  CHAPTER 25 - Jealousy

Ahh, who setted this as my alarm tone? Damn, I hate that song! Really? After the Harlem Shake, the people are going to worry about what the fox says?

Oh, leave the topic away. I have more interesting things to do like...like...like...like. God, I have nothing to do on Friday? Well, that's a good thing. In fact, it's great. I've been so involved with the whole dating thing, school, friends and teenager's life that I haven't have a free day for myself in a long time.

It's all Jade afternoon today!

I entered my bathroom, took bath, got dressed and came downstairs. Dad was sitting on the dining table with his breakfast and newspaper. 

"Morning dad." I chirped. I am happy today too people!

"I know it's morning. Why are you telling me 'Morning dad'?" he asked, confused. Someone teach him the basic words.

I didn't want to spoil my mood so I just replied,"Okay, then good morning dad."

"Someone is in a good mood today." he said, smiling. To be honest, my dad looks amazing when he smiles. No wonder why he was the charmer of his school.

"Yupe, I mean, no school, no Sage, no homework, no nothing! Why won't I be happy?"

He chuckled and got up. He kissed my forehead and said,"But I have to go now. It's not my 'no office' day. Bye Princess. Take care."

"Bye daddy." I spoke.

I love my daddy. No matter how irritating, kiddish or cruel he is sometimes but I still love him. Except from the anti dating thing.

But you know what? Now when I think about dating someone, it gives me goosebumps. I mean, I am almost seventeen and still single. It's a new thing for me. That's the reason I quit the idea of doing the fake dating thing just for Aiden. It's for Sage. But it will still be nice to date the charmer boy!

I jumped on the couch of my room and turned of the television. Ah, morning watching my favourite shows. 

No school, check.

No Sage, check.

Watch t.v, check.

Eat a lot, check.

This definetely the best day ever. And about Sage, she is out on a date with Ryan. Cute! But somtimes I think they don't really make a very cute couple. They look so angry at each other and so...different. Well, don't think about them today Jade. It's your time.

I had an amazingly lazy day today! It's so great to be lazy. Lazy is good. Days like this when you don't have to worry about anyone, about anything and just enjoy. But these days don't last for long because of a thing called grocery shopping. My incredible dad, who I was praising about today morning, is making me go to grocery shopping! 

Thank you so much dad. 

I got into my car and turned on the music. 

Swingin' in the backyard

And you say, "Get over here

Um, didn't this song came on a few days back when I was super sad? But now, I am not so let's not listen to this. Let's go for some awesome classic rock. Hot blooded by Foreigner played!

Well, I'm hot blooded, check it and see 

I got a fever of a hundred and three 

Come on baby, do you do more than dance?

God, I love classic rock. It's just the best for a day like this. A day when you are feeling great. No asthma problems, no troubles, just you and your classic music, baby!

Conscience : Look who got all touchy suddenly.

Me : It's because I am having a great day Mister or Miss, whatever you are. By the way, what gender are you?

Conscience : I like it better to keep my gender hidden. You may take advantage of me.

Me : I will take advantage of you? My love, you are always a disadvantage for me.

Conscience : I see, you really are in a good mood today because you are not saying 'Shut up', 'I hate you' or 'Why do all my body parts talk'. 

Me : I am not that angry at you all the time.

Wait a second Consy, I have to park the car. I parked my Imphala in the parking lot of the enormous store, got in and grabbed a trolley. Oh, carry on Consy.

Conscience : Okay. So, tell her mouth, isn't she angry at me all the time?

Mouth : She is.

Conscience : See!

Me : Ahh, but don't you think Mouthy that Consy is so damn annoying?

Mouth : He is!

Me : See!

Conscience : But isn't sh...

Because of my habit of spacing out all the time, I suddenly bumped with someone else's trolley. Why am I so clumsy?

I looked up to see who I bumped up with and saw a tall, blond girl in front of me. She was drop dead gorgeous. Like she is a model or something. But the most weird thing, she wasn't angry at me for the crash. Instead of that she was smiling at me! 

"I am so sorry Mam." I apologized.

"Aw, it's no problem dear. It was my fault too." she spoke, smiling. Her smile is very pretty.

"No, I spaced out and didn't saw where I am going. Sorry Mam." 

She chuckled and said,"Why are you calling me mam? I am not that old."

"But mam is not for old people. It's for respact." I answered.

"That's why. It's still sounds old." that made both of us chuckle.

"By the way, my name's Annabella. Call me whatever you want though cutie." she spoke. Cutie??

"Nice name. Mine's Jade." 

"That's cute. Suits you perfectly." 

isn't this girl over here treating me like a kid? I think so.

I shopped with Annabella the whole time and discovered that she is just awesome. She is studying business and is really rich but is really modest about it. And am totally enjoying my time with her.

We were picking things from the cereal section when I suddenly blurted out,"I think you should become a model."

She turned to me in shock and then suddenly, started to laugh. What's so funny?

"Why are you laughing?" I asked innocently.

"Ahh, that was so cute but I can't. I mean, look at me. Do I even have a body of a model?"

"Um.yes." I answered.

"Jeez, you sounded just like my baby brother. I mean, not the model part but the way you said it. So innocent. Though, he is very naughty most of the time but my best is when he looks clueless and all innocent. It's so damn cute." she said

"Really? That's nice. You have a baby brother too? That's cute." I replied. It's always say that it's a nice thing when you don't know what to answer when someone is talking about his or her personal life.

"Wait, I'll call him. He came with me here but then he such ran away." she said and then the name is screamed, made me go in coma.

"Ryan."

Ryan as in Ryan Matthews, the school's bad boy?

All my questions were answered when I saw Ryan coming to Annabella in anger. He is her 'baby brother'? Does this guy look like a baby brother to you?

"What Anna?" he yelled. Anna's back was to me and Ryan was standing in front of me so I guess Ryan was unable to see me. Now, I'll make fun of you Mister Matthews! *Evil laugh*

"I want you to meet my little cute friend here, say hi to Jade." she said and backed away, revealing Ryan to me.

Ryan's face fell and his colour drained out. That is when you are Annabella's baby brother! Oh God, this will be good.

I waved at him,"Hi Ryan."

He was still shocked,"Um,hey Jade."

Annabella was smiling at us and then she started walking again, followed by ke and Ryan. Anna was leading the way and we were following her.

"Whatever she told you about me, none of them is true." Ryan whispered.

"Shut up, don't talk about your sister like that. You are his 'baby brother'." I joked.

He death glared at me which made me chuckle. This guy is so embarrased right now! And I am lovin it!

"What is she doing here?" I whispered to Ryan. It was evening time now. Anna was finish shopping with us ...and embarrasing Ryan and then went home while Ryan stayed with me. But when we went to StarBucks to take some coffee for dad, my eyes went to a familiar blondie and guess who that was? Sage? It's normal for teenagers to come to starbucks but not for my sister. She never comes to this kind of places. She says its too cliche for her.

"What do I know?" Ryan said loudly. He was still pissed out because of Anna telling his childhood stories to me. But it was truly fun for me.

I looked at  him and joked,"Shut up the guy who tried to eat cactus."

"I was three. A three year old is too young to know these things. I don't do it anymore." he answered. Annabella was right, he really is cute and innocent.

I just came here to get here some coffee and now here we are, hiding like thiefs outside of starbucks, stalking Sage. As creepy as it sounds.

"By the way, how was your date today?" I asked Ryan.

He looked at me and stammered,"It was good."

"Good." was my reply.

After a few seconds, Sage left Starbucks and went to the basement parking lot. We followed her the way along and got near her car. She was with her friends. Though, this was just the parking lot, it was really crowded.

"Do you think she likes you?" I asked.

"What do I know Rasberry?" Ryan answered.

I narrowed my eyes at him and then said,"I've heard that if you want to know if someone likes you, then make them jealous and you'll know the answer." 

"And that dating advice must be from your barbie friend Blair?" he asked.

I made a 'O' shape with my mouth and said,"How did you know?"

"I know everything Strawberry!" he spoke and smirked.

"So, let's find found if she like you or not. But how to make her jealous?" I started to think.

Suddenly, Ryan turned to me and smirked,"I know how."

"How?" I asked. And that's when he pressed me against the pillar and came closer to me. God, what is he trying to do?

He smirked at me and came even closer. We were close enough to kiss. Again, what is he doing?

"What are you doing?" I stammered.

He came closer to my ears and whispered,"Making your sister jealous."

"But I am her sister. How wi-will she b-be jea-jealous of m-me?" I stammered again because of the closeness.

He came in front of me and then smiled. Wait, what? Smiled? No smirking? He smiles too?

I couldn't look at him because to be honest, it made me get butterflies in my stomach. He came closer and closer. Both his hands were on both the side of my head, tovering me. He looked at my lips and I closed my eyes. I can't see this. I can't see this. I just can't.

I could feel him come closer to my lips but then I felt his soft lips on my cheeks. They were so soft and delicate, like a feather.

I opened my eyes and saw him smirked. Ahh, the smirking Ryan is back again. And then a question popped into my head.

"Did she even saw us?"

So, many people didn't like the chapter. Sorry about that! Kind of a writer;s block! :( But not now! :)

P.s : I am not going to update tomorrow because I have to go to another school for a competition and I'll be home late, and then I have to go somewhere important! :)
