unconscious Lance in his arms.
"Allura, prep a healing pod!" Shiro instructed, running towards Lance and the boy. "Was he bleeding?" Shiro asked, noticing the dried blood on his prisoner's clothes. The boy carrying Lance nodded.
"He was. But I gave him some ambro- some medicine." Pidge finally managed to get Green to let her down and she ran towards the boy.
"Percy!" She cried, wrapping him in a hug. He looked surprised.
"Who- Katie?!" He asked, excitement in his voice. He handed Lance to Shiro, who ran the blue paladin down to the infirmary.
"You two know each other?" Keith asked.
"Nico?" Percy gasped, going over to hug Keith.
"No, that's Keith." Katie giggled. Percy sighed, backing away from the red paladin.
"Sorry, Keith." He grinned sheepishly.
"So, how long have you been in space?" Pidge asked. Percy scratched the back of his neck.
"A year and four months. Annabeth ID going to kill me."
"Who's Annabeth?" Hunk asked.
"She's gonna want a dam good excuse." Pidge said. Percy bit his lip and then burst out in giggles.
"I hate you." He laughed. Hunk and Coran exchanged a confused look, and Keith just left.
"I missed you too, kelphead."
