The path takes a sharp left turn and you are met with a few floating sentences. You look questioningly at your guide, who is beside you. They notice, and start explaining.

"This is the request board. If you need or want anything, you can ask here! There's enough space for everyone, but remember that Shadow is able to not accept your offer or not answer your question.

"The first one from the left is where requests to rate and draw an OC are. You can ask Shadow to give you an honest opinion about your OC, and make a drawing of them! But Shadow isn't very skilled at drawing humans, dragons, dinosaurs, or anything too complex. They can, however, draw an unnatural animal! Such as winged, horned, double tailed or similar cats! They prefer drawing cats, but additional features aren't a big problem! You can request by either pm-ing Shadow, or commenting here!

"Next, there's the requests to visit your books and/or participate in your art contest! It's just as easy to request, once again by either pm-ing or commenting, but this time on this part.

"The one in the middle is for art trade requests. If Shadow accepts, then it'll be taken to PM's.

"The second to last is a place for requests for this and (possibly) other book/s. If you want to see some adoptables - ask here! If you need bases for your drawing, ask here! But remember to give credit to Shadow and tag them, if you're going to use anything!

"And the last one is for anything that Shadow forgets! If you have any other questions, or requests, then ask here! Shadow is forgetful, so you can also remind them of anything here!"

You look at the unreadable text, wondering how your guide could read it. You see a dark hole to the right of the request board, and to the left of it is a floating book. You turn to the guide, about to ask what those are, when they start taking.

"The dark hole is a place where all of the deleted comments go. This is where people who don't follow the rules also go, once Shadow notices. And trust me, they probably will find you if you steal and/or trace their art." You walk over to the trashcan of sorts and try to look into it, but it's too dark.

"The book to the left of the request board is for you to take! It has all of the chapters in it and allows for faster travel through the painted path! Just click on wherever you want to go, and it'll take you there!"

You stop trying to see what's inside of the trashcan, and you walk over to the floating book. It's quite a small one, but something tells you that it's only going to get thicker from this point onward.

The book is a dark gray one, with crack-like patterns that are changing color. You look at the path you're staying on, making the connection between it and the book. With your guard up, you reach out for the floating item.

To your astonishment, the only thing that happens is that the lines start to glow. You look back at where the book was before, and you witness as another similar one appears. You decide to open your book, and the first page is nothing special.

It just says 'this book is in possession of'', and right underneath it; 'password is'. You try to go to the other page, but the only thing that you see is two chapter names. The first one is titled 'The begging' and is written in black. The one below it is called 'Do you need anything?' and is dark purple in color.

"Take this pen, and write down my name as the password, so that Shadow can keep track of who can use the bases and ask to adopt. As for the reason for the different colors of the two chapters, it's because we're now in the second one. The chapter we're in will be dark purple in color, just so you know."

You take the pen that materialized in front of your guide, and write down their name right here.

You watch as your name appears in the other spot, and you hand the pen back to your guide. They told you not to call them by their name, and you're not about to go against their wishes. It seems that it was useful only as a password.

"Great! Let's get going, there's still a lot to see!" You once again go first, and your guide is once again by your side. You sigh as the path takes two left turns and the request board is left behind.
