Andrew POV-

"There's quite a bit you don't know about me, Andrew Cheslock."

The words rang in my ears as I watched the demon scrunch up her face at my flat.

"You know, from someone with the noble name of Cheslock, I would have assumed you'd live in a mansion, not some crummy apartment like this." She muttered.

My brows knitted together as a surge of annoyance flowed through me. "Hey, don't go around criticizing where I live! It's not my fault that my family's manor was destroyed, like, a hundred something years ago during the last fire of London!"

I watched her eyes widen for a moment before she clasped her chin in one hand and began to pace, muttering all the while about 'what had Sebastian done?'.

That's the second time she's mentioned this Sebastian guy.

After a few more moments, she turned abruptly back to me. "Take me to the Cheslock manor, or at least tell me where it is."

I stared at her for a minute with furrowed brows before shaking my head. "Uh, yeah. Sure. It's just a couple hundred kilometers north of here, surrounded by woods."

She smiled.

I didn't like that smile.

"Perfect." She said, opening a window.

I came up behind her and watched as she crawled out onto the fire escape. "What're you-?!"

I cut myself off as she grabbed me with inhuman strength and pulled me out of the building and into her arms, bridal style.

"MORGAN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I demanded, my normally low voice rising a couple of octaves as she stepped up onto the railing.

"I've always wanted to do this!" She exclaimed, then jumped off the edge of the eleven story building.

I screamed in fear and wrapped my arms as tight as I could around her slender neck while she just cheered in delight.

"WOOHOO!" She howled as her feet hit the next building over and she jumped once more.

"IS THIS A BAD TIME TO MENTION THAT I'M AFRAID OF HEIGHTS?!" I shouted in her ear over the roar of the wind as we bounced off yet another building.

The demon laughed, "YEAH, A LITTLE!", then let out yet another howl of delight.

We made the normally several hour long trip in just under ten minutes.

"Hey, Andrew." I felt her shaking me in her arms a bit. "We've landed you big baby."

I cracked my eyes open just a bit and saw the grass beneath her feet, then flung myself out of her arms and onto the earth.

"Oh my god, please don't ever do that ever ever again...!" I gasped, rolling to lay on my back and look up at my demon.

She wasn't there.

I sat up and looked around. "Morgan?" I called, then stood and gasped at what I saw.

My demon was standing in front of what had once been a torn down pile of ash and rubble, but was now a mansion fit for the queen herself.

Three stories and gigantic, it stood like a beacon in the clearing, black marble gleaming in the sun.

"Not bad for my first time, right?" The demoness remarked with a proud grin, her hands on her hips as she stood next to me.

"What did you do...?" I breathed in amazement. I couldn't tear my eyes away from it.

"I restored it to its former glory. By tomorrow morning all your stuff should be in there too."

Walking forward, she opened the enormous front doors and gestured inside. "Care for a tour?"

I shook myself out of my shock and raised my eyebrows at her. "You memorized the layout?"

Morgan scoffed. "As if! I was just gonna go exploring! I've never been to Cheslock's manor, even though he invited me a few times..."

Her voice faltered at this and sadness crept over her features if only for a moment, then it vanished and was replaced with excitement once more. "C'mon, let's go!"

The icy eyed girl dashed into the house and I followed after her, a little more slowly, though.

The manor was truly perfect.

Two kitchens, ten bedrooms, seven restrooms, a wine cellar bigger than my apartment; it was truly remarkable.

I found my demon standing in an office with bookshelves lining the side walls and two giant bay windows on opposite sides of a dark wooden desk.

On the wall behind said desk was a giant painting of a man no older than twenty. He had a serious, almost sad look on his pale face and his hair was done up into a feathery white mohawk with his naturally black hair shaved on the sides of his head.

Makeup cracks ran down the left side of his face, underneath his black lined obsidian eyes.

"Chester Cheslock." I said to the back of Morgan's head, earning no reaction. "My great great grandfather and the manor's last owner."

I heard what sounded like a saddened laugh come from her and watched her slender fingers wiping black tears away from her eyes.

"Chester, huh?" She laughed. "No wonder he never wanted to tell me his first name...! Who names their kid Chester Cheslock?"

I stared at her. "What are you talking about?"

She sighed and turned to me, wiping her black tears away. "Long story, but that reminds me. You can probably take off the bandage now. I just realized that it would probably just look like a tattoo to others."

My mood perked at that and I quickly unwrapped the bandage to find an icy blue pentacle surrounded by a circle of thorny roses.

Morgan took off her left glove and the back of her hand had the same mark.

She smiled and was about to say something else, when a wail from outside caught our attention.

Morgan's eyes flashed silver for a moment and she ran down back to the front door, with me following closely behind.

There was a man in the front lawn wearing tan slacks and a polo shirt. He had glasses on his nose and a sun visor on his head. He was looking around the manor in horror, a packet of paper balled up in his hands.

"No! No, no, no! Where's my burnt village?! What happened?! Who put this manor here?! We were on lunch break for only an hour!"

His beady little eyes caught on Morgan and he raised a furious pudgy finger at her.

"Jessica! What is the meaning of this?! Get back to the rest of the cast! You are not supposed to bring your boyfriends anywhere near the set! We've had this discussion already!"

His face was red with anger.

"I don't know how you did this, but you just cost me one of the most perfect sets young lady! You should be grateful that the role of Morgan Donnelly is so important that I can't fire you!"

My eyes widened in realization.

So that's where I heard her name before...

My demon walked down the manor's steps and towards the man.

The director.

"Look pal, I don't know what the fuck your problem is, but my name isn't Jessica, it's Morgan. And Andrew is not my boyfriend. This is his manor, not your burnt village or whatever the shit you called it."

The director looked Morgan up and down before sighing. "Oh, I see. Another fangirl found her way on the set."

He began walking towards the trees and motioned for us to follow. "Well, you might as well come get an autograph while you're here, you too boyfriend."

Morgan began walking after him and I ran to catch up.

"Morgan, I just remembered where I knew your name from."

She raised an eyebrow at me and I continued.

"Two years ago, a new television show came out called Black Butler. I totally forgot that they were shooting near the manor, but more importantly than that, there is a character in the show named Morgan Donnelly."

Her eyebrows were up at her hairline by now. "What's the show about?"

"It's pretty awesome actually, they're on season four right about now. It's like, a twist on history. Season one is all about the Queen's Guard Dog, Ciel Phantomhive and his demon butler Sebastian Michaelis- Sebastian is also the co-director of the show-, and starts in the year 1889. Sometime after the Circus arc, the Morgan character shows up at the end of season one. Season two is like a whole zombie titanic thing with a murderer special and then a school time arc. My ancestor is in that one too, actually. Season three covered the last fire of London and had a bunch of angels and stuff in it, and we were left wondering whether or not Morgan and Ciel had died. Season four came out a few weeks ago and it turns out that she's not dead and neither is Ciel Phantomhive, but some of his memories were erased and he hardly remembers Morgan."

My demon's icy orbs were as wide as I'd ever seen them.

"Wh-Who did you say was directing this...?" She breathed and I tilted my head slightly. "The famous director Sebastian Michaelis. I think it's cool that he uses his own name as a character and he uses the names of some of the actors in season four too. It's really meta."

I'll admit, I may or may not be a fanboy for that show.

Morgan's eyes were still wide as she turned and ran past the other director and towards the set.

The two of us ran after her to the front of another manor next to mine, but this one was filled with people in costumes and filming equipment.

There was a handsome man with raven hair sitting in a director's chair wearing a suit identical to Morgan's and reading a thick script.

As I watched, my demon's face lit up with happiness and she lept at the famous director/actor.

"SEBASTIAN!" She cheered, and the man caught her with a grin on his face.

"Morgan, the time has truly flown hasn't it." He said with a grin, hugging the icy eyed demon close to him.

And now it was my turn to be confused.

"What the hell is going on?"
