"so, tell me about yourself" Kodi says                             

"what don't you learn about my life story in therapy?" i ask and he chuckles

"yeah i guess, but i didn't ask about your life story. i asked you to tell me about yourself" he answers

"um lets see, i like the color purple, i don't like people. my favorite number is 9. i like P!nk, i like nickel back, 5 finger death punch, 3 doors down, and Lady Gaga. i don't like flowers because they remind me of funerals. my dream date is netflix and chill the pg version. my favorite food is Chicken Alfredo. I have severe problems with authority, i don't know why i always have. my favorite movie is...i literally have no idea. i don't like horror movies because they cause episodes and i usually can't sleep after i watch them. I never walk into a dark room i reach around and turn the light on first because in my old foster home i used to get beat at night. When people yell at me i black out. i haven't seen my mom in years, the last i saw her she was high with a needle in her arm across the street from a movie theatre i used to go to. I had a boyfriend at the time who told me that people who do drugs are disgusting and they disgust him. He was there for me when i fell off of the wagon but i treated him like shit. Every time i looked at him all i thought is what must he think of me. He supported me, loved me, was always there when i needed him. But, once i decided to get sober i told him that i had to sever all ties with my old life in order to truly get sober and he agreed and i think he has a girlfriend now. My best friend was sad that i had to leave her friendship behind but it symbolized a time where all i did was get high and i couldn't think like that and i couldn't be around that either and her brother parties hard so i would've been around the very thing i was trying to escape. So, she was sad but she understood. Then i went to rehab go sober, it was torcher, then i came here and met you and well you know everything else" i say and he nods. "what about you?"

"that's a story for another time" he says and nod.

we get out and go into the diner we sit at a round booth it went Asher, Drew, Robin, Stacy, Me, Kodi. The waitress came over and looked Kodiak over hungrily. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

"Hi I'm Mandi, with an I" she says flirtatiously

"hi we'll share a chocolate milkshake large" he says and everyone else goes around and orders their drinks. When she comes out she asks if we are ready to order. We each go around and order but she stops of Kodiak and I. Kodi out stretches an arm around me and whispers in my ear "play along" and I nod and smile. we share a menu my left hand hold a side and his right one holding the other. "what do you want?" he asks trying not to milk anything.

"i don't know, what's good?" i ask looking at him

"we could share the deluxe chicken fingers and fries?" he suggests and i nod

"go ahead and order I'm gonna talk to Stacy about something real quick" i say and he nods turning to the waitress but his arm never  leaves my shoulders.

"we're faking" i tell her in a low whisper and she nods

"looks real to me" she says with a shrug

"that's the point" i counter and she rolls her eyes and mouths ~you know what i mean~ and i nod.

The waitress goes and comes back with our food while still flirting with Kodi so i decide to make a show of it and rest my head on his shoulder he relaxes immediately and Stacy text Robin to tell them what's going on so they can play along.

"aww, you all are so cute it makes me sick" Drew jokes and i throw a fry at him. This all seems so real.

"you're just jealous" Asher says and i laugh and casually feed Kodiak a fry trying to be inconspicuous about it and not trying to act cheesy.

"okay can i get you any desert?" the waitress asks pushing up her boobs in his direction.

Kodi turns to me and i am fake ignoring him so he'll have to call me babe in order to get my attention i am going to keep ignoring him until he calls me that and hopefully he gets the message.

"babe" he finally says and i look at him, his eyes are green and i love the way he calls me babe.

"yeah, what's up?" i ask him and he smiles

"uh do you want any desert?" he asks and i raise a questionable eyebrow to insinuate something.

"ha ha very funny but no I'm serious" he says

"uh no were good, what about you guys?" i ask and they shake their heads no.

"alright i'll be back with your check" she grumbles

Robin starts laughing "oh my god she's pissed" he says in between laughs.

"um, i hate to ask but my boss wants a kiss picture of you all for the couple wall" she points to the wall behind her and my heart rate quickens.

i look her in the eyes and i realize that this isn't a boss's order its a challenge and i never back down from a challenge. Kodiak is about to turn her down when i step in

"i don't see why not?" i ask and he nods.

i turn to look at him and grab his face smashing his lips on mine, what started out as a simple kiss turned into something much more. It was like i was dying of thirst in a dessert and Kodiak was my only source of water. He grabs my face so i don't move and i run my tongue on his bottom lip and he groans. He runs his tongue on my lips asking for entrance but when i deny him his arms snake around my waist i gasp when he pulls me closer with force and he takes this opportunity to plunge his tongue into my mouth. i don't know when we stop but i hear the click of the camera. event though the picture has been taken we don't stop. Not for the waitress, or for the camera, not even for air. We don't stop until we hear someone clear their throat, we break apart still breathing heavy but i don't miss the chance to place another peck on his lips.

He then places a peck on mine and then we are making out again. It's like all of the feelings we have been keeping under wraps has erupted and now we can't seem to get enough of each-other. He's like a drug the more i kiss him the more i want to kiss him. Once, we stop we realize that everyone is staring at us waiting for us to go. Robin already paid the check and we soon leave the diner. I slide back into Kodi's car and we sit there in silence.

i hear a soft "screw it" and next thing i know i am straddling Kodi in his car and kissing him again. Nope, i can't get enough and neither can he. I feel like every kiss is becoming deeper and more passionate.

I cannot believe i am sitting here in the parking lot of a diner making out with the hottest guy to ever roam this earth. Once we are out of breath i go back into my seat and we both sit there in a comfortable silence and then it hits me.
