When I got back to the apartment I went straight to the bathroom and turned the shower on. I started stripping off my blood stained clothes and then I hopped into the pleasant heated water. The hot water stream collides into my skin, releasing tention. I close my eyes, and the hot steam envelopes my body.

A tear tickled my cheek and mixed with the clean water as I poured gentle soap into my hands. My fingers met my long jet black hair, dancing into the mess it was, ridding it of the knots time had given. I never wanted this to happen, I will never be a normal teenage girl, I will never grow old or fall in love, and sure enough, this only made my confidence crumble.

I dragged the soap over my body, the action soothing my tough skin. More tears escaped my eyes followed by my fist meeting the wall. Then I dropped to the floor, letting the water caress her skin as she broke down and wept.

I wish I had somebody to guide me through life. Through eternity. To make me feel special. To bring the best in me. I just need somebody to love.

A short while after I stopped crying, I got out the shower and wrapped a towel around my body. I looked into the shower. Who was this girl? This monster. I dried my body then my hair, put some comfortable sweats on and brushed through my hair as I made my way to my bedroom.

My tiredness makes me hang limp like wet laundry on a cold still day. I feel like every muscle is giving into gravity. What I want is sleep, a nice warm bed and a solid night of dreams.

I fell onto my bed not even bothering about covering myself with any covers. Falling asleep was my only sweet release myself away from the world. In my dreams, I could escape, find relief. And for when I awake from my slumber I'm oblivious to my concerns for a short period of time. I enjoy that brief respite of time before my troubles burst to the forefront of my mind.
