I was making my way downtown, walking fast, faces pass.

No seriously, that's what I was doing.

Apparently that girl I met a couple days ago in the rain was the spirit known as <Hermit>, so on the bright side I already knew what she looked like. Still, now I need to find her, and she's currently hiding from the AST units that were in the area. Luckily for me, I was able to use the <The Circle Act 1> to make myself undetectable to the AST, so I was walking through the area trying to find that girl Yoshino and her rabbit Yoshinon. I was currently walking through the main part of the city, getting nervous if even one of the AST looked in my general direction. Surprisingly, they weren't able to detect me in the slightest, I guess this power was a bonus. Still, why did King give me this power in the first place? Did he know about all of this beforehand?

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a door quickly closing, I quickly looked around and saw that the door to an abandoned building was the source of the noise. I could also tell that some AST units were now looking at the area, so I quickly ran over to the building and hid before deactivating <The Circle Act 1>. I then used my stand on the door, then I dashed into the building and officially deactivated my stand to start looking around for the spirit. It was pretty dark in the building, so I pulled out Amaterasu and painted a small fire in the palm of my hand, allowing me to use my hand as a lantern.

"It's pretty dark in there (Y/N)." Kirumi started the obvious, but I'm not going to say anything since she's already got her hands full. "We won't be able to help that much."

As I walked around, I didn't see anyone, but I did run into quite a few mannequins. For some reason, Kaito also screamed in fear whenever I shone a light on a mannequin for some reason. To be honest, it got to the point where I had to take out my headpiece whenever I saw a mannequin. This went on for a couple minutes before hearing the sound of a nearby box falling, confusing me a bit.

"GYAH!" Kaito screamed into my earpiece, to be honest, I think I deserve actual pay for putting up with this. "What was that?! A ghost perhaps?!"

"Kaito, we're putting up with SPIRITS, it's a good thing if it's a ghost." Korekiyo reminded the astronaut, which did little to calm him down.

"You're one to talk!" Kaito shouted, which confused me because while Korekiyo did look like orochimaru, he was 100% alive. "When you died, you were also killed as a ghost! Also, how on earth did you recover from that?!"

"Wha-, is that was happened after I was boiled alive?" Korekiyo asked, I may not like the guy, but did he really deserve to be boiled? "Kaito, tell me, when everyone else died, did you see any of their ghosts?"

"Now that you mention it, I did find it odd that yours was the only one." Kirumi went on, while I walked towards the source of the noise and prepared my paintbrush in case it's a fight. 

I turned the corner and flashed some light onto the source of the noise, and I was immediately met with an orb of yellow light being aimed at me. My eyes adjusted to see that there was someone in front of me, and they appeared to be a robot of some kind. The clothes looked to be mechanical, and those lines going from the eyes to the bottom of the face. I was about to attacks but then everyone shouted in confusion and joy.

(No I'm not just adding characters from that one game that's a nightmare to spell for shits and giggles. There's actually a plot I'm weaving into this one.)

"KIIBO?!" Everyone except for Kokichi sounded overjoyed, I guess this guy was one of their classmates, do robots even need to go to school? "You're alive!"

"Halt there <Hermit>." The newly dubbed Kiibo still pointed his palm canon at me, as he didn't hear his former classmates. "I am the new AST unit, K1-B0, and it is my duty to kill spirits! I must apologize for this, but you must die!"

"Quick, (Y/N), tell him that you know us!" Miu ordered through the earpiece, I swear these guys are gonna cause ear damage to me.

"You say that like I should be proud of it." I sighed and took out my earpiece and put it in Kiibo's ear. "Great, now you guys can start screaming."

"Huh? Guys?" Kiibo's corner bent into a smile as his eyes suddenly looked joyful beyond belief, and if he was capable of crying, he'd be doing so. "I missed all of you so much! What happened ever since the killing game? Why didn't you get into contact with any of us? You had me worried! Oh, here you go."

"Thanks." I thanked the robot as Kiibo handed me back my earpiece and began explaining some things.

"Forgive me for the rude introduction, my name is K1-Bo, or Kiibo, the Ultimate Hope Robot." Kiibo bowed slightly out of respect for me. "I am lucky that Miu built a radio inside me, that way I can communicate with you guys without a earpiece. I suppose I'll have to quit the AST now that you guys are working for an opposing group."

"So why did you work for the AST anyways?" Kaede asked curiously, now that she mentions it, Kiibo should have been one of the survivors...right?

"Well not everywhere is willing to hire an armed and dangerous robot like myself." Kiibo smugly says, which I'm not sure is something he should be saying proudly. "However, most other places are robophobic, and the AST said they could use someone like me, so I had no choice but to accept."

"Kiibo you're a total pushover, I'm pretty sure they just threatened you and you joined." Rantaro deadpanned at his friend, who started flailing his arms around like a child. "Plus your strength can make an old man look like Hercules."

"That's rude!" Kiibo shouted at the survivor, sweet Jesus now I have to put up with another idiot. "Anyways, you're looking for the <Hermit> too, correct?"

"Yeah, I kind of need to put her in a good mood in order to steal and/or seal her power." I informed the robot, who suddenly activated his eyes, which appeared to double as flashlights. "She's smol, must be protected at all costs, and makes you want to commit a hate crime to anyone who dares to harm her."

"As oddly specific as that sounds, I think I found her." Kiibo pointed his finger at the ceiling, causing me to look up to see Yoshino and Yoshinon.

Yoshino and Yoshinon noticed that I saw them and lowered themselves towards me, all while being upside down. Surprisingly, her skirt was pointed upwards instead of downwards like gravity actually worked. Which was great for me, because Yoshino looked like she was for headpatting, not lewding. Yoshino lowered herself using some unknown powers to come face to face with me, and it took everything within my power not to boop her nose right there on the spot. However, I was distracted by several names and recommendations appearing before me.

Insect_Lover: Don't worry Hermit, (Y/N) is gentleman, (Y/N) will protect you!

Praise_Atua: By Atua you are adorable.

#1_Inventor: Ask her out already, she may be cute but she still has tits.

Luminary_of_the_Stars: If you do anything lewd to her I will break your Nico Nico kneecaps.

Silver_Maid: Excuse me young girl, where are your parents?

Best_Survivor: Hey there kid, what are you doing here all alone?

Korekiyo: Are you any chance scared of the AST units outside?

Fite_Me: Ravioli ravioli, don't lewd the rabbit loli.

Tennis_Master: Is there any chance we can just NOT go on a date with her? She's literally a kid.

Former_Pianist: Hey there, remember me? I didn't come here to hurt you, so you can trust me.

Supreme_Overlord: Don't listen to Kaito, do lewd things!

"Miu...Kokichi...what the actual fuck are you two thinking?!" Kaito shouted at the inventor and liar, neither of whom responded. "Gonta, hold them down! We need to perform an exorcism to remove the bullshit these two are spewing!"

"It's a lie, I swear!" Kokichi attempted to defend himself while I heard Korekiyo start chanting some exorcism crap and Miu started screaming. "Miu why on Earth are you screaming?"

"Korekiyo is holding a cross, I thought Korekiyo was a demon from hell!" Miu shouted, making Kiibo and I sweatdrop at the inventor's antics.

"Sorry about the awkward silence, I'm not here to hurt you, Yoshino." I decided to go with Kaede's option because it's a good greeting. "I take it you're hiding here from the AST."

"Yeah we were, but then you brought one of them right to us!" Yoshinon apparently spoke on Yoshino's behalf, then the puppet pointed at Kiibo. "Also, why are you attacking us, scrap metal?!"

"That's robophobic!" Kiibo shouted like a little kid, oh god don't tell me he's gonna be useless too. "Also, I am incredibly sorry for attempting to attack you!"

"Apology accepted because Yoshino was able to block your punch without any effort." Yoshinon informed us, causing me to look behind me at an ashamed Kiibo.

"I thought you said you got upgrades?" I asked the robot beside me, ignoring whatever was going on with my friends.

"I just felt bad using them against a child!" Kiibo defended while waving his arms around childishly.

"Probably doesn't help that he's one of the few that didn't kill anyone." Kaito reminded us, but then I noticed Kiibo's sudden change in demeanor, I thought Kaito was the last one to die? So why did Kiibo's demeanor change?

"Anyways, Yoshino, are you getting tired of dealing with those AST outside?" I shifted my attention to the girl, who nodded her head nervously, I guess she doesn't talk much. "Then I have a deal, but you have to trust me on this one."

"Why should we trust you?" Yoshinon spoke on Yoshino's behalf once again, raising a valid point. "We just met you!"

"While that is fair, the choice is entirely up to you." I reminded the girl before writing 'fire' on a mannequin next to me, causing it to erupt in flames. "A bit of an explanation as to how my weapon, Amaterasu, here works. Amaterasu works by me writing things, like if I were to write 'water', water would appear. I can use this power for sealing too, but I can only do little things while in this mode."

"Mode?" Kiibo tilted his head in confusion like Yoshino did. "Are you a robot too?"

"No, I just don't have a better word for it." I showed off my paintbrush. "In god slayer mode, the powers remain the same, but the difference is like comparing a match to a flamethrower. Both of which are fundamentally the same thing, things that burn, but how good they are at the job is the question."

"What does that have to do with anything?" Yoshinon asked, causing me to sigh and put my paintbrush back in my pocket.

"You feel a lot safer about something if you know how it works, yes?" I asked, making both Yoshinon and Yoshino think for a couple moments before realizing I was right. "Exactly, plus now you know I can't harm you even if I wanted to. All you need to do is not get written on and it's basically a one sided matchup."

"Then how on Earth did you win against the AST all by yourself?" Kiibo asked, which is a good question.

"Wait, you fought the AST and won?!" Yoshinon asked in an amazed voice, I guess taking on AST units can be considered amazing in it's own right.

"It's honestly not that surprising, the AST units are specifically designed to take on spirits, not people with special items and familiars." I went on, then I tried bringing the conversation back to the original subject. "So Yoshino, Yoshinon, I ask you...do you trust me now? I've told you what I can do, so you can easily defeat me if you don't trust me."

"You're a lunatic, so I guess you have my attention." Yoshinon proudly exclaimed as he and Yoshino finally stopped floating and landed on the ground, putting into perspective the obvious height difference between us. "Speak now."

"My plan is to seal off Yoshino's powers and make her human, but the obvious downside to this is that Yoshino will lose all of her power and become a defenseless human." I decided to be honest, no good ever comes from lying. "I understand you wouldn't want to lose your power, but it's an alternative to being hunted for the rest of your life. However, you have to 100% trust me on this."

"Hey guys, where's Tohka?" Ryoma asked, which caused me to panic but I had to hide my emotions to ensure that Yoshino stayed on the plan. "Hey Miu, once you dry off, you should probably use one of your inventions to track her down."

"So what do you stand to gain from this, pervert (Y/N)?" Yoshinon asked, which kind of annoyed me because I try not to be a pervert. "Better question; why are you two helping us? I don't see how some pervert or a bucket of bolts could benefit from helping us?"

"Let's just say I have failed in a task in the past." Kiibo answered sternly, like a soldier not wanting to talk about his shell shock. "I am attempting to redeem myself from that mistake."

"As for me..." I turned off the earpiece so my friends couldn't hear what I said next. "I have a sin I need to let go of, but I can't unless I help others. As for what that sin is, I'll leave it up to the reader's imagination."

"Now you've got me curious, pervert." Yoshinon curiously eyed me, while I turned on my earpiece to allow my friends to listen in on the conversation.

"(Y/N)..." All of us turned around to see a slightly pissed off Tohka standing at the entrance of the store we were at. "Are you two timing me?"

"Of course not, I would never do anything to intentionally harm you." I raised my right hand to show I was being 100% honest. "My job is to seal off the powers of spirits like I did with you. Sealing doesn't require me to do anything to them, just write an emblem somewhere on their body. You thought I would joke about what I said to you the other day? I'm afraid not. While you're here, would you like to help us?"

"Nah he's totally cheating on you." Yoshinon announced, making everyone go silent for a couple seconds to glare at the puppet. "He got sick and tired of you girl, so he threw you out like yesterday's garbage!"

"Geez is that how I acted with you guys?" Kokichi asked in an amazed voice, wait did he actually act like this puppet?

"Yes." Everyone aside from Kokichi, Yoshino, Tohka, and I said in unison, which is surprising because even Kiibo joined in.

"That's great and all, but I was mainly focusing on pissing off Kaito." Kokichi snickered again, much to Kaito's dismay.

"Kiibo, can you analyze the situation to see if that's true?" Kirumi asked while presumably pinching her nose.

"I can determine that Yoshinon is lying, and (Y/N) still intends to keep whatever promise he made to Tohka." Kiibo announced after scanning both me and the puppet.

"You guys are no fun." Yoshinon crossed it's arms and seemingly pouted before going back to normal, but then it was grabbed by Tohka and held into the air menacingly.

"How dare you try to separate me and (Y/N)!" Tohka shouted at the puppet, causing the Yoshino girl to look scared, and both me and Kiibo to start panicking. "Huh? Why are you quiet now?! Speak up!"

"...P-Please...g-give..t-that...back..." Yoshino gently tugged at an enraged Tohka's skirt, with tears threatening to start rushing out any minute now, yet Tohka's eyes had a hurt expression to them.

"Say those things again, I dare you!" Tohka shouted as some teardrops escaped her eyes, and Yoshino suddenly began glowing, if Diamond is Unbreakable is anything to go by, that's a bad sign. "SPEAK UP!"

"ZADKIEL!" Yoshino shouted, causing me to grab Tohka's collar while Kiibo pulled the both of us away from Yoshino.

The room suddenly began colder than it originally was, and I could see my breath coming out of my mouth. Kiibo stopped pulling us to hide behind the nearby cash register. Kiibo turned one of his hands in an arm cannon, allowing him and I to look up from our hiding spot. We saw a giant rabbit puppet with glowing red eyes sitting where Yoshino once stood, while the spirit in question rode the rabbit like a horse. The rabbit puppet let out a roar before breaking a nearby wall and jumping through it. Kiibo and I dashed towards the hole with our respective weapons out, but when we got there, Yoshino was already riding off into the distance, leaving a trail of destruction in her wake.

"Well that failed spectacularly." I commented while putting my paintbrush back in my pocket and Kiibo turned his arm back to normal. "So are you gonna stay with us or...?"

"From this day forward, I officially quit the AST!" Kiibo announced with his arms upwards as he looked at me with a beaming smile, ignoring the fact that an explosion just occurred. "I look forward to working with you!"

"Good, now I have someone to help me in the field." I turned around to the counter Tohka was hiding at. "Hey Tohka, you can come out now!"

"Okay..." Tohka came out from behind the counter and walked towards us while rubbing her arm shamefully, she stopped walking when she was standing at my side. "Sorry about messing everything up, like always."

"Don't worry about it Tohka, everyone makes mistakes and you didn't know that Yoshinon wasn't actually alive." I wrapped my arm around Tohka's shoulder to help reassure her, but then her eyes turned curious. "You did know Yoshino was controlling Yoshinon...right?"

"Say what?!" Tohka shoute in surprise, I swear to gods I'm gonna lose my ears if people keep screaming at them. "How?!"

"There's this thing called ventriloquism, perhaps we should go to a puppet show after this whole thing is done." I offered, which isn't too bad of an idea for a date.

"I'll start getting to work on making them!" Angie positively volunteered, causing me to start hearing the sound of wood being cut.

"Thanks Angie." I thanked the girl as the three of us began making our way out of the building through the giant hole in the wall. "So what now? Do we start looking for her or what?"

"I'm getting kind of hungry, maybe we should get something to eat." Tenko suggests, which everyone agreed on because we did skip lunch. "So what are we eating?"

"Chinese?" Rantaro suggested, and none of us had any better idea so we agreed to it. "Great, (Y/N), you're the only one here with a job, so you're paying."

"Bloody hell."

(A/N: Boom, hope you all enjoyed that chapter! Yes Kiibo is officially joining the gang of our lovable idiots, and he's actually going to be more helpful than he originally was in the games. As for the plot I mentioned earlier...pay close attention to what these guys say and how they say it. Every single word I've used was picked out carefully...except for Bee Orgy and the other bullshit parts. By the way, I just started playing spirit pledge and got really uncomfortable during the whole Yoshino level. Like I know this is a dating sim but Yoshino is 100% no lewd in my book.
