Nivedita asks her brother and would be sister-in-law to come in the centre.
Anurag comes and stands nervously thinking his sisters have trapped him badly such that he cannot even escape. Prerna too accompany him confused, not knowing what's happening. She looks at Basu family one by one to get some clue from them, but her expressions are still the same. While the people surround them.

Anurag goes to her mother and collects the ring from her. He opens the box and sees the ring. He smiles.

While everyone claps and cheer for his performance and asks Prerna to answer his question who is smiling and blushing hard unable to control herself. She keeps her hand on her nose and tries to control the blush on her face. He awaits for her answer.

This was enough for everyone present there specially Anurag who is all smiles showing all his 32 teeth after hearing Prerna's confession. The people cheer and hoot for the couple.

He gets up immediately and hugs her tightly in excitement. The parents smile for their children's happiness. Everyone cheer a bit louder for the couple each passing moment making it a hot topic overall.

Prerna smiles and reciprocates him back by hugging making a romantic atmosphere.

All the people go gaga over the couple making them break their passionate hug.
Mohini asks them to sit. They both agree. The priest asks Mohini to decorate the plate to keep the rings. She does the same and decorates 2 plates with a red velvet cloth on it and the ring boxes in between.

As instructed by the priest Anurag takes the ring in his hand and holds Prerna's hand in other hand and makes her wear the ring. While sliding the ring into her finger he looks at her bright face and smiles slightly.

Everyone clap when Anurag accomplish his part of work. Prerna looks at her finger and smiles.

She repeats the same process and makes him wear the ring but doesn't dare herself to look at him.

The smile on their faces shows their deepest feelings inside the heart or say inner feelings being how happy they are to get engaged with each other.

The parents hug each other congratulating and Veena telling Mohini that their relation moved a step forward making them close now.
While Mohini nods and smiles.
