My eyes snapped open and I immediately got out of bed. I checked the time and saw that it was the time that the school bus usually arrives.

I shook my head to clear the thoughts and conjured up some clothes.

Once clothed, I ate my breakfast, brushed my teeth, etc.

Once all that was done, I grabbed my paint sash, shrunken paintbrush and went into my room.

Letting my brush return to its original size, I painted a portal to Error's void.

There, I saw him waiting with Nightmare, Dust and Horror.

I growled, getting their attention.
"We thought you'd come," Nightmare announced.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. And, since you knew I'd come, I'm guessing you know why I'm here," I said to him.

Horror chuckled.
"Why wouldn't we? You came to save your darling brother and friend," He taunted, sliding the edge of his ace underneath Ink's chin.
"Stop!" I exclaimed, making him stop.
"How about I make the first move?" Error suggested.
"Knock yourself out," Nightmare answered, his hand on Error's shoulder. 'Odd. Usually he'd just tell him. Something's up'. I thought, looking at them suspiciously.

Error smirked and sent strings at me. I dodged them, but they just made a sharp turn, startling me and hitting mr. 'Error wasn't this strong before! What's going on?! That really hurt!' I thought, alarmed.

Nightmare chuckled. He had something to do with this. I know it.

I growled and stood up.
"You're gonna have to try a little harder than that," I seethed. I charged at them with my brush and tried to hit Error. One of Nightmare's tentacles blocked it though.
"(Y/N)!!" Dream cried out as another one of his tentacles hit me.

I was thrown backwards, but I put a hand in the ground and pushed myself up, then landed back on my feet.

I sighed and created some swords in the air. Once corporeal, they charged at the four skeletons. Sadly, they all dodged, but one hit Horror's arm.

Growling, he threw his axe at me. I jumped above it, dodging the steel blade.
"(Y/N), BEHIND YOU!!" Dream yelled out.

I turned around and managed to move out of the way from Horror's axe. Sadly, the axe made a deep cut on my forehead. I screamed in pain and held the cut, wiping the blood from my eyes.
"Damn it, I can barely see," I mumbled under my breath. I looked at Ink and Dream.

Dream had a massively concerned face whilst Ink was still hanging limply from the strings in the air, passed out. I was filled with a sudden newfound anger and determination to save them.
"I-I'm not... Gonna give up... Until I save them!" I shouted, struggling to get up from a stab in my left arm and right leg that Dust's bones penetrated.

There was a pool of blood underneath me now.

I winced as I was getting up.
"Look at you! You don't even have energy to stand properly!" Dust taunted. I felt tears prick my eyes from the pain.
"(Y/N)! GET OUT OF HERE!!" Dream screamed out to me, big golden tears falling down his face. "YOU'LL FIE TRYING TO SAVE US!! WE AREN'T WORTH IT!!!"

My eyes were shadowed over by my hair as I clenched my jaw.
"Don't.. Say that... Even if I fail... Atleast I'll know I died trying to save you..." I said, loud enough for him to hear.
"Aww. Look at you, trying to be all heroic~" Nightmare cooed.

I glared at him and sent attack after attack. Most of them hit the four, but they dodged a few.

I grinned smugly and dodged the attacks they sent at me.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked. No response, just attacks. "What's the point?"

My hood was on my head again because I pulled it down to cover my teary face.
"(Y/n)..." Dream muttered quietly, looking at me sympathetically.

When I looked back at the group, the only thing I saw, was a gigantic bone and a portal opening behind me.

The bone collided with me, sending me flying through the portal.

I saw my school getting closer to me, making me give a light smile. I saw everyone in their respective classes and PJ in his. At the sight of him, I felt an iverwelming urge to keep fighting. 'What is this feeling?' I thought. That's when it came to me. 'Is it... Love...?' I asked myself.

When I rolled to the ground, I staggered up and leaned against my paintbrush. I closed my eyes and smiled weakly.

Opening them, mt left eye was ablaze and Tokyovania was now playing around me.

"You'll... PAY FOR HURTING THE ONES I LOVE!!!" I screamed out and sent attack after attack.

Before I know it, pretty much the entire school is watching the fight. I saw PJ's worried expression.

When I looked back at Error, some of his strings got me. I screamed out in pain and my cloak and hood fell off in the process.
"(Y/N)?!" Everyone exclaimed in shock. I gave a nervous chuckle and felt another attack hit me, making me scream in pain.

I was knocked back and hit the wall, worrying everyone.

I fell down and groaned, more blood pooling underneath my heavily injured body.

I wouldn't move! I was paralyzed!
"(Y/N)!" PJ yelled out and picked me up, letting me lean against him.
"P...J..?" I asked weakly, my eyes unfocused and blurry.
"It's me, (y/n). Please don't die on me - on us," He pleaded. I smiled weakly and saw lots of blurry figures confine us.
"I'll try..." I muttered half-heartedly.
"I think it's time for our little toy that we made!" Error piped up.

I growled and made an attempt to get up, but I heard a snap and then a sizzle.

The sizzling got louder until I felt myself getting surrounded by something and pulled into the air.

Suddenly, pain was all I felt. I screamed and screamed. It felt like millions of knives, carving me. Slowly, and painfully, torturing me. It was like they were torturing me to get info out of me, I wanted to give it up, I just didn't know what it was! (If chu get ze reference I luv chu)

I screamed more, my throat being raw. I struggled, but that just made it even more painful.
"(Y/N)!!!" My nerdy friends screamed after me. I gave a weak smile, but that slowly disappeared as I felt extremely weak.

The force field around me suddenly disappeared and I fell down. I felt someone's soft arms wrap around me and pull me to their chest. I let myself succumb to the weakness and my body went numb.
