initially called "If You Were Only Music"

If you were only music, that's ringing in my ears.
You would bring me happiness and get did of fears,
Sending messages to the brain and the heart
The endless playing of your tune,
Is more repetitive than a T.V cartoon.
Loved by many and hated by some,
People would ask you to lead and come,
If you were only music.

If you were only music, that played on the radio.
The joyous sounds out the window they could go,
People would sing loudly along too.
You would cure all with diseases and those feeling blue.
Your lovely words jumped out of the song,
And how they would stretch so long,
They would wrap around the world for they're strong.
If you were only music.

If you were only music, that came out of my mouth,
You would be the creator of smiles on the youth.
You would be as lovely as the stars that shine at night,
You would be as confident as the shines than shine extra bright.
You would be like the rainbow stretching across the sky,
So memorable, colorful, seen from afar ad high.
You would be just like a delicious sundae,
Chocolatey maybe with sprinkles, such a variety.
If you were only music.

So that is the poem I wrote as a school assignment. I will share my sonnet soon as well as I think it's fantabulous. I feel that I do better with writing a poem for school more because I work on it longer so I'll try to do that with my individual poems. I just also realised this one is longer than most of them.
